Take some time to relax and unwind with Mrs Hinch: The Activity Journal
'A must for fans' Mail on Sunday ________________
Hello! Mrs Hinch here! Welcome to your very own Hinch activity journal!
This little book is all about giving yourself the gift of time out: time to plan, time to dream, time to relax, time for us to have a bit of a giggle and a de-stress.
We all live such stressful lives and it can be hard to take a moment just to breathe, but I want this book to be all about YOU. Something that we can all enjoy together.
So, make yourself a cuppa and curl up with this journal on the sofa in the mornings, or use it to wind down every evening before bed; whenever you need a bit of calm - just don't forget your crystal pen, as there are loads of relaxing, light-hearted activities for you to have fun with. Plus plenty of pages for you to plan your own hinching lists ready for the week ahead.
Read from start to finish or dip in on random pages - there are absolutely no rules here! Think of it as a book-shaped slice of you time. You deserve it!
Love, Mrs Hinch xx

We all know I'm a fan of cleaning and love Mrs Hinch, not for her cleaning tips but just because she's funny. What everyone doesn't know is, not just in 2019, but for a few years I've struggled mentally. I kept things to myself and started to self destruct a little because of how low I was feeling about many things in life and about myself. For Christmas Santa got me Mrs Hinch’s activity journal. Now I'm not usually one to sit down and reflect or do self help crap and most wouldn't put the book as a self-help kind of book but honestly.... I've started noticing changes already maybe not solely down to the book but it has definitely helped. I sit down most days when I go to bed and go a little bit each day. Obviously I love the little To-Do lists... Everyone knows I love a good list and action plan but also its helped me stop and take a few moments to really relax. It's helped me look at each week in a more positive way and look at myself more positively. Its surprised me with how hard it was for me to look at myself positively and I've always known I am not as confident as I make out but I didn't realise how badly until doing the book. Now I focus on the good points of each day and the good points of myself not just the bad. For anyone struggling be it you're a Hinch fan or not I highly recommend getting this book or something like it to help yourself sit and reflect on the weeks and the good things in each day. It's okay to struggle we all do and this year my focus is to love myself and who I am again as well as become more positive and less stress about every little thing. We're all human we all struggle and need a little help now and then 💕
Lovely book filled with nostalgic activities to complete and really simple ways to get your house clean and feel like you've achieved something! Sophie's a very human writer who connects with her readers.
WTAF???????? I hadn’t been aware of the Hinching phenomenon until I was given this for Christmas. I have no idea why this is an thing’. In my 20’s I was too busy getting a postgraduate education to worry about how clean my sink was 🙄. Just NO.
This is the second book that cleaning guru Sophie Hinchcliffe AKA Mrs Hinch has released. The activity journal is a lovely collection of tidbits about Mrs Hinch’s life, spaces for the reader to record entries into a journal, printed pages for the reader to write their own to-do lists AKA Hinch Lists, and lots of other bits and pieces. I can honestly say that I enjoyed writing in the journal pages, I am so introverted that I’m often seen to be rude in my lack of interaction with people. Going through this book, filling in the empty pages, doing the puzzles, and reading more about Mrs Hinch’s personal life was a refreshing change from my usual reading choices. Again, like her first book “Hinch Yourself Happy”, this book won’t receive any literary prizes, but it’s still a lovely book, and must have for her devoted followers.
I absolutely love following Sophie on Instagram so being able to have this book next to me every day is a blessing! Not only is it inspirational but it also has given me laughter, support, ideas and much more. I may have finished reading it but I'm not finished with the projects I have set myself to do. This book will give me inspiration for years to come.
Enjoyable and fun fluffy activities and quizzes, reminiscent of those in girls' magazines in the 1990s/2000s. They were a nice diversion on a rainy day over the Christmas holidays. The repetitive reference to "hinching" is dreadful though (sorry, Mrs Hinch). I suppose this is meant to be a large focus of the book, with it being aimed at fans of "hinching" and Mrs Hinch's social media, but I randomly received this book as a gift and so found those references cloying and off-putting. In this time of environmental chaos, the last thing the world needs is more chemical cleaning products in use. For good and eco-friendly cleaning tips, look instead to Nancy Birtwhistle.
It was a great book. She’s very inspiring and helps you organise your thoughts. She loves cleaning and she’s very positive and helps you organise your life. I did some of the activities and they’re fun and interesting. I would recommend this book to women.
I enjoyed now this helps you make notes and to do lists with housework but also has room to relax and enjoy some of the other pages. I feel from this book that Sophie is very down to earth and found an answer to the chore we all hate... Cleaning.
Full of activities to keep your mind busy and to help you to relax. This is something that I'm going to be working on for quite a while. It's nice to do in the evening before bed to relax your mind.
I think if you're based in the UK then you would have most likely heard of Mrs Hinch. I just love this book so much! It's filled with some fun and interesting activities ranging from all different things. She has put her personality into this and made it her own and that's what makes it so personal and in a way interactive. I want to try out certain activities in this book.
