Ranger
Rise of the Pride
Book 5

When Hope Alexander arrives at the Shaw pride, on the verge of death and scarred from her old pride, Ranger’s panther demands he become her personal protector.
Hope isn’t your typical female panther. She was raised to defend herself and those she loves. Teaming up with the dark-haired Guardian, Hope becomes a teacher to the females, giving them confidence to defend themselves in a time of need.

It doesn’t take long before Ranger and Hope realize that they are destined to be together, but Hope refuses the Guardian’s touch for fear of her old alpha and what he could do to Ranger if she is found. Ranger will risk his life to leave the pride in search of the one who harmed his mate.

Scar leaves a mark. It may be superficial but the memory it gives lingers in the mind and heart. Scars is not just a mark but a reminder that sometimes in our lives we fell and underestimate things. But as we fell, we learn to stand and move forward. Things may be difficult at first but in the long run it will be easy and good. Scars may leave a mark but it will be not be a reminder of how we fell but a reminder how we triumph the hardship in life.

Ranger and Hope story... Two panthers with scars, a love marked by destiny and a sweet revenge.

This is the fifth book in the series and they need to be read in order. I absolutely love this series. Hope arrives at the Shaw Pride close to death. She needs the Alpha to heal her. She is fleeing from her old pack. Ranger meets her at the gate when she arrives and his panther knows she is theirs immediately. Hope isn’t like most females. She was taught how to defend herself and she isn’t going to stop now. She believes all the females should be trained if they want to. Hope knows Ranger is her mate however she doesn’t want to put him danger.

Ranger has an old injury that couldn't be healed, but he is still one of the best Guardians the Pride has. Hope has scars from the cruelty of her prior Alpha.

So much happens during this book. I love the buildup that is happening through all the books. The community is charging ahead with their agenda and the Shaw Pride is going to protect their own. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is the fifth book in the series and they need to be read in order. I absolutely love this series. I picked the first three books while attending a signing. I figured I love shifters why not give this series a shot and now I am always eager for more from this series. Theresa is a fantastic author. The alpha from her old pack is a dangerous man. Ranger must convince her that he would never allow anyone to hurt her and as her mate it’s his duty to take on the danger she is facing. Not that she can’t defend herself but a primal part of the males is to protect their mates. Ranger is willing to face the danger with Hope not in front of her while she hides. He wants to be a team. Will Ranger and Hope be able to take of the danger coming after her? So much happens during this book. I love the buildup that is happening through all the books. The community is charging ahead with their agenda and the Shaw Pride is going to protect their own. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. The pride in general is changing. The pride is growing as well. They won’t let anyone stop them from living their lives.

I have been waiting for Ranger's book, since he was introduced in Birth of an Alpha. I fell in love with him because he was helping Evie, one of the young females, by teaching her to fight. Ranger is a Guardian, one of the highest ranks in the Pride, but he understood her need to be able to defend herself. Hope Alexander comes from another pride to join with Ranger's pride and he is instantly drawn to this strong and independent woman. She was taught to fight by her brother.

Okay, so enough about the fighting but it is detrimental to the ongoing story line, In this world, the males take care of the females. Yes, they know they are strong, but they also know they are precious and should be cherished. So when I say change is coming, the females are not demanding equal rights or anything like that because the females in the pride have the equality - except in being able to defend themselves. What they are doing is empowering their pride more.

Ranger and Hope - OFF THE CHARTS SEXY!! Seriously! Ranger has an old injury that couldn't be healed, but he is still one of the best Guardians the Pride has. Hope has scars from the cruelty of her prior Alpha. I loved the dynamics of these two characters. Hope, along with Liberty, were strong female characters to lead Evie and other young females. And Ranger showed the males that accepting help from a female wasn't bad and that fighting together makes them stronger. 5-stars!!

***SPOILERS***

I really enjoyed this story and how the women are "rising". I like that the pride is growing and evolving with the changes in the world around them. I really appreciated that Ranger was already training Evie so it wasn't hard to change his mind. Hope was a refreshing change for me from some of the books that I've read lately. She was honest with Ranger about recognizing he was her mate, not wanting him to mark her out of fear and also not wanting to have cubs immediately. In so many books the girl never states her true feelings about anything under the guise of "protecting" the man from danger. This relationship felt very real to me in it's honesty as well as intensity. When called to the carpet Ranger opened up about his injury and Hope reciprocated. I can't wait to read more and watch as the pride evolves to fight evil and become stronger in this new reality. If you haven't read this series I would highly recommend it. It has gotten better and better and Ms. Hissong is now on my auto buy list.

I absolutely LOVE this series and highly recommend it!!

I just keep falling more in love with these panthers, guardians, their mates and the entire Shaw Pride! In this book, Ranger he finds his mate, Hope who a bad ass, strong, independent and can and will protect herself and her new pride. She's strong, knows how to fight and is teaching the other females how to defend themselves. I love ALL of the females in the Pride and the bond they have with one another. I also loved that Nova and Mary Grace went into labor at the same time. With the Community getting closer and more threatening to the Pride, celebrating the birth of the newborn cubs is something they'll ALL need because they're going to have to be there for one another and protect their own more than ever. I'm SO excited to know that there's going to be 17 books to this great series!! I want them ALL!!!

Ranger is a guardian for the Shaw Pack and he has been through something traumatic in his past and it left a permanent scar. He does not allow that to hinder him or skirt his duties. So when he is told to man the gate and watch for a new arrival Hope Alexander to be taken into the pride. There is an instant attraction. Unfortunately, Hope has been recently dealt with something traumatic too. She is trying to escape one fate only to land in another. Can Ranger be the man he needs to be and help her? Can she change the way the males think about females? I can say with certainty that this book is emotional and intense. Hope is one of a kind and can hold her own. She is one tough chick and I love that she is helping the pride in a huge way. How does Ranger handle her and all that happens? I loved this one and cannot wait to get my hands on the next.

Love this series. Keeps you interested from first to last page. Hope and Ranger are a fantastic couple, each has their own strengths and weaknesses but does not let it get in the way of what has to be done. The Community is back causing trouble for the shifters and you also have Hope's old/new alpha causing trouble. Lots of hot moments, funny, and excitement throughout the story. The women of the pride are wanting to learn to protect themselves even if the males are against it. The males are against it but give in when Hope kicks butt and Evie and several other ladies insist. You have all members of the other books involved in this story which i enjoy cause you get to know what is going on in their lives. A must read for sure.

This is a great series. Each book ends on a cliffhanger so I would definitely recommend reading the series in order. I was introduced to this author just a little over 24 hours ago and I have finished the entire series. It was AMAZING!!! I just couldn't stop reading it. I loved the female characters. They had a damsel in distress quality to them (which I love) but with a side of total badass (which I loved). And I don't even know where to begin with the men. PHEW Man I love an Alpha male and it appears that this author can write an alpha male. I am beyond excited to see what else this author has out there for me to devour. Because...you know....I don't want to adult tomorrow, either.

Love Love Love This Series!!

Totally love this series and Ranger and Hope tops the rest of the books in this series but Talon will always be my favourite. Love the fact that Hope was kickass heroine along with her mate and how its time for the rest of the women learn how to defend themselves and shoot. Especially with the Community getting more bold in their attacks. Can't wait for Kye and Evie's book next and hope that Noah will be after them he needs his mate to soothe his broken heart over the lost of their mom.

Amazing

Omg this was well worth waiting for and the best so far. This is Rangers turn I know if you've read the previous stories you'd be thinking that maybe Ranger and Evie get together but your wrong. Hope gets sent by her brother to Talon for help from her new Alpha who is a total pig. However things are about to take a massive turn when we learn about a new hate group. Can Ranger claim Hope as his or will her former Alpha get to her first read this book to find out

Loved this installment

Ranger's story was so good loved how he trained Evie and then Callie. And when Hope came into his life he supported her training. He has become my series book boyfriend even though the tattoo of the eyes and the winged brows on his chest kinda freaks me out. Anyway great characters and the continuing storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for the next installment.

Love the Shaw pride

Have followed from the first book in down the line. This is Rangers turn. He is a little self conscious of his hurt leg but is all man and shifter. I have been rooting for him since he first came in.
Hope has been cut down the side by a bad alpha. Her brother taught her to fight. Together they are perfect. Her old alpha is trying to find her and her panther is scared.
Women are evolving in this story...love it.

I forgot how good this book is.
Love Ranger and Hope's story so much.
I loved how both he and Hope didn't fight their instincts.
Hope was terrified of Boris, but Ranger wouldn't take no for an answer.

Taze needs to sort himself out, although having a Panthers canines wrapped around his neck should give him a wake up call.

I love that the females are now learning to fight and defend themselves rather than having to alow the males to protect them.

Cannot wait to reread Kye next :)

Wow, just when I didn't think this series couldn't get any better Theresa knocked it out of the park!
New comer To the pride Hope has had horrible things happen to her, she was to be used and handed over to religious activists who call themselves the "community ". Can she be brave and find love?
Definitely a must read! Can't wait for the next installment!

Wow!! Freaking awesome shifter series

I have loved the first 5 books of this series. The characters are engaging and I find myself wanting to know more about the other members of the pride and the nearby bear crew. This series brings you into the pride and makes you one them, living their joys, successes, heart ache and failure. You will not regret reading this fabulous series.

Very entertaining

I love this s series. Each book is a self-contained story yet part of the series. Well written and very entertaining to read.
This is Ranger and Hopes story. Both having past scars they come together. There is also more about the radical group wanting to eradicate shifters.
I recommend this book as well as the series.

Ranger and Hope's book was next level sexy! So steamy you can cut it with a knife! I loved Hope! She was such a strong female lead and Ranger was a great partner for her.
At this point in reading the series you either love it or you are wrong. I am invested in T the pack and so anxious to see what happens next!

Enjoyable

Another enjoyable read. Hope is my Shero . I am still unsure about the sheriff and his relationship with Liberty. But Ranger cracks me up, actually all the Guardians do. I will continue to read the series. My only complaint is that the books are getting expensive but they are still short stories.

I keep reading

Though these books are not 'steamy' or 'sexual' so to speak. They are written well and have a great flow of characters and continuing storyline. I downloaded them 1 at a time to start & then added the rest at once. I have just found out that 4 more books are going to be added after the 13 I have 🤦‍♀️

This is Ranger's story. We learn how his leg got hurt and about the women (Hope) he fell in love with. The Pride is changing, with the female getting stronger. Read about Hope and how she ends up with the Shaw Pride and meets Ranger!
