🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺🚺 To tell you the truth, I started this manga only based on the art style and in that department, I have no complaints. It's beautiful and simple, hiding some glistening effects✧˖°. The character design is quite unique, yet it establishes a slender teen dominion as if it were the unspoken societal standard. Could be a woke unraveling of a troublesome weight norm within certain cultures, could be just me reading too much into it. Either way, it's an interesting take.
Regarding the writing, I appreciate the blunt & hurtful leitmotif about how most people turn a blind eye when it comes to something that doesn't comply with their likes and would rather force their inner suffering onto someone else than expose their own selves (mainly because it kind of still is how real-life communities work). The dialogue is a bit bland & repetitive here & there.
!!The manga doesn't shy away from displaying signs of abuse or violence, so you were warned!!
Character-wise, I expected a lot more sweetness than what I got. I don't really like that we're focusing on the same one main duo, who can't have a healthy, trusting queer relationship, though I very much understand it under those conditions (conditions being: living in a highly conservative, classist, politically exploiting, misogynistic and homophobic environment). The two heroines could be more encouraging & caring about one another though, especially given how much they relate. Really, there's no point in being that rude & forceful, and only using each other for some pleasure you don't yet want to comprehend. I'm interested in seeing if there's a chance of joining forces, blooming into love and patching it up somehow. Chayama deserves all the hugs :( The bullies need a lot more character development and redeeming actions if the author wants to make them sympathetic somehow. Also, WHAT exactly are the teachers & parents doing? How come they all deny or ignore what's been happening for years? JAIL!
So far, the art style is gorgeous, the characters have tragic, painful backstories and everyone feels trapped in that little town. Yey! Not triggering at all. But let's see some more~

Hot garbage! Mizuno is so creepy and her "relationship" with Chayama is unhealthy. This manga goes for a darker and edgier vibe than most GL manga and I just don't care for it. All the adults in this manga are useless or worse.
And I'm a fool for buying this and the second (and last) volume at once, so now I have to try to resell both.
