Felicity was the only person in the world who knew her daughter, Hope, is heir to the Stolvenia throne. Until a newspaper leaks the story and now everyone knows—including Hope’s father, King Rafael. The media storm surrounding what’s being called the century’s most romantic story is far greater than either could have anticipated.
On the plus side, with the public crazy about their “love” story, support for a referendum to dissolve the monarchy is waning. And when Rafael shows up at her door with a proposal, it doesn’t take much convincing for Felicity to agree to a marriage in name only—at least until the votes are counted and the referendum fails. She needs to take care of her daughter and her wheelchair-bound sister who requires expensive medical care. Surely, becoming a queen and molding herself into a proper royal won’t be that much of a sacrifice to make to give her family comfort and security. And if she still loves Rafael? Well, that was another thing she could deal with.
Rafael has never stopped thinking about Felicity and wondering why she’d left him. She was the only woman he’d ever loved and for the past three years, he’d been trying to forget her. Now, not only had he found her, he’d also found out he was a father—something his devious late mother had tried to ensure he would never know. All that time, he’d thought Felicity cold and heartless, but now with her acting her part as the future queen, he’s seeing the future he’d once dreamed of for them—and the chance to bond with his daughter, to boot. The only trouble is…he has no idea how to be a husband. Or a father. Or anything other than a king. He’s lived for his people for so long—is it too late to learn how to live for himself, and open his heart to true love?

The story is a blend of humor, revenge, passion, heartbreak, hope, and witty banter. As one reader put it, ‘This story had me squealing at the romantic moments and silly moments.’

Sometimes you are just convinced that you read a different book than all the other reviewers, this is one of those ......
I wanted this book to really be good and exciting, sadly it was boring, awkwardly sexual and throw in some of the authors political leanings and you have a great book for somebody that is not me. It could have been good but it seemed to actually go out of its way to skip over parts that could have been used to make it better. DNF at the 50% mark sadly
A lost chance at love could be a fresh start for a royal dynasty. Felicity gave more than her heart to Raphael. Years later the boy she left behind, finally gets answers and the surprises could topple a kingdom. The Billionaire King's Heir proves that although life is unpredictable, love is the ultimate survivor. North is known for sensuality, but Raphael, Felicity and Hope add a sprinkle of sweetness and that turns out to be a match made in heaven.
Leslie North has done it again... another sweet romance perfect for readers who just want all the love and none of the negativity. The characters she creates are strong females and the males who stand by their sides no matter what. There is just the right amount of tension to keep the story interesting, and the romance is tasteful, making this another fun light romance perfect for an anytime read.

This story is quite good and overall the characters are as well. I enjoyed reading about the struggles the leading lady goes through i.e. her issues regarding the monarchy and her role in it. But I don't think the book reached its potential.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

While is a the end to a series, you don't necessarily have to read the prior ones to fully understand and enjoy this one. The series is about 3 royal brothers with this one being the king. There is a subplot throughout the series about a referendum to cease the monarchy in the country but again you don't have to read the prior ones to understand the subplot.
I felt this was definitely the best of the three with the second one being also being a nice read.
This is written in my favorite dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into the characters' thoughts really help me to better connect and understand them. I really enjoyed the addition of the heir, little 2 year old Hope.
There were a few scenes that I really wouldn't even call them sexy as there were no details as it offend anyone. Just know that they were alluded to.
Prince Raphael of Stolvenia fell in love 3 years ago and she left him with no word as to why. He has no idea that she was pregnant and his mother sent her away and threatened her if she tried to contact him. After his mother dies he finds out about his daughter Hope and waste no time going to get her and her mother. Felicity knows Hope should be there and train to be a princess. Raphael plans to wed her and give his country a new Queen but their marriage will be in name only. He has a lot to learn about being a father and a husband. Everything can not always go his way in this marriage and he has to learn that or lose the only woman he ever loved. Good book
Felicity and her daughter Hope to with Raphael to his kingdom. Hope is his heiress. Felicity is determined to do right for Hope. She also want to help the women in the kingdom. Felicity has to deal with the Press, and kingdom politics. I like how they slowly begin to fall for each other again. I like Felicity standing up against Rafael with certain issues. I like Rafael finally realizing he needs to give Felicity what she needs.
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well. I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

Felicity thought about when she fell in love with Rafael, and wondered what it would have been like if they had stayed together. But now she knew- no privacy. She was the mother of a royal child, and the whole world now knew. The whole world had gathered around her small apartment she shared with her daughter Hope. The years of keeping Hope’s father a secret was over. The reporters were relentless and shouted question to her through the closed panes of the window. Felicity thought when rafael’s mother- the Queen- passed away fear would stop. She wouldn’t have to worry anyone was watching her. But she’d been so wrong. Her twin sister Joy who was disabled asked if felicity thought she should move . This was what Felicity could afford with her pay. When she wasn’t working she was with Joy or caring for Hope. She worked at Westwood Crossings with a human resources position. Joy would have helped but her disability payment barely covered Joy’s needs. Joy still suffered from the car accident from when they were nine. Rafael was going to Iowa to face Felicity and see his daughter. Family meant everything to felicity and she would do anything to keep them safe and happy. They were going to have to wait out they weekend but Monday Felicity had to go to work she couldn’t afford to be fired with money so tight a flat tire would blow up her whole budget. There was a knock at the door that is different from the reporters. She was drawn to the door and then she realized how quiet it had gotten outside than she saw it was Rafael at her door. Felicity let him in and then he saw his daughter , heir to the throne of Stolvenia. Hope wanted him to pick her up and he did. One minute he was a man, the next he was a father. It was almost like he's known her all along. Joy offered to stay with Hope so they could talk. They needed to formulate a plan. Rafael said he was sure his mother was forceful but why didn’t she come to him? Felicity said it seemed simpler to go along with it. She implied she discussed it with you, thay you were on board with everything she said. Rafael said there is going to be a referendum in Stolvenia. The people are going to decide whether to remove the monarch from power Now that the opposition has seized on his secret family -and the payments from the monarch to keep it quiet they’re trying to frame this as proof the monarch can’t be trusted. They needed to redirect this narrative. He also added Hope was going to need security . She has to have appropriate housing, a team of people ensuring her safety. Felicity said she didn’t have the money for a security team and rafael said he had a plan. He wanted her to come to Stolvenia with him as well as Joy. All she’d have to do is play a role for him. T carry on the charade they were in love and marry him. I did love this book. Of course another great read from MS North so happy she keeps writing them and I get to read them. I loved Rafael and Felicity and of course Hope and how they interacted.Hope definitely added to this book she was so cute!!!! I loved how when Rafael first held her he went from a man to a father in seconds. I loved the closeness between Joy and Felicity and how devoted they were to each other. The only addition Ican think I would have liked in this book was a backstory for Rafael and Felicity - maybe at a future time -I can always hope. I loved how kate won the people of Stolvenia over to her even the reporters. I loved that rafael gave Kate a way out. I read this in one setting didn’t want to put it down. I loved the pace and plot. I loved all the characters -except the queen who had already passed away- and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.
Well King Raphael of Stolvenia's mamma did a dirty on him 3 years ago and ran off the woman he loved who was carrying a little present. She made it known that Felicity was just to leave without ever contacting Raphael again. Plus she told her Raphael knew all about this. Add to that the threat to take away the baby if the knowledge of who the baby daddy was.
Now the opposition, who are trying to get rid of the monarchy, has the info and it has blown up in the press around the world. Lucky for this King he has always wondered why Felicity disappeared without a word and also wanted her back, at least way deep down he has whether he wants to really admit it or not. Add a little bundle of bouncing 2 year old blonde curls and blue eyes into the mix and he is all set on never letting either of his girls go. So the plan is set to save the monarchy and also get his girls. Or will it all blow up in his face as he sticks to the rules and royal protocol instead of showing Felicity that he really does not her and not just a "fake" marriage for the people.
Felicity goes along with the plan and starts to turn herself into an empty shell - following the rules and royal protocol but losing the spark that makes her special. Plus can she keep it up if what she really needs a deep relationship with Raphael but she is not sure if he can do it or not?
It comes down to the last minutes before the wedding to make the decision of whether they want the same things............each other and a family.
I really loved The Billionaire King’s Heir, the last book in the European Billionaire Beaus series by Leslie North. Leslie is a great writer who does a fantastic job of writing a series that intersperses the various characters into each book just at the right time. Plus the emotions of each book are great with amazing highs and real lows but always a HEA. Her characters are flawed but always have an underbelly that is soft and loving.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The Billionaire King’s Heir (European Billionaire Beaus Book 3) By: Leslie North Just When You Think It's Over, "The Billionaire King’s Heir" Reels You In Once Again! "The Billionaire King’s Heir" has been Hidden too LONG.... But...Now that His Scheming Mother, the Queen, is DEAD... He's about to bring the TRUTH to LIGHT, or at least a Version that'll WIN the Country OVER, And Maybe Solve the Referendum problem IN ONE Swoop... But He forgot a few Simple FACTS, He's Dealing with People with Feelin's... NOT a few Puppets, easily PULLED, with some Strings! And His Proposal for a Relationship in Name-Only... Well... That's NOT Quite Sooo fulfilling as the REAL THING either! I was granted, via B00|{$P®0UT, an ARC of Leslie North's "The Billionaire King’s Heir (European Billionaire Beaus Book 3)." I recommend this book to others based upon its own recommendations. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given! Until next time... Happy Reading!
In Stolvenia there has been a current of political unrest with people wanting to get rid of the monarchy, but with a leaked story about Raphael and Felicity’s “love story”, a referendum to dissolve the monarchy is not getting as much attention.
Felicity and Raphael had a relationship when he was a Prince. Felicity found out she was pregnant, but Raphael's mother quickly sent Felicity back home to the United States and told her not to ever contact Raphael or mention her child is part of the royal family. But now that Raphael is advised of the child, he shows up at her apartment. He wants her to accept a marriage of convenience until after the referendum to help him win over his country’s favor and keep the monarchy in place. In return, the royal family would provide for her, their daughter Hope, and Felicity's disabled sister, Amy. Felicity was the only woman he had ever loved. He searched for her when she disappeared. Would their love keep them together this time in the family they were meant to be?
This is yet another wonderful captivating story in this series that the reader cannot stop wanting to read. The brothers are all good people who want the best for their country and for their loved ones. After all, how hard can it be to put protocol and rules aside to instead build love and trust with the woman and child you almost lost? Grab your copy and find out if Felicity and Raphael can share their love again and realize the life they can embrace as a family!
This is the end of the series; although it kept me intrigued from start to end, I missed Prince Armin, wife Katie and his two adopted daughters. I was hoping that all family members would be involved with the issues going on in their country. This book is about Felicity and King Rafael alone. She was sent back to the states by the King’s mother, but she never reached out to the King at least to inform him of her pregnancy. She now lives in Iowa with her daughter Hope and her sister that needs care after an accident. She works as HR for the center that her sister stays in due to her needs, but it is barely enough for her to keep up with the bills. The Kind finds out that she had his child, which is the future queen to his country, and needs to have both return to his country. Of course, by this time, Felicity has reporters hounding her apartment as they have found out that Hope is the daughter of the King. Felicity agrees to the plan that King set out for them and returns to his country, but the plans include her marrying him and being Queen with no relationships between them. She must learn a lot of protocols but fails at some. She feels caged and when the King realizes this, he sets her free to make a choice – the question is does she choose to stay with him in the plan or not?

Years ago, Felicity and Raphael had a relationship that resulted in a pregnancy. When Raphael's mother learned Felicity was pregnant, she forced Felicity to leave and threatened her to never contact Raphael and to never let anyone know her child was of royal blood. King Raphael has spent the last three years trying to forget Felicity and his love for her and is shocked when a newspaper breaks the news that he has a daughter with Felicity. Felicity has struggled to provide for her daughter and her sister and isn't surprised when Raphael shows up on her doorstep. Raphael convinces Felicity to become his wife, and he promises to take care of her, their daughter, and her sister. Can Felicity become the queen Raphael and his people need? Can Raphael be the husband and father that Felicity and their daughter need him to be? Will Felicity lose who she is while trying to be the proper royal? Will Felicity and Raphael admit their feelings to each other and find their happily ever after? I really enjoyed The Billionaire King's Heir by Leslie North. The Billionaire King's Heir is an entertaining read with great characters. I would definitely recommend getting The Billionaire King's Heir and the other two books in the European Billionaire Beaus series.

When King Rafael was advised that he had a daughter and that his own Queen Mother had a hand in her mother fleeing back to the United States with her he didn't even stop but immediately told the head of his security agency to make ready the plane. Felicity had flown back to the United States to care for her twin sister who had suffered severe injuries in an automobile accident that had left them as orphans at the age of 9. She had been convinced by the Queen that Rafael was aware of everything and agreed with all the plans.
King Rafael was convinced he was over Felicity but found he still had feelings that he had to try hard to control since he was in close proximity to her on a daily basis since he had taken the three of them back to Stolvenia to live since there was no choice when it came to protecting Hope, his heir to the throne.
The chemistry between Rafael and Felicity was as strong as ever and situations happened that left them alone and cupid took over.
King Rafael had made an agreement with Felicity to become married but in the public eye only with no strings attached but then he realized she was essentially like a bird held in a cage so he offered her an out if she wanted to take it.
This book is a love story to enjoyed by any and all romance readers so grab a copy, a glass of wine and enjoy this wonderful love story.
Felicity was in love with a king and shortly after becoming pregnant his mother threatened if she didn’t leave they would take her baby away. So she went to the USA and became a single mom and looked after her sister. Life was hard but happy. Back in Stolvanian, King Rafael was given the news he had a daughter and where they were. He pays them a visit and in order to get Felicity back he asks her to have a fake marriage for the sake of their daughter’s safety and his kingdom.
This is a steamy contemporary romance that is well written and heartwarming. The characters are interesting, well composed and personable. I found myself drawn to them as people; smart, caring and family orientated. The narrative is well crafted giving a great definition of the setting and furture drawing out the characters personalities. It is an emotion rollercoaster as the two have to get to know each other while dealing with internal fears an insecurities and all the facets of royal life. They both need to come to the realization of what it is that is really important for true happiness to occur for themselves, each other and their daughter. The steamy scenes enhance the drama rather than detract from the story. This is a well written contemporary romance and I found myself reading it in one sitting.

When King Rafael finds out that he has a daughter with his former love Felicity, he plans to see his daughter and bring her home. Felicity is caring for her sister who is wheelchair bound. There is so much that neither knew about all the circumstances as to why it all happened. But Rafael and Felicity still love each other, and have yet to realize it.
It’s sad to find out that he was never told about his daughter due to his own mother. It was cruel to do that to him. Now he is trying to make up for lost time and learning to be a father. But what truly is heartbreaking is that these two really loved each other then and could have been happy. A lot has to be fixed and addressed even in regards to the country. I do love that an issue we have here is being addressed of sorts. I agree with all of what Felicity and her sister Joy said about women’s right. Felicity had a lot to learn about being a queen and at times it broke you heart at how things were going. Rafael seemed to waver but then be as uncertain. But these two are hot and steamy together and who wouldn’t want a happy ending.
Felicity was the only person beside the Queens that knew about her daughter Hope. However now the world knew and she didn't know how they found out. Prince Raphael hadn't known about his daughter until he read about her and saw the pictures in the tabloids and couldn't believe Felicity would keep her a secret. He immediate flew to the states to collect them and Felicity's sister to get them to safety. Upon learning that she though he wanted her and their baby gone that's why she disappeared when she found out she was pregnant. Now was his chance to reconnect with her and his daughter. Felicity is back with Raphael to help him calm his country and get it under control somewhat. Will they be able to be together with everything that's happened? Can they move pass the distrust they have to build a future together?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

An enjoyable read but a little too short for my tastes. This was less then 100 pages and I liked the series so I would have enjoyed a more in depth final book. Having said that, this story is about Felicity and Raphael. They had a relationship years ago but Raphael’s mother interfered when she found out Felicity was pregnant. She sent Felicity back home to the United States and told her to never contact Raphael or let anyone know that her child is part of the royal family. A few years have passed. There is a movement in Stolvenia to remove the royal family. Suddenly the child Felicity has been keeping silent about has been brought to King Raphael's attention, and that of the country. Felicity is completely in the dark when Raphael shows up at her small apartment with a proposal, marry him, help him win over his country that the royal family and he would take care of her, their daughter Hope and Felicity's sister, Amy.

The Billionaire King's Heir is the third and final book in Leslie North’s European Billionaire Beaus series. This is essentially a second chance romance with the King of Stolvenia finding that the woman he believed was his forever love, had been driven away by his interfering mother, while pregnant with his child.
Raphael for his part was somewhat hard to warm to, as his persona was very much focused on the drama surrounding a splinter group opposed to the monarchy, and the responsibilities and repercussions of the pending Referendum, while Felicity was a down to earth, everyday American just trying to make ends meet and juggle the demanding life of motherhood and family expectations.
I liked the plot and general storyline (even though there were few surprises), but often felt that found Raphael was too rigid and ceremonial in his ways. I must admit he did start to grow on me once his emotions became more involved and he was faced with some tough decisions about his family’s future and an eventual HEA was the final outcome.
King Rafael has just found out that when Felicity ran off back to America she took more than just a piece of his heart with her. Felicity lives a quiet life with her wheelchair bound sister Joy and her beautiful daughter Hope but that quiet is shattered when the press find out that Hope is King Rafael's daughter. With all that's going on in his kingdom Rafael proposes that Felicity, Joy and Hope come home with him and that he and Felicity get married, fake married to save his kingdom. But what happens when real feeling get involved? His love for his daughter and the pain of missing so much. How he never got over his love for the girl who got away and maybe she feels the same? But with so much pressure to be perfect will they brake into a million pieces that can never by out back together or will they be like the diamond forged by the their firey passion and unimaginable royal pressure? This story is sweet emotions and a HEA

The reserved taciturn king has been an object of fascination for me since this series began, yet this wasn’t quite the man I was expecting to find beneath the crown. I admired Felicity’s fierce independence, but her contrary nature made me want to tear my hair out by the roots. I adored watching these two when everything was working – there’re so many sparks and so much chemistry. However, when their communication breaks down (or just disappears entirely) it was painful to witness their interactions. I was frustrated by this pair’s constant refusal to actually discuss the small problems while they were still small rather than letting them fester to become really big issues in their relationship. Even though Raphael and Felicity drove me to distraction, the ending is perfectly adorable and utterly charming. I’m sorry to see this series end. This is dramatic and entertaining. When Rafael's mother, the Queen, realizes that Felicity is pregnant she convinces her that it's in everyone's best interest if she went back to America and never contact Rafael again, and that he agreed. Three years later is when Rafael finds out about his daughter, and that the info came from a group who want to use it to gain favor with the people in order to end the monarchy. Rafael immediately goes to America and brings his daughter, his ex and her sister back with him. And tells Felicity that they were going to be getting married. The attraction and love is still there, but neither is willing to risk their heart again. They proceed to live two lives, the public one, and the private one. Rafael can be a hard*ss and unemotional, but he's a softy when it comes to his daughter. The end is so sweet. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
Leslie North is one of my new favorite authors, and this book did not disappoint. She has a skill with her writing that draws you into the story and holds onto you until its done.
Felicity became pregnant with the King's baby, but left out of fear of his mothers threaten's before the King even knew she was pregnant. She went to the USA and was a single mom and looked after her sister.
Before long news was given to King Rafael that he had a daughter, he had no idea, until now. King Rafael decides to go to the USA to see Felicity, and convince her to go back to Stolvanian with him. The story takes us on their journey and it is a roller coaster ride. I loved every second of it.
This is a sexy and steamy romance that is extremely well written. All characters are interesting, easy to follow and very well composed. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a great romance.
