I really really really love this story, it's hella cute. But can Tabata please stop talking like that? Like I get it, I really do. But please please, she needs to stop talking like that about herself. Even if she were the ugliest person in the world, which is very subjective and also not true, she would still be deserving of love and appreciation. It doesn't matter if its coming from someone super attractive, that doesn't make her less or undeserving of it.
And I know she doesn't see it that way and I can understand why, but I'm missing that grow on her part. We're on volume 7 and even though we've had some moments, for the most part she still sees herself like in volume 1, and that worries me because I'd hate for this story to be just about the hot guy falling in love with the ugly girl. It could be so much more than that, and we can see that in some parts, but not enough.
So as much as I love this volume, and as happy as I was with the confession and everything, I can't ignore the rest.

I loved the confessions lol. They hit the mark and my standards just got higher.

^^ like tell me this isn't the most touching thing ever. They're freaking adorable... Hiding the fact that they're dating though Idk... I lowkey hate when they do that in manga, but I'm glad they told their loved ones almost immediately.

Seconard ship sailing successfully so far too and we got a potential 3rd!! I'm excited to see what's next! (Also found the ad for the adapation sooo that will be my next watch!)
