Jock Gilder inspires!

I am always thrilled when I come across a Jean Kuhnke book that I haven't read yet. This story of inspiration and guidance between an aging man and a young girl taught the art of watch repair is much deeper as the lessons and relationships forged are all influenced by the apprenticeship. Great reading!

A young child who had the patience even then, to listen and learn about what her grandfather did. A good story about timepieces and jewelry. She was independent, wondered if love would come because she was.
Another delightful book by the author.

A family saga

This sweet romance story is delightful but a little long-winded. I liked the characters who loved God and never did wrong. Stilted writing.

A fun book rr

.This book was interestiraerng due to Natalie’s gift for repairing watches and clocks. That led to Jen shows and making jewelry. '

This should have been good. The background story and setting was interesting. But somehow the book was a slog. Endless interuptions implausibly prevented someone declaring their romantic interest. That took up a large part of the book.

But the thing that really put me off was way the book seemed to preach that no matter how talented the woman was, she was better off giving up her business, and having endless babies.

What a fantastic story

What a fantastic story, she thinks she has scared away all suitors, by becoming independent, until one begins to show some interest, but will she have to give up her career? To find out you really must read this book by a really great Author

Sweet Romance

Mr.Gilder's Apprentice by Jean L. Kuhnke. This was a little different story. The romance was sweet but it went into more detail on the career choice of the heroine. A little long on the details of a jeweler than I thought was necessary but I enjoyed the characters.

Another superb story of an independent woman

An inspiring story of how to become an independent woman who has all her priorities straight and has faith to back her up.
