Wealthy Granville resident, Sissy Stapleton, is sure someone in her household is trying to kill her. After listening to her perilous plight, Ryli and Aunt Shirley both agree someone may indeed be trying to kill Sissy.
Ronni Reynolds is convinced her grandmother, Darletta Ross, has been hustled by Brywood resident John Smith. Darletta, however, insists something horrible has happened to her new younger man. Now it’s up to Ryli and Aunt Shirley to figure out if Darletta has been conned or if something more sinister is afoot.
Between hot yoga classes, nightly stakeouts, and new weapons for Aunt Shirley to perfect, the girls take to the road to solve their cases before victims start crawling out of the woodwork. Good thing Aunt Shirley just stocked up on her stash of tequila!

Ryli and Aunt Shirley are the new dynamic duo!
When I want a wickedly funny book with heart, a great mystery and characters who are like friends - I turn to the Ryli Sinclair Mysteries!
Ryli and Aunt Shirley are in the middle of two cases - a woman who believes her cat is trying to kill her and a woman looking for love..maybe in the wrong places!
Ryli and Aunt Shirley are at their best in the book. A perfect pair with intelligence, determination, and experience on their side. I always know it will be a wild ride when these two P.I.'s are on a case! It's fun to see Ryli mature throughout the series and learn the "ropes" from Aunt Shirley. Garrett and Old Man Jenkins add to the romance and humor.
If you want a cozy mystery that has "spark" and "heart" , this series is for you! I'm impatiently waiting for the next case!

Always such a funny read!
I always enjoy a book by this author and the Ryli series is one of my favorites. Between Ryli and Aunt Shirley, those two get into some wild scrapes and Shirley always gets them out of out it in the funniest and most spectacular way. I hope Ryli and Garrett will work a case together as newlyweds, that would be great!

Private investigators Ryli and her Aunt Shirley have hit the big time.....two cases at once! It was fun watching them work both cases at the same time. The two of them make a great team. Wait until you read about the gift Aunt Shirley’s husband got her for Christmas! I couldn’t start laughing. He certainly understands her! I hope we don’t have to wait long for the next book in the series.

Running out of patience...
Desperation and boredom of being laid up and immobile are not appeased with Ryli and Shirley's latest mess...
Unfortunately one was predictable and the other once again needed a scooby doo confession to make any sense at all... Ryli and Shirley blunder around with little real idea of what is going on until one or other gets threatened by the guilty party... things that could be funny fall flat, the false teeth thing has been so over played as to be irritating... St James writes far better than this so I don't understand why she hasn't made a better job of the series...

Good read
Book 10 has humor, danger, mystery, and, again, 2 murders. Ryli and Aunt Shirley have their PI licenses and a great office. And finally, two clients and a hilarious one at that. And, of course, in the process of their investigations, they find body. Hilarity and chaos ensue. Highly recommend.

Fun series!
This series offers a fun setting for cozy mysteries. I always enjoy Aunt Shirley's antics and catching up with all of the characters. I look forward to reading the next book!

flippin hilarious
My favorite line ever: “Wouldn’t a non-returning boomerang be called a stick?” Ryli and Aunt Shirley are great together and I love that Ryli calls her out on her weirdness. Love this team and this series.

Lively action

This is another great addition to this series. The characters are warm and fun. The mystery and action are totally entertaining. This is an enjoyable story!

This is a fun, wonderful cozy mystery series. Ryli and her Aunt Shirley are up to their necks in hot water again. Aunt Shirley has a new weapon of choice, and she's not afraid to use it. LOL

Two cases for them. They do a stake out for the first one, and even spend the night to see what the story is. The second one is a little more involved.

As always, Ryli and Aunt Shirley are on the case again. This time we have a cat who’s trying to kill his owner, and old ladies getting conned out of their pension! Lots of great twists and turns and a surprise ending of who done it!

Jenna St James has done it again. Everyone's favourie pole dancing Aunt Shirley has done it again. Thoroughable enjoyable ride from page 1. Love all of Aunt Shirley's friends and all her carefully hidden arsenal. Her newest toy especially 😀😀💖💖

This is the latest mystery in the Ryli Sinclair series. It’s what I expected. Well written, fun, and full of great characters.
Ryli and Aunt Shirley are investigating some wacky cases and trying to stay out of trouble. But as usual trouble seems to find them!
