There is always a bigger fish . . . and this group eats them.
Rival teenagers Garrett Weaver and Kellen Winstel came into the Salt world by very different paths – one a powerful and welcomed Orcinian hostage, the other a rebellious convict stolen from the surface and dragged into slavery. What they have in common is that both are now trapped by the same Selkie owners.
Fellow slaves Chidi Etienne and Lenny Dolan can relate. They’ve been attempting to escape the unforgiving Salt realm for as long as they can remember with seemingly no way out for any of them.
All that of that is about to change though, for better or worse.
Because for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction . . . and when learning one of their own has been kidnapped by Selkie slavers, an Orcinian reaction is quite the thing to behold.

Aaron Galvin learned that he could get away with making up stories at age five and has continued telling them ever since. He is a conflicted Slytherin/Gryffindor, a known rascal, and sometime ne’er-do-well.
Also, he writes. Daily, sometimes, but mostly nightly.
He currently lives in Southern California with his two lovely daughters and an adoring wife, who continues to put up with his antics even though he doesn’t write the kissy-kissy, ‘everyone lived happily ever after’ books of which she much prefers.

I’m amazed at how Aaron Galvin manages to keep the standards of his writing and this series so high. Each new episode is brilliant. This episode is no exception and things really are a whirlwind for the characters this time. The dangers are even higher as the world of the Salt reveals yet more about itself. It really is awesome work and I can’t get enough of it. Each episode builds yet more into the world beneath the waves leaving the reader wanting more and more each time. I only hope the author can keep up with the demand he’s creating. I for one am certain he can and I can’t wait to read it. Highly recommended.
This episodes gets gruesome. The slave auction has finally begun. Slavery is such a horrifying notion that I felt uncomfortable reading this episode, but it's the whole basis of the Salted series. Kellen witnesses first hand now what he had become. Chidi's life, however, will be changed forever from this auction, and for that I'm so happy. Then... chaos ensues. Of course, there would be chaos wherever Henry goes, but it only gets worse. In this episode, it's finally clear that everything revolves around Garrett Weaver.
The Rogue Seawolves (The Salted Series, Episode #10) by Aaron Galvin
In this action packed installment of the Salted series life under the Sea becomes Brutal. Garret is a captured slave and gets to witness more cruelty and dangers being trapped by the slave owners. Kellen is faced with the harsh realities of what he has now become. Chidi only knows life as a slave but she longs to be free. Trying to escape will end in dire consequences, every action has consequence and most do not end will.
Fast paced page turning (dark) fantasy told in alternating voices. I really knew what each was thinking and feeling. The characters are well developed, some likable others are not. There is a list of characters at the end for people who are new to this series. It makes it easier for you to know who everyone is.
The Rogue Seawolves is an edge-of-your seat thrilling read, filled with emotionally charged moments. Not for the faint of heart (but) I highly recommend those who love a great fantasy. Once again the cover art is fantastic and captures the story to perfection.
