His list of enemies grows — but so does his power.
The unexpected onslaught of an entire guild almost crushes the dungeon. Instead, the enemy becomes yet another tool of punishment. Keeping his promise to Zarah, the unnamed Dungeon Master turns his wrath upon Duke Merromont's estate. He enlists new allies to fortify the dungeon while his gruesome minions grow in strength.
However, the Master's machinations have not gone unnoticed by those that rule. Despite not remembering his past, it will soon return to haunt him.
S Mays grew up in a small rural town in Virginia. He spent much of his childhood building elaborate stories in his head, reading whatever books were hidden around the house, or exploring the local woods. His grandma possessed a bookshelf containing a set of hopelessly outdated encyclopedias, which he read front to back numerous times. He marveled at the prediction man would eventually land on the moon (1.5 decades after the event had already occurred). He'd make frequent trips into his grandma's armoire, attempting to find the entrance to Narnia, but he'd always just end up making his grandma angry instead of discovering a dimensional portal.
These days, when he is not working for The Man, he spends time at home with his wife and their menagerie of pets, which range from several fish to cats, dogs, and an army of ferrets. His interests include reading (fantasy, science fiction, paranormal, horror, and comic books - naturally), playing video games (RPG, strategy), watching television (anything related to superheroes, Rick and Morty, MST3K, GoT, Comedy Bang Bang - basically anything absurd or not based in reality. Reality is booooring). He has been known to weight train from time to time.

This a-typical Dungeon Master-Dungeon Core fantasy novel series has an anti-climactic third book/volume (this one). I do not want to tell you about the spoilers or the sort-of cliff-hanger-ending but, I will tell you that I feel that this story is improving as the volumes/books continue. From its first amnesia-so-I-can´t-describe-anything-or-anyone-book-one to this third book. The no-name-cause-I-got-amnesia-main-character-finally-has-a-name (a title and the reasons that everything happened the way it did). Because each book in the series is so short (about 150 pages), getting to this climax point of the story, took three books. The main plot arc (getting revenge) was revealed by the author until the second book. Getting revenge got extremely complicated and convoluted in this third book/volume. I don't think that it can continue to be a Dungeon Master-Dungeon Core book in future books/volumes...but who knows...because of its a-typical style and cryptic (don't describe the characters or the world around them much-writing-style of this author) anything is possible at this point of the story... This book series lacks character summaries, illustrations, maps and other things that stories like this one include in their book series.
Wherein Hero, Master Of The Dungeon, Recovers His Name
Hero, the amnesiac Master of the Dungeon; Zhara, The Dungeon's Heart; and all the Dungeon's minions have trained and strengthened themselves. All are more powerful than ever, but they must now defeat yet another overpowering force or die in the attempt.
This novel will likely appeal to fans of the Fantasy, LitRPG, and Dungeon Core genres; as well as those who enjoy playing RPGs.
I was blown away by the time I reached the end of this book. I couldn't put it down. I thought sure things where going one way, then quick as a wink, things changed. I am definitely getting the next book.
The first two books were fine. Typical Dungeon starting books. Now it's gotten good. Fast paced page turner with interesting characters that you can instantly root for
Good read. It was a nice read. It leaves you always for more. I hate that i cant just rate a book i just read and bought. I have to physically write for a rating . I would like this author to continue doing their work/ written. art. How many more words do you need amazon. 12 to 10 words? It's a good book.
Mistakes: I found nothing wrong. Plot: Revenge is at hand. Characters: I found the characters of the dungeon to be very interesting. I would follow, but I think this is the last book. 8/10
Enjoyable overall; no particular complaints (although I am a bit concerned for the MC's direction at the end) but for me it lacked the je ne sais quoi of a 5-star rating. If you've followed the books to this point you won't be disappointed, and I'll certainly read book 4.
I guess Amazon was rushing him to put out another book cause this one was very short and not very good story but this is the last time I read this series
