Ars Notoria -- The Grimoire of Rapid Learning by Magic, with the Golden Flowers of Apollonius of Tyana: a Mediaeval grimoire designed to enable students to master any subject very rapidly
Dr. Stephen Skinner, Ph.D. (Classics, University of Newcastle, 2014) author, editor, publisher, and lecturer. He is known for authoring books on magic, feng shui, sacred geometry, and alchemy. He has published more than 46 books in more than 20 languages.
Summary: This Book is a part of the Hermetic Tradition and should not be confused as being "generally" about magic.
You can now get this book via books on tape, but you might want the physical version. It offers up a bit of history associated with King Soloman, who is known in the Hermetic tradition, not just as a great leader in the Bible, but also a master of the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus.
This book is likely best though for the prayers of Solomon which are translated from Latin/Hebrew into English. It's for that reason that reading visual version vs an audio version might be better. It's fine if you read it in English, but obviously the original languages will carry the original vibration. Hence, you likely would ultimately want to learn that.
I think folks that are not of the Hermetic tradition might be those that gave it low ratings. Not sure why else you would. The info is helpful.
