Excellent. This is, hands-down, the best book about flying airplanes I've read. It's a solid mix of theory and experimental information that can be developed through practice and understanding. Learn about energy management, angle of attack, the forces of flight, how wings develop lift, aircraft control, maneuvers, stalls, spins, takeoff, landing, XC flying, emergency procedures, multi-engine flying, the laws of motion, the atmosphere, learning theory, pilot-in-command decision-making et al, with original illustrations that make the book ideal for student pilots, along with technical/mathematical explanations for engineers and curious laypersons. For me, this is the gold standard by which all flight instruction literature will be judged. If you want to learn how to fly airplanes, go to flight school, find a CFI, and read this book.
