Bunny Cloverfield prioritizes pooches over partners.
Max Sheridan woos work, not women.
Can canines save a couple headed for the doghouse?

I already got rid of one boyfriend--he spent more time playing games on his electronics than he did with me and my beloved dogs.

Max and I meet when he knocks me on the head with his backgammon case.

Not his best opening move.

From the moment my Flopsy spaniel gobbles up one of Max's backgammon checkers, to the fight over who gets to cuddle with whom, it's a roll of the dice as to who will end up winners (but one of 'em better be me)!

Play at Love is a standalone, short-n-sweet novella. That means for 2 hours or more there's no cheating, no sex, and no cussing. There is a guaranteed happily ever after, with no cliffhanger.

Texas-born and Missouri-raised, I've lived lots of places since. My latest stint was Las Vegas, NV, for 15 years, teaching elementary school.

Reading and writing romance is my life's blood: sweet romantic comedy, steamy contemporary, and historical fiction.

When I'm not reading and writing romance, I study how to read and write it better. Most days I'd like to read and write romance at the beach, but I'm currently land-locked.

My door is always open--hope to see you around!

This is a pretty good story and a very interesting reflection. Both characters are likeable, story has character depth and I think mainly depicts having boundaries, learning from past relationships and compromise. I would have liked it to be a bit longer so the romance could have more depth but they're happy. Love the Belles, they're hilarious.

Irony and Humor abounds in this short story which features dogs with personalities, their loving loving group of women who meet at the Bow Wow Bistro/ dog park as well as the romance between Bunny and Max.

Time To Change

Awe, it's sweet, funny, direct and to the point. Sometimes a novella is all it takes to get your point across. So glad to see Bunny's character grow as she realizes she was partially to blame also. You will smile throughout the story.

It was a sweet book. Max just wanted to be someone's first choice and there's nothing wrong in that, I liked that. Bunny was so cute and she understood she had to make chances in her life if she wanted love to enter

Bunny knows a lot about dogs but has more to learn if she wants her love life to have a man in it. I liked the dogs a lot in the story. Thankfully there is a HEA.

Loved the humor in this story. Feel it sets it apart from many other romances. Interesting setting at the Bistro. Enjoyed the characters. Good read.

sweet romance

This is a quick and easy read with our Bowser friends. Who knew backgammon could lead to romance? This is a sweet romance.

This was upsetting, especially the names, bunny cottontail, happy and golucky, mopsy. And the "cute cottontail" made me want to throw up. I felt like i was reading a romance book written by an 8 year old, their chosen 'swear' was "golly"
