I’m having a millionaire’s baby...

New Year’s Eve, a night of new beginnings.

Asher and I talked and sipped champagne. Eventually, we went up to my room at the bed and breakfast and...

Let’s just say when I left that room, I was no longer a virgin.

And that was it.

No last names, no numbers, no pressure. Something we both desperately needed.

Just a night of fun, with so much pleasure.

Until I was approached for a nanny position that I wasn’t sure I was equipped for.

And the man behind the curtain raising his best friend’s little girl was…

Asher.

A single dad unprepared for his unexpected responsibility.

A wealthy, powerful, conflicted CEO of a newspaper empire on the verge of extinction.

And the father of the baby I just realized I was carrying...

Author’s note: CEO DADDY is a standalone single father and virgin nanny forced proximity romance novel set in our small town Crescent Cove. It has a happily-ever-after ending.

I’m not sure If it’s bc it was my mood but for the life of me I didn’t couldn’t connect with the book even though it had positive reviews.

I think this book would have been better in audio format bc it was very narrative. There was some dialogue but not enough to make me happy. Or maybe If the narrative could have been cut down by 30% of the book it would have flowed better for me.

For the storyline, the book was too long for me.

I felt like the heroine was a bit aggressive for no reason. I know she had to come across “sassy” but she was more bitchy in my opinion. The hero was a jerk. Not owning up to his responsibility bc he’s too sad about his best friend dying? Give me a break. Get over yourself and take care of the baby.

I love a single daddy troupe but I struggled a lot.

This was meatier than I was expecting. Although the characters keep joking that they are in a hallmark movie from all the romantic coincidences.

Asher is the CEO of a newpaper that is struggling in an age of internet reading.
He is also a new father to his best friend's baby, Lily, while grieving for the death of his closest friend.
Hannah is just free from raising her twin sisters after the death of their parents.
It's New Year's eve and one thing leads to another pretty quickly between two lonely people.

Now for the all the coincidences...
I won't belabor it, and I didn't mind the convenience, but it all leads to Hannah being a nanny to Lily and finding out shortly afterwards that she is pregnant by Asher.

Now the story deepens because both Hannah and Asher have hangups and problems opening up.
Lily is the glue and Asher's grandma is the facilitator. Most of the side characters were great and I liked the way Asher and Hannah find their way to love in an organic, almost bumbling way. They did communicate although Asher had a tendency to get angry when he felt off center. Both MCs are strong independent people.

The ending was kinda schmaltzy to the point of syrupy. A bit too syrupy to be honest. But it was a solid and sweet HEA.

Safety is quite good

Another sweet & steamy romance you won’t want to miss by the successful writing duo Taryn Quinn.

After her parent’s death, Hannah dedicated herself to raise her younger twin sisters. But not that they’re off to college Hannah is determined to take charge of her life by building her businesses and getting rid of her pesky V-card. Although spending New Year’s Eve alone isn’t conductive to accomplishing her goals. That is until the sexy and seductive man sitting in the same establishment approaches her with the promise of new beginnings.

Asher never could have imagined he’d be struggling to raise his best friend’s infant girl while trying to save his grandfather’s legacy. Feeling like his life is coming undone at the seams, he seeks companionship with the lonely, yet alluring woman writing in a journal on New Year’s Eve. Little does he know that she’ll flip his life on its axis even further, because one night with no last names and not complications is all it takes for their lives to be forever intertwined.

The chemistry between Hannah and Asher was off the charts and I started falling for him the moment he regretted not getting Hanna’s information the morning after. But never fear, his meddling and loveable grandmother was there to help both of them out and push them in the right direction. Even though their road to happiness wasn’t easy, they had a lot of issues to overcome, it was obvious their connection ran deep.

CEO Daddy is a standalone romance from the Cresent Cove universe by Taryn Quin. It is a sexy and sweet “oops! I’m having a millionaire’s baby” standalone romance. Told from both points of view, with a happy ending.

This new stand-alone single father romance from Taryn Quinn is a new favorite of mine by this writing duo. I’m a sucker for books where a one night stand turns into more and CEO Daddy delivered big time on many fronts in this story. A hero who was struggling personally and professionally, a heroine whose life was in flux and determined to make life work for her, ring the New Year in with a bang and so much more.

With her twin sisters off to college Hannah is ready to spend time building her business and finally finding a man to rid her of her virginity. When her parents both died, she stuck around to finish raising her sisters even though she’d been helping with that for most of her life. Now on her own, she splurged on a room at a bed and breakfast with a New Year’s Eve dinner and realizes she once again will be ringing in the New Year alone until a man walks up to her table and inserts himself into her evening and eventually her life.

Six months ago Asher’s life was turned upside down when his best friend died, leaving him to raise his baby daughter and continue to run the publishing empire left to him by his grandfather. Asher is feeling a loose ends, he feels like he’s failing both at home and at work, but something about the woman alone writing in a journal calls to him. He just has no idea she will change everything about his life, one page at a time.

The heat between these two from the start was enough to melt my Kindle, I loved how they met, their reaction to one another, their undeniable chemistry, and the fact that Asher didn’t freak out or ask a lot of questions when Hannah admitted she was a virgin. I also applaud him for making sure her first time was really, really good. I was also surprised by how out of sorts he seemed when Hannah left the next day since they both agreed no last names, no promises, no attachments, no complications.

Can I just say I love meddling family members especially when they come in the form of a totally cool and awesome grandmother who understands living in the moment? Bess was a breath of fresh air.

When a coincidence has Hannah and Asher meeting again a couple months down the road, the smooth, suave caring Asher isn’t present, but Hannah doesn’t take any of his crap from the first moment they are in the same room again together. I loved that about her, despite being several years younger than him, she isn’t intimidate, she doesn’t cower, she comes out guns blazing and give it back to him and then some. But he sees that she is a good fit as a nanny, he sees that she has good instincts, he sees that Lily is drawn to her (just like he is), and if nothing else he will do right by the little girl who is now his and he knows that despite their past Hannah is the right person for the job.

Their relationship wasn’t easy, they had some obstacles to overcome, they had a lot of small issues that blew up, and they had a bit of a communication problem, but through it all their attraction to one another simmered to a boil and in that time they began to really get to know one another something I greatly appreciated.

Filled with highs and lows, sweet times and sexy times, and family times; CEO Daddy is writing duo Taryn Quinn at their best.

That scene with her car was also just so dumb and his love confession corny and unbelievable.
This is NOT how I wanted my Christmas countdown to begin ugh!

Another slam dunk love story in the Crescent Cove universe. Hannah and Asher’s Story was sweet, fast-paced and inspirational.

Hannah lived a solitary life. Crescent Cove is supposed to give her that sense of family/friends she longs for. She has a strong sense of responsibly and at a young age had to take on a lot of it. Meeting Asher, the sexy stranger in a suit, was her moment to escape from her mundane life and live a fantasy-if only for a short time.

Asher, too, comes with a strong sense of responsibility. Running his family’s business is his dream. His primary goal is to make his grandfather proud by continuing his legacy. With that comes a ton of stress he takes on in order to keep tradition alive. But on top of that, he also caring for a young child that he has no idea how to do.

Together Hannah and Asher find their way around his newfound parenthood as well as facing the news of another baby being added to the mix.

This story was beautiful and sweet as well as sexy and serious. My take from this was to not take life so seriously. Learn to enjoy the moments. Live your truth and not to fear the unknown. Experiencing Hannah and Asher’s story was wonderful.

Its New Years Eve and Hannah Jacobs age 23 and a virgin decides to have a special dinner and spend the night at a Crescent Cove Inn. Hannah meets Asher Wainwright 32 year old millionaire owner of Wainwright Publishing. They are both alone on New Years Eve, but decide to sit together since they are the only two people there celebrating alone.

Hannah decides it time to give up her virginity and her and Asher gets it on. Its a hot and heavy one night stand. A few weeks later Hannah is dog sitting and walking the dog. She meets Bess a adorable fun loving 67 year old great grandmother to baby Lily. Bess has taken Lily out for a stroll. She is and adorable 6moth old. Bess is Asher grandmother, but Hannah doesn't know that. She doesn't even know Asher's last name or how to contact him. Bess calls Asher Snugs, so Hannah still doesn't know the relationship between the two. Bess ask Hannah to interview for her Snugs Nanny position to care for Lily. After some persuading she agrees to come an be interviewed. Well guess who Lily's daddy is? Asher.

Asher's best friend Billy died after a fall his girlfriend had died 4 months prior giving birth to Lily. Asher had become Lily's Godfather and once his best friend had died Lily had no one. Asher takes her and adopts her. I fell in love with Asher at that moment. What a great wonderful guy. At first Hannah doesn't know that Lily is not Asher's biological child. After being given and offer she can't refuse. She becomes Lily's Nanny and moves into Asher's mansion. Soon Hannah realizes she is pregnant with Asher baby.

I loved all the characters in this story especially feisty Bess. The story is very realist and the slow building of a romantic relationship between Asher and Hannah is good. There is great dialog conversations between the characters. I really enjoyed this story.

REVIEW: CEO DADDY is a stand alone, contemporary, adult , erotic, romance story line co-authored by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot. This is billionaire publisher and CEO Asher Wainwright, and nanny/independent business woman Hannah Jacobs’ story line. CEO DADDY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hannah and Asher) CEO DADDY follows in the aftermath of a one-night stand between billionaire publisher and CEO Asher Wainwright, and nanny/independent business woman Hannah Jacobs. Hannah Jacobs was a virgin, and with no thoughts about anything more than New Year’s Eve spent with a stranger, Hannah walked away without looking back. Two months would pass wherein Hannah would meet Grandma Bess, and in the ensuing melee find herself interviewing as a nanny for Bess’ great granddaughter Lily. Enter Asher Wainwright, Bess’ grandson, Lily’s father, and the man with whom Hannah had spent her glorious New Year’s Eve. What ensues is Hannah’s discovery that she is pregnant with Asher’s child; the building relationship and romance between Hannah and Asher; and the potential fall-out as Asher struggles between head and heart as it pertains to the woman who is now responsible for both of his children.

Hannah Jacobs is an independent business woman who has raised her twin sisters since the death of their parents. Never expecting to raise a family of her own, Hannah finds herself pregnant, facing a future, that may or may not include the man with whom she will fall in love. Asher Wainwright is battling to keep Wainwright Publishing in the black, having inherited the struggling business upon the death of his grandfather but a business that is close to Asher’s heart. Needing a full-time nanny for his daughter Lily, Asher finds himself face to face with a woman who continues to haunt his days and nights, a woman he never thought he would see again.

The relationship between Hannah and Asher is a surprise baby/employee-employer romance between two people who only wanted company on New Year’s Eve. A snow storm would force our couple together but a lack of commitment would force our couple apart. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Asher’s future business partner Vincent; his grandmother Bess; fire fighter and single father Austin Lancaster; as well as Hannah’s best friend Gabriela Ramos. Here’s hoping the authors have plans for Austin and Gabriela.

CEO DADDY is a fast paced, spicy and emotional story line; an engaging and realistic romance between two people looking for something more than a one-night stand. The character driven premise is imaginative; the romance is captivating; the characters are sassy, edgy and energetic. CEO DADDY is a heartwarming and encouraging story.

I managed to delete my review - joy! Here is what I managed to save:
-----

I'll be honest - I picked this up because the baby on the cover was the cutest thing ever and my rotted brain thought - hot guy with a tattoo and a baby - this could be the shot of hot sugar I need while I travel and get bored (legal agreements are evil so don't read them while travelling). I've not read anything by the author before but thought the premise was cute.

Unfortunately, this book was a little unevenly paced and there was little chemistry and wit between the leads which means I've already … [rest is lost :( ]

When I read the blurb for CEO Daddy I was excited and couldn't wait to read it.....single dad/surprise pregnancy/virgin/age gap? Some of my favorite tropes! Taryn Quinn slayed it!! This book is A-MAZ-ING!!!

CEO Daddy is set in Crescent Cove. You know, the place that has a run on pregnant women? It's where Asher and Hannah meet when New Year's Eve and spend one steamy night together. Where do I start with these two? Asher, 32, is a single father to Lily, who he adopted after his best friend died. He's struggling with feeling like a good father to her. He's also struggling with keeping his family's newspaper running in this day of internet access. There is so much on his plate when he meets Hannah on New Year's Eve. Hannah, 23, is feeling alone and unsettled. She finished raising her younger sisters after their parents died and it trying to get her boxed meal business off the ground It was a perfect night. A hot and steamy night, meant to be one night.

Alas, fate had something else in mind for these two and puts Hannah in the path of Asher's grandma. Who, unbeknownst to Hannah interviews her for a nanny position. Lily's nanny. All bets are off once Asher sees who the new nanny is!

From that point on this book hit me in all the feels!!! The banter between these two had me laughing often but with the baggage these two have, they also had me shedding a tear or two. One thing they definitely had going for them, and did from the get go, is chemistry!! Off the charts, hot and steamy, chemistry.

This book is a must read!! It is a standalone and can be read without having read any of the other books in the Crescent Cove series.

Read 2: This wasn’t on my re-read list but I was in the mood for an unexpected parenthood read and came across this one. I gave it four stars during the first read and I’d say that holds true at four stars. But I don’t think I’ll pick this one up again even if I’m in the mood for the trope. Twice was enough.

Solid single dad romance. It's also an age gap but I don't feel like that factored into it much. I liked both MCs and I really like how Asher took on Lily when his Best Friend died. I loved how they were building this unconventional family together. Even though this was a standalone you can definitely tell this definitely took place in a series world. You had a feeling that all these townspeople you met had or will have their own stories. I also thought it was pretty funny how they kept saying there was something in the water because everyone there was having a baby. I can only imagine that the series is FILLED with babies. Overall I'd recommend this book.

Crescent Cove is Single Daddy City?!

I feel like I’ve hit the Single Daddy jackpot with Taryn Quinn! Could there truly be something in the water in Crescent Cove?!

Single Daddy is my favourite trope and Quinn does not disappoint. Hannah and Asher are perfect and this book is well written and kept me engaged. I’m onto book two and plan to read the entire series!

Thank you for this genius collection!

Again, I can't say I'm impressed.
Scratch that, this was such a dull book. If you call sex and call it love chemistry then you'll definitely find this interesting, but apart from them going at it like rabbits every chapter. There were no other moments to indicate these two fell in love.
But I liked the idea of the plot, it needs more but it does have potential

Tropey and cheesy, but very light with zero angst.

Too many references to the storyline being "like a Hallmark movie".

I read it to the end, but confess to skimming a fair bit. Meh.

This book contains descriptive love scenes.

The authors offered us a surprise book in the Crescent Cove series that could also be read as a standalone. Things don't go as expected, but this romance is one that left me sighing.

Review
New Year's Eve. A bad Tinder date, eating alone one the one night Hannah wanted to be special, oh, and to lose her virginity. Instead she sits in the inns dining room eating alone, journaling and becoming depressed on the state of her life. When she asks about champagne a deep voice tells the inns owner they will take the bottle and the lemon bars. Seduction begins the moment he introduces himself (first name only) and ends in the morning with the virginity card being taken away. The two split sort of on bad terms as Hannah intends this to be only one night and Asher realizes she is going to keep it that way. That's fine because he doesn't have time in his life for a woman.

Ashe finds the evening to be wonderful, but he also knows his life isn't conductive for a relationship. His best friend passed away and now he is the guardian of a baby girl, Lily. His newspaper business is having problems in the day and age where people don't read them. Working ridiculous hours, his grandmother helps as much as possible, but even she has a life. The solution a nanny.

Hannah thinks she wants a life alone for a while after raising her twin sisters who are off at college. Starting two businesses is on the list of things she is doing because she doesn't want an office job. When she comes across a woman walking a baby in a stroller and her dog (she walks dogs for money) becomes fascinated with the baby, she finds herself roped into a nanny position she doesn't want.

The two are surprised to find each other again, but Hannah realizes he never mentioned a wife or daughter and Asher figures she wants money....only briefly. On the start date, Hannah still doesn't think she wants the job, but she also finds out she is pregnant.

This becomes a story of people figuring out who they are, what they want and how they want it. Feeling the weight of responsibility from legacy or family wears them down and they must learn who they really are and what they want to be when they grow up...yeah, I know they are grown up.

Asher can be a total ass, but he also has a heart of gold. Hannah was young when she took on raising her sisters. Now she has to figure out what to do with her life. The one thing that confused me was where she got income while raising the sisters as her meal delivery service is just getting off the ground and her dog walking service was something new. She was a hard worker though and never once was after Asher's money. The two have to figure out where each other fit in their lives after they realize that they aren't going to be able to ignore each other.

While this is the 7th book in the series, you won't be lost. It can totally be read as a standalone. Sage and Dage have the biggest roles and even without knowing their stories you know what they are to the story.

So if you a looking for a low drama, but very introspective story, with lots of love, cute babies, fiesty grandmas and best friends..... then I suggest you read this story!

Hannah's life is hers to live now that she's got her younger sisters off to college. So what's a young, single woman to do when she's by herself on New Year's Eve? Drink some champagne and contemplate the state of her life. AND spend the night with the gorgeous guy who came over and sat with her. One night. No last names. No strings. Easy. Fun. Right?

But what about when she becomes the nanny to his goddaughter? Suddenly strings are popping up everywhere. There's definitely something in the water in Crescent Cove!

I loved CEO Daddy! It's so sweet and sexy and I absolutely fell in love with these two and their journey. Asher is a workaholic, frazzled dad trying to come to grips with his new life, and Hannah is trying to figure out her life without having to raise her sisters. They really were meant for each other. Of course they hit quite a few bumps along the way to happiness, but the way they went about getting to the other side was so fun, entertaining and downright swoony. I love the men and women of Crescent Cove and I think these two newcomers fit in perfectly!

First of all, the CDC needs to run some kind of experiment on Crescent Cove. I don't think the baby fever has anything to do with the drinking water.

But that being said, I love this whole series of standalones.

Hannah Jacobs is a little lost, and ready for the next step in her life. After losing her parents, she raised her younger twin sisters. But now they're adults off on their own, and it's Hannah that has to find her new life.

Asher Heathcliff "Snug" Wainwright is also a little lost, but for a plethora of different reasons. He's feeling unsuccessful in business, and floundering in his personal life. After his best friend died and left Lily in his care, he's been way over his head in everything. But his Grandmother has the solution. Hire a nanny to help take care of his Goddaughter.

“Just in case you didn’t know, there’s something about grief no one tells you. Sometimes when you’re grieving, you don’t have any love left to give anyone. Not even yourself. Even if you want to. Even if you’re desperate to.”

There were so many times I wanted to knee Asher right in the junk. Luckily, he made up for it in big ways. It took a while, but Asher figured things out. Probably because of his Grandmother Bess and his infant charge, Lily.

There are the requisite cameos from Crescent Cove regulars, and that's one part of Taryn Quinn books that I simply ADORE. The easter eggs for regular readers. It won't take away from anything if this is your first CC book though.

I will forever be recommending Taryn Elliott/Cari Quinn books to anyone I think will enjoy them, and I'm doing the same here.

CEO Daddy gets five missing sock stars.

The water in Crescent Cove is dangerously mischievous and ever lovingly enchanting! In this standalone of the Dirty DILFs we find that first times can definitely lead to crazy sexy love with a side of child.

Hannah is a woman on a mission and Asher is the one to make her dreams come true. Little does she know that he has some secrets of his own.

Their lives are intertwined in a way that is so brilliant that you want to cheer them on and on. The men of Crescent Cove are strong-willed, passionate and so full of vigor. And the women of Crescent Cove go toe to toe with them at every turn.

The quirkiness of each couple intrigues you and invests you into the next couple. Even if they are all standalones.

The thing I like best about Hannah is her joy of life. She has had a tough ride, but has never looked down on her luck and she is a jack of all trades with her jobs. The way she stands up for herself makes me smile, her strength is contagious. I think that’s what makes her perfect for Asher.

Asher is the epitome of sexiness. Kind of like that hidden bad boy with tattoos under the prim and proper clothes of a businessman. Makes you wonder what kind of fire is underneath ready to ignite.

Together they are the real couple working through the twists and turns of life. Taryn Quinn is brilliant in the way they delve into the couples. Hannah and Asher warm my heart. And the secondary characters bring so much light to the story.

Crescent Cove is a place I want to be...always!!! Thank you Taryn Quinn...I want more from this world always!!!

In a small town in New York, there's quite a bit of baby magic. CEO Daddy is another tale of unexpected pregnancy turning to true love in Crescent Cove, where young women of baby-making age turn up preggers even when they use protection. The magic is strong here -- and that's the charm of this series. These are stories of how pregnancy can really change a person's world view.

In CEO Daddy, Hannah and Asher are both spending New Years Eve alone, that is until Asher puts the move on Hannah at the Bed and Breakfast where she's staying. To protect her heart, she tells herself it's just for one night and when she plays that out the next morning, Asher is disappointed and a bit angry she split on him so soon.

Circumstances bring them together in a way that opens the door to a lot of potential -- Hannah ends up working in Asher's home. When she finds out that the preggers magic has touched her, it puts both of them in a very odd position. I liked the little nuances of their building relationship and they really had the hots for each other in a major way. They fit together just right, but they had to resolve a few issues first.

CEO Daddy is a very sweet story. The pace moves along quite nicely and the tension level is manageable for all the players once they figure out their priorities. There's plenty of sexy times and an adorable Lily that just made for a very nice story.

3.5 stars. Not in love with this one & have some very mixed feelings. This was a sweet story with two people coming through some emotional times as Asher has lost his best friend in an accident, leaving his goddaughter to becoming his actual daughter & Hannah taking care of her younger twin sisters, sending them off to college & leaving her to find her own way. New Year’s Eve one night stand gone askew. He needs a nanny & an unsuspecting Hannah is hired by Asher's grandmother. Is there more to them than one night?
For me, there wasn't much spark between this couple besides in between the sheets until towards the end. Not much romance, though you do see the transformations each make. Asher is a very stoic man & until he really starts bending do you see the hints of romance towards Hannah. I wasn't bored by the story but felt that nothing really happened that warranted a wow factor.

Another crescent cove surprise!
Hannah & Asher were another great couple to add to this great series! After a chance meeting on New Year’s Eve, they both decide to take a reprieve from their usual responsibilities by enjoying a no steamy, no-strings night together. Except fate intervened when Asher’s grandmother literally runs into Hannah & offers her a nanny job for Asher’s daughter. Of course, after the shock of seeing each other again wears off these two can’t deny that what they shared was something more. I loved the chemistry & banter between these two lonely people as they discovered that their unexpected connection lead to love and family.
