Well “Island Manager” is somewhat a refreshing slowburn romance shoujo which involves our FL Komatsu being stuck on a secluded island with her unpredictable boss, Kotou. The stupid reason for why they were stuck on the island in the first place was because a boar interrupted their company nature trail trip and then a huge wave swept them away…… yeah that pretty much happened……
Anyways they make their island as their “division” in order for them to continue working rather than twiddling their thumbs the whole time they are stuck on the island (doesn’t explain exactly how long they are on the island). The pair of them have an odd relationship with their silly shenanigans (especially using a condom as a bandage wtf) involving cursey words. They aren’t on their own for long as they were three side characters who were also stranded and apparently work in the same company. They were annoying at times by trying to break the leads apart but failed (thankfully).
Yeah overall it’s a nice simple shoujo with funnies and gorgeous art what can I say?

This is a cute and funny slow burn romance between Kotou an office manager and his klutzy and lazy co-worker Komatsu (Koma). This first volume opens with the 2 of them stranded on an uninhabited island. The shelter is solved with a cave and Kotou has a good system for obtaining water and he captures fish. By taking care of the essentials easily the story can focus more on the slow burn romance...
half way into the book 2 more of their co-workers wash up on the shore in a boat and at first I was disappointed but The President (of the company) adds a lot of insight into Kotou's past as he knew his mother and him as a child.
The idea of Kotou loosing his self control a bit when his tie is broken is hilarious!
3.75 stars rounded up because it makes me happy.

At first because i'm a mood reader i struggled to get past the first chapters but now... i just want more of these cuties (ml & fl) (they're also so funny)!!

Pretty funny, the translation I read was not official but it was so good. I hadn’t seen such a good fan translation in a long time.
