I loved it. Dare I say even more than the first one? The world, the characters, the stoty.....everything. The kingdoms even have their own special slang. And Kiki, she is strong, yet vulnerable, has realistic flaws but she recognises them and fights them. Even the guys were incredible. Honestly, I was a bit scared we would just look over the whole necklance thing, but no! Their relationship, their struggles were so well thought-trough, I found myself rooting for the gang more with every page I read.
However amazing the romance may be, for me the real value of this book was the fact that everyone went through a realistic, but definitely positive character development. I feel like I don't make any sense here, but I need to rant about how obsessed I became with the series. Can't wait for the next book.
