Flaming hell this book was so fast paced i couldnt keep up but that is what i loved about it! Kira (FMC) spends most of this book trying to find out about her Siren self, what she can do with her powers, trying to control them as well as her on/off relationship with Zander, Ash, Theo, Rain and Nikolai. The sexual tension with all if those guys and Kira is off the charts. Great to read especially her interactions with Theo because its definitely hands off with him. Her mother Cinderella is also truly a horrible character (i completely turn around from the fairytale) but i loved how Kira seemed to grow into herself more in this book. It made her a more stronger and well rounded character. Not taking any crap from anyone. Another cliffhanger ending too that left me shocked but its such a damn great read. Couldnt put it down!

This one had me caught between ripping my heart to shreds and raging for them to sort it out already. Its intense but at the same time felt a little high school in places. The bullying is still there but not from the guys. There is a lot of relationship drama and it hurts. Questions answered, cliffhanger and violence. Enjoyable but an emotional roller coaster. I liked all the characters but favourites are Rain and Ash. Looking forward to the next one.

Definitely better than the first. The characters were better thought out and we had a little bit more explained to us. I am interested to know what happens next.

Embrace the siren

In this book we learn more about her siren side. The guys try to be there for her but it's still hard to trust them. She will have to learn how as they go through the trials. And not everyone makes it through so they will have to learn to work together despite the issues they may have. I really enjoyed the way that the trial was described it was very easy to visualize.

Lets see what happens next

I loved it. Dare I say even more than the first one? The world, the characters, the stoty.....everything. The kingdoms even have their own special slang. And Kiki, she is strong, yet vulnerable, has realistic flaws but she recognises them and fights them. Even the guys were incredible. Honestly, I was a bit scared we would just look over the whole necklance thing, but no! Their relationship, their struggles were so well thought-trough, I found myself rooting for the gang more with every page I read.
However amazing the romance may be, for me the real value of this book was the fact that everyone went through a realistic, but definitely positive character development. I feel like I don't make any sense here, but I need to rant about how obsessed I became with the series. Can't wait for the next book.

This book was so good! Heartbreaking at times, fast paced and twists and turns around every corner. Mira and her guys chemistry is unmatched even when things are rocky. Her siren song is figured out and decisions are made. Trials are won, people are expelled, curses broke, questions answered and mates found. So many feelings were in this book that you didn't know what was going to happen. It ends in a cliffhanger but it could have been worse. Cannot wait to see what happens to her, Rain, nikolai, zander, ash and theo in the dead forest.

This book was incredible! We start off where the first book left off Kira comes back to school still feeling hurt by the loss of trust that occurred with her and the five men she had come to have feelings for. She continues to try to fight against her siren, but she knows it is only a matter of time before she is unleashed. The five men play a huge part in this. She learns more about herself through this book as well as her siren side. The twists and turns this book has were fantastic! I cannot wait until the next book! I highly recommend this series!

Buckle up buttercup, because this book is an emotional rollercoaster.

That being said, it is definitely one I'd ride again. 😉

Kira and her potential mates all grow in the second book, developing their pulls to each other.

Kira is finally learning about who she is, and letting go of some of her trust issues. Not an easy feat with where we left her at the end of book one.

Our lovely Corrie also gets some much deserved attention and happiness.

All in all, a pretty great follow-up leaving me wanting more. Can't wait for book 3 in 2020!

Decent

This is a decent Academy RH, and very slow burn. Things are moving along and the big bad is finally revealed, though it’s not who you might expect. I’m interested to see how this goes in book 3, especially since everyone in all the kingdoms want her dead.

First person, single POV, Cliffhanger, slowburn Academy RH
MMMMMF
Rating = R
Character age range = 18+

Pros:
- Secrets are revealed.
- Still loving Corrie.
- Hard choices.

Cons:
- Some parts are disjointed.
- Would benefit from multiple POV

Another good rh

I really enjoyed this story and all the characters. I feel like they were all kinda immature in that they let drama and heartache bloom by assuming things and not communicating but it's accurate for their age group and the damage they suffered as kids so it was easy to look past. I'll definitely be reading the next one

Book two was amazing

I love Kira. I swear she is so hard headed but such a softie. Her men are hot and this book will keep you on your toes! You never know whats about to happen. It is not your classic fairy tale love.

This is book 2 in a trilogy. It's absolutely necessary to have read book 1 first.

I always loved the story of Cinderella. She was my favorite princess (even before Disney made her a princess). But in this series, I absolutely HATE her!!! I despise her so much, there aren't enough words for it 🤬
But I absolutely love this series. Yes, it's only the third book of a trilogy, but still WOW.
It's incredible what the author created. Yes, she used a fairytale as the basic idea, but there is so little left of anything. She created such a wonderful world and characters. And with that, a story so marvelous.

Book one had a cliffhanger (obviously for a trilogy), but this one... OMG. Especially because of THIS plot twist. Holy moly mother of fairytales 😱

Unfortunately, there's still just a tiny bit of kissing in this book. But I think it's because it needed to. I hope it will all go in the third book now 😎
But I'm still not sure how many men Kira will end up with. Because the author's note only says, "Kira will end up with at least three love interests." 🙈 I hope for all 🤞

Kira needs to accept who she is if she doesn't want to lose control of her siren, but it's easier said than done. Her five guys lied to her, worried that she was following in Cinderella's footstep, and now they need to work hard if they don't want to lose her forever. If that wasn't enough, new truths about Cinderella's story are coming to the surface and Cinderella's stepmother might not be as dead as everybody thought.

In this book we continue with the story of Kira and her guys. I love this new fantasy world that the author created and her way of retelling Cinderella's story, by bringing elements from the Disney story we all know, twisting them into dark elements, and how those can affect generations to come.

Uuuuuggh!!

Okay, this story is so enthralling and also VERY good at ripping my heart apart and giving me boundless anxiety. While it ends in a cliffhanger, at least one MAJOR issue was taken care of giving me the chance to breathe a bit easier. Now I'm going to read that last book and maybe cry a little lol.

Surprising

This story had a surprising ending that i did not see coming. Cinderella not being able to love anyone the headmistress being the evil stepmother and the Professor curse being boken and the latest of all the main character going on the run with her bond mates

Great continuation

I love the wooing, if felt genuine compared to others groveling. Kira's strong but also vulnerable and I cannot wait to see her grow stronger. Cannot wait for the next book.

So Angsty

Book two was a rough read, not because it was bad but because it was so angsty and then so heartbreaking.

So much drama came in book two and some of it was hard to chew on. But I can’t wait to get to book three.

The cover for these books are honestly misleading to me. When I see it I think of an outdated book about damsels. Thankfully, I’m not gonna judge the book by its cover. Waiting for the next one. 👏🏾

This story was pretty good, and it was well written. I really like what the author has done with the story, it’s very unique and i like the spin she put on the fairy tales. I feel like the end of the book was pretty rushed, and it kinda left my head spinning with how much happened at one time. It wasn’t very realistic, and while the book as a whole and paranormal/ fantasy elements aren’t realistic obviously, the characters reactions and stuff like that could be more believable, in my opinion.

I received an ARC copy of the book for my honest feedback/ review. :)

I wonder if my current mood, which is partially exhausted and irritates, is influencing my review of this book. It took me a lot longer to read this than it should’ve.

I think the plot of fairytale characters is a fun concept. So I can’t for sure say if I will continue this or not. But I think this is definitely something that can be popular amongst RH readers.

Also, it’s book two and there’s been like maybe three or four kissing scenes, declarations of love, and strong infatuations. That’s a bit much since they need develop their relationship more I think.

Missed the glitterbombs this time

I'll admit, I didn't like this as much as the first book. Kira spends a lot of the book flip flopping on whether she should forgive the guys. Then she forgives them, only to push them away for "their own good." It got old. That said, I still love the characters and I'm interested to see where the story goes in book three. There's a little bit of a cliffhanger, but it wasn't too bad.
