ADULT Alpha Alien Male Sci-fi Adventure, Romance and Abduction.
This is an above average story of Drayek🐺🍆⛲🔪 an unfeeling assassin🔪 who becomes the protector and lover💘 of Olivia💃💋, an empath. When she is abducted by her own father!, he must rescue her.

THIS HAD POTENTIAL BUT THE CHEMISTRY AND STORY DIDN'T APPEAL ENOUGH FOR ME TO FULLY CONCENTRATE ON IT. WHILE I LOVED THE COUPLE PAIRING, THEIR ROMANCE WASN'T INTENSE LIKE I THOUGHT IT SHOULD BE.
DRAYEK is an Asrai assassin, supposedly deadly and unfeeling. A mission drops him into Olivia's path and he accidentally rescued her from a bad situation. She hires him once, and then twice, bringing them into close proximity for 2 weeks. Olivia is an empath. And this means that she feels too much and can also project her feelings onto others. Pair them both together and you should get fireworks. Sadly while there were sex scenes, I just didn't feel the love too much and halfway through I got a little drowsy to the point of nodding off.
OVERALL this would have been great if the chemistry was truly alive. It was there but not good enough, though I liked this mainly for the MC pairing.

Also, we get a renunion with her father... she has to figure out just what happened to her all those years ago and how her father came into play. He has to decide whether the life he has loved is enough for him after he has experienced this infuriating woman

This was a cute story just finish reading it last night. I find both MC well matched and the final HEA awesome.

What a fun series!
For an sci fi alien romance, this one is stands out! Olivia, an empath, is searching for her father and gets help in the form of an Asrai assassin named Drayek. Through their adventures together they draw closer physically and most importantly mentally/emotionally. I loved their medium burn romance and this world! I hope the two cold brothers, Gliesk and Xraek get their own books!

An assassin unconnected to his feelings fallings in love with Olivia, a girl trying to get back to her father. He rescues her from a human trafficking incident on a distant planet by pure chance. The only thing he doesn't quite fully understand is why she is able to use her emph (feeling) abilities to make him feel things he never has before in his life.

So glad this says book 1, I want more!
A self-contained, done in one story, this quick read introduces us to the Universe (some humans have empathic powers) and the Asrai species, a Spartan like race that trains their men to be part of their Assassin Corp.
Drayek is an assassin who has his emotions so firmly controlled and set aside most would assume he, and his fellow Asrai, have no emotions... but an Empath knows better, and Olivia not only needs his help, she sees in this straight forward, and honorable man, someone she can trust.
I loved watching these characters learn from one another. It is not a battle of logic vs. emotions, as it easily could have been... but finding and maintaining balance.

Drayek and Olivia
Great story with characters that you want to root for. Olivia is a empath who uses her skills to help others. While kidnapped, she is rescued by an Asrai, Drayek. Trained to feel nothing, he accepts jobs to kill if the pay is right. While on an assignment, he frees Olivia. Later, working together changes both of lifes for the better. Definitely worth the read!

The book was well written and kept your attention from beginning to end. It's packed with adventure, action, kidnapping, drama, steamy hot romance, with awesome characters? You won't be disappointed in any way and so ready to read the next book in the series.
