I swear, no one writes MC Romance quite like JIB. Each of her stories are unique to its characters and yet they all have a similar underlying theme - chaos, pain, and more love than these people know how to handle. I've been looking forward to Bishop's story ever since I caught a glimpse of him in the Leather & Lace Duet. He had let his son down in every way possible, but when he realized his son was in pain, he stepped up as a man, as a father, hoping to one day make his son feel safe, happy and loved. It didn't hurt that Bosco gave us plenty of glimpses of the characters we've grown to know and love! #PropertyOfParrish

There is something so endearing about characters who are wounded, with deep character flaws and subtle (or not so subtle) imperfections, and JIB always delivers the best of the best when it comes to broken (anti)heroes. Bishop knew he made mistakes, HUGE ones, and he suffered for them, but he wasn't the only one feeling the pain. His son had been through the worst crime against children and he wanted to heal him, make it all better. To do that, he had to be a better man, learn from his missteps, and stand by his son. Did he continue to mess up? Of course, but he's human and it's to be expected. I love that the author didn't make everything easy for him. You don't just walk into your child's life after years and suddenly everything's okay. You have to work for it and thankfully, Bishop was up to the task. His love for Connor and Charlotte made him a better person and JIB illustrated that in such beautiful ways.

Not one of my favorite books. I'm having trouble with the back and forth between the past and the present. Personally I think it would have been better if all the past would have been done and then continually worked it's way to present time.

This one has a few sad moments but it wasn't overwhelmed with them. Overall a good book if you can get away from the back and forth.

This second book in the Satan's Knights Prospect Trilogy at times broke me and the tears cascaded down my face like a waterfall. Bishop was a man fighting from the inside, trying to keep his son safe and an encounter with the reaper would be what would set this man on a path to keeping that promise to his son. A story of connections, passion and the lengths that we will go to all for the love and safety of a child. As Charlotte stands tall to fight the fight with Bishop, her past demons will at times cloud her judgement, make her question her motives but nothing will change her mind for the love that she feels. Bishop's story is heart wrenching, powerful and will have you mesmerized by every word. As you lose yourself in a story that will steal your heart, grip your soul and break the chains surrounding your emotions you will discover that not only are you #propertyofparrish but #propertyofsatansknights. Their story will show us that it isn't only the kutte you wear on your back that is important but the ones that hold your heart and love you with or without it.

When it comes to the MC world no one depicts it in a more realistic way than Janine Infante Bosco. The moment the Satan’s Knights were introduced to readers was the moment I was hooked and it’s been an exhilarating and emotionally engaging ride ever since. With this new trilogy a new group of men are making a place for themselves within the club as the club itself starts to forge a new path that I look forward to seeing more of.

Gabriel Bishop is not a good man, and he knows it, as he constantly beats himself up over his past. The only good thing he’s done is to father a sweet-natured young boy named Connor, a young boy who needs him now more than ever after it’s discovered that his uncle has been sexually abusing him. While his son was growing up Bishop was only interested in drugs and whatever deeds helped him get those drugs, but with the death of his ex he’s finally stepped up to become a real father. It’s a difficult journey though as his past hangs over his future and as his current incarceration makes it hard to prove he’s worthy of getting custody of his son. Helping him in his journey is the Satan’s Knights as they provide a feeling of safety to his son and give Bishop the means to live a clean life. With lawyer extraordinaire David Schwartz also on his side things start to look up, but it’s his paralegal Charlotte that really changes Bishop’s life. He’s immediately attracted to her and though he doesn’t think he’s worthy of her he’ll do all he can to claim her as the more they interact the more he can’t picture a life without her. Bishop’s a compelling hero, one who’s far from perfect, but who’s trying to be what others need him to be. He’s a man weighted down by guilt, a man who showed his emotions and made me cry right along with him. There’s a sensual side to him too, one that has him constantly trying to make Charlotte blush through dirty talk and subtle touches. It’s a slow burn between the two of them, a super slow journey that doesn’t combust until near the end, but it was definitely worth the wait as my tablet nearly singed my fingertips from their erotically-charged interlude. It was a journey that kept me on edge hoping Bishop would stay on the right path as I rooted for him to get his HEA.

Charlotte’s past weighs on her as well and it led to lots of tears throughout this story as she carries lots of guilt over her feelings regarding her father, feelings that came from a child’s viewpoint. Her own father was incarcerated, and died while in prison, which fuels her desire to help others in the same situation. Add in the death of her sister due to a heart condition and you start to understand why Charlotte feels so guilty over the past. Throughout the story Charlotte’s an immensely appealing heroine with a kind heart and I can easily see us as friends. When readers first meet her she’s a bit insecure, desperate to do right by Bishop. She’s a bit naive too, thrown off by Bishop’s overt flirtations, but the more they interact the more self-assured she becomes. She becomes more invested in his life, putting her heart on the line when providing a new home for Connor. Though she knows she shouldn’t fall for Bishop she can’t stop what her heart wants and it’s a journey that pulled at my heartstrings as she and Bishop fought for their HEA.

This book’s a bit different from previous Satan’s Knights stories as readers are taken on a back and forth journey with scenes that take place in the past as well as the present. The transitions between these scenes are a bit rough and made for less than smooth storytelling. When it came to the romance between these two so much of their time was spent apart. It was frustrating at times to see their romance move at such a glacial pace, but at least the wait was worthwhile in a super sizzling encounter. Before that readers got phone calls teeming with sexual tension along with small touches that made me want to scream in frustration. Along with this likable main couple readers got to meet Connor, a sweet young boy who just wants to feel safe and be with his dad. I ached for all he’d been through and cheered for all those who came to support him. I liked learning about BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) and their role was seamlessly incorporated into the story and I hope to learn more about them in future books. I also hope to learn more about Schwartz, the high class and cutthroat lawyer of the Satan’s Knights. He’s always seemed mysterious and standoffish, but here we got to see a more heartfelt side to him. His attraction to Charlotte’s cousin Gabriela was also touched on and I look forward to seeing where things go for these two very different characters as they’re already butting heads. By the turn of the final page I was once again worn out by all the intense emotions but heart warmed that more people became “Property of Parrish” as it’s a family that’s always there for you.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

One way or another, all men pay for their crimes. Some do their time locked in a cage, while others m=see their due karma without a judge or a jury. My debt to society and almost paid, and soon I'll be free to get my son the justice he deserves. Justice he wouldn't be due if only I had done my job as his father and protected him. There's just one hitch, and her name is Charlotte.
The gorgeous and completely inexperienced paralegal's mission seems to be making me a law-abiding citizen and not a vengeful person. But underneath her prim and proper facade, there is a woman begging to be unleashed. If I wasn't so bent on breaking the chains of pain bound to my boy, Id be tempted to unravel Charlotte and show her what it's like to ditch the law and walk on the wild side. And there's no time for me to succumb to her efforts to make me a decent man. I've agreed to prospect for the Satan's Knights MC, and my pretty little paralegal is about to learn there ain't nothing noble about a man who sells his soul to the Devil in the name of revenge.

This is the story of Bishop, who lost his son due to his addiction and the way he loves to rob people. He was Blackie's cellmate and has gotten him the best lawyer in the country to help him reunite with his son Connor. This book is told from the past and present and From Bishop and Charlotte's point of view. It doesn't take long for Charlotte to rock Bishops world and you get to experience them falling in love. Now for the four star reason. Jack Parrish. Oh how my heart aches because I have always always loved this character. I love that he is in the book and I usually love the way he is portrayed. Not in this one. Something just got under my skin and really bothered me about him in this book. Overall it is a great read.

Breaking The Chains is book two in the Satan's Knights Prospect Trilogy, and it is Bishop's story.

Up until now, Bishop hasn't been a good man, and he has been an even worse father. His plan is to get out of prison and rid the earth of the scum that hurt his son. Then he meets Charlotte, and all bets are off. To say the pretty little paralegal rocks his world would be a huge understatement. Due to her own painful childhood, she is determined to reunite this father and son. Is Bishop capable of giving up on the vengeance he has been planning for so long? Can he be the kind of father that Connor so deserves? I guess only time will tell.

Gah, I loved this story! It is one that will bring out all the "feels" for sure. I swear, I just wanted to climb into the book and give Connor a hug. I will warn you-this story deals with some pretty heavy stuff. It is raw, and it is rough, and that's what I loved about it! It is also why I enjoy this author's books so much. She doesn't try to impress the reader by blowing glitter out of her ass. Her talent shines through her words. She is as genuine and as real as it gets! If you haven't yet read anything by her, you are missing out. One click them all ASAP! I promise you will be glad you did!

What a wonderful emotional MC Storyline. The author did an amazing job of giving us a heartfelt, hard hitting and heartbreaking story with characters you won’t soon forget. I tip my hat to the author for a job very well done. The storyline will rip your heart to sheds and build you up just to rip it apart a time or two more. But the author has a unique way words that will keep you glued to the pages and hoping for any type of happy ending.

Bishop is not a good man. He is now in jail paying for his past. The only bright spot in his life is his small son, Connor, and a disheveled paralegal named Charlotte. But when his boy is mistreated Bishops main purpose in life is to get released, get his son back and get justice for his son. Connor and Charlotte give him a reason to turn his life around. But is that even possible for a man like Bishop with his record and past sins? What happens when his former cellmate gets the Satan’s Knights MC involved with his legal defense as well as his custody battle. Will promise made be broken? Will debts owed come at too high a price?

This is a fantastic, action packed MC story that you don’t want to miss. Highly Recommend - 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars

Where do I even begin. This book will definitely pull at your heartstrings. I felt for Connor and wanted to keep him myself. That poor boy goes through hell and back. Bishop is a father in a mission and is bound and determined to be the dad Conner deserves. He knows it's not going to be easy, and he will have to show everyone he is in it for the long haul. Charlotte is an angel who has a huge heart. The way she steps up to help these two heal is beautiful. Of course along the way she begins to heal with the help of Conner and Bishop.
This is a sweet story that is filled with heart ache and love. You will see how people can grow and change for those they love. Family is family regardless if you share blood or not. I like the way this story is written. Even though it does have a HEA the characters had to work for it.

I feel like I was blowing in the wind of the unexpected! Debra @ Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog

Ooo we what a trip this read was. You going into it with just what you read in the blurb but the book is just so much more. You are pulled in all directions of thinking about right and wrong. Justification for actions in world of black and white there is a lot of gray.

I love Charlotte so much, she is not perfect and doesn’t understand everything even about her own past. She has a heart of gold and lots of spunk.

Bishop is messed up but admits it and is trying to make it better.

Connor is just a doll who deserves all the good things that possibly come his way.

The BACA is just a phenomenal group and I love what they do and stand for.

Satan’s Knights is also an MC that is trying to go with the times.

All around a heartwarming and heartwrenching read!

Bishop if filled with moments that rip at your heart and tug on your soul. A guy that never cared about the future has suddenly seen the light and wants what he's never had. Too bad for him, just because you've seen the error of your ways, doesn't mean you get a clean slate.
Charlotte carries plenty of her own baggage from the past, when she starts a new job and is assigned to a case that hits a little too close to home, it brings all of those feelings back to the surface.
This story is about retribution, a father's love, a child's innocence and that bone deep connection that even though there are bumps in the road, if you want it bad enough, you can weather the storm and come out on the other side together, as a family. After all, they all are Property of Parrish.

Bishop has done things in the past that are deserving of him finding himself in jail but not necessarily the crime that was his downfall. All he wants to do is get out of jail so that he can protect the one person he loves who also happens to be the one person he failed to protect. Vengeance will be his and he isn’t about to be swayed by anyone and that includes Charlotte.

Charlotte is assigned to Bishop’s case and she is on a mission to reunite father and son which means not only getting him out of jail but keeping him out especially when she has her own past to deal with as well.

Full of emotion and suspense this is a story about the love and healing between three people who have all been damaged by their pasts which is affecting their present.

EXCEPTIONAL READ!!!
I love Janine's work. If you've ever read any of her books, you know she puts her heart and soul into her words. She tells a story you can't help but feel. Breaking The Chains is such a phenomenal read. You get pulled in from the very beginning. Janine's words will tug at your heart strings as Bishop seeks justice for his little boy. This is the 2nd book in this phenomenal trilogy and is Bishop and Charlotte’s story. Bishop is on a mission to get justice for his little son, and Charlotte is a paralegal who just wants to keep him on the straight and narrow. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster journey from beginning to end. This story is filled with suspense, heartbreak, and is a heart-warming and steamy read. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I recommend for all.

Wow! A heart wrenching story that tears at your emotions and pulls at your heart strings. I loved Bishop and Charlotte, their chemistry was out of this world. There also were several excellent secondary characters that added great support to the story. The writing was well developed and pulled me into the suspense of the drama and excitement, I was fully invested in the characters and their future.

I enjoyed this book very much, an outstanding read! A definite MC story you don’t won’t to miss!

We met Bishop through Blackies time in prison, and now we get his story , he was not a good person, he made choices he now realizes were the worst ones to ever make but trying to rob a place to pay for an attorney for getting his son away from his uncle was not one of them , now with the help of Jack Parrish and Blackie and also the miracle worker attorney and Charlotte Bishop might just be able to get his life back on track.

Bishops story is a tough one. I had tears down my face half the book! Bishop isn’t a good guy but things start to change when he starts a relationship with his son. Bishop is very determined but the people he cares about mean more to him than anything. Charlotte is one strong female and she herself is determined to help out Bishop anyway possible. The love for Conner might just change everyone and everything 5/5 stars a promise is a promise

A definite must read

This was an emotionally charged, intense, and intriguing story that was also heartbreaking. It was also uplifting to see the way absolute strangers were ready to step up and help, the support that was freely given, and the incredible outcome of it all. Not all stories have a happy ending, but this family chose to fight for the happiness that they had with each other and the new friends and family that showed them it was worth fighting for. It's certainly a story that you won't want to miss!

While people are quick to judge others for who they are, what they look like, and especially what they've done, what they don't consider is the circumstances that led to those decisions. There are good people who will do bad things, but that doesn't mean that they're a bad person, especially when dire circumstances happen and they feel like there's no other way. Luckily there are organizations like the BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), and numerous other organizations, as well as other MC's that are willing to help those who don't have the ability to help themselves. Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to know someone who is connected to help them, or is able to trust that others would be able to help them in their situation. However, if more people would get involved in helping others, in organizations that are there to support those who desperately need it, we could all help to make this world a better place for current and future generations.

I absolutely love the authors who involve real life situations into their stories. I know that they are fictional stories, but having these types of situations brought to life in the stories also gives others more awareness of what's truly happening in the world. It gives me hope that even if only one person decides to help others based on what they've read, that's one more person who was possibly saved.
Thank you Ms. Bosco for your outstanding story, as well as sharing your talents with us.

I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Wow this story blew my mind from page one. I love Bishop!!! This story has 2 POV and it was told so well that you can follow along and not get lost especially as it goes from present to past. I thought it made the story come alive written that way. Bishop is one of my top fav guys and I hope to see more of him he stole my heart just like Conner and Charlotte did. I love how it all played out. I did have a few moments in the story that the tears just kept coming out and I was hoping for the happy ending. It was one of those good feeling stories that you can read over and over again. I really liked how Bishop is alpha all the way but has a soft side that captures you from the start. His bad boy ways grabbed Charlotte and man was that the best ever. Janine really out did her self with a story that didn't have a super bad and action packed moment. I really like all the happy feels this story gives off. MUST READ

Everything I did lead me to you!

I just finished this amazing book and I am sitting here with tears in my eyes and a huge smile. You’ll have to read it to know why.

This book is more than just a story of a prospect for a motorcycle club, even if it’s the amazing Satan’s Knights.

Bishop and a Charlotte will grab your heart and soul and never let go. Connor will bring you to your knees. Parrish will once again make you so thrilled to be property of Parrish. Wolf, oh this man... no words. He’s comic relief, sarcasm, and true support. I feel as if I am a part of this amazing world.

You will learn about B.A.C.A. Bikers Against Child Abuse, if you haven’t heard of them you need to! I am honored to have met the local chapter where I live and they truly are an amazing organization.

I am thrilled that there is another book in this series. I definitely need more!!

Blackie's cell mate Bishop gets help

The only drawback to this story was the constant flitting backwards and forwards between the past and present. At times it was hard to keep up.
The story centres around Connor, an abused little boy, who needs all the help he can get. It carries on from Blackie's story, when he shared a cell in prison with Bishop. Promising to get Satan's Knights involved he got the ball rolling, not only helping Connor, but Bishop himself.
Being English and reading many books written and set in the USA, I shudder when I read about even fictional children meteringthe foster system. It seems harsh, unorganized and uncaring compared to my country. I don't know if what is written is true or not, but it explains why do many people help in this story.

Amazing!

Bishops story is heartbreaking! Not only is he fighting to get out of prison but he is also fighting to have a relationship with his son. When Charlotte enters the picture he feels again for the first time. As an inexperienced paralegal and a difficult boss she has her hands full. She is determined to help Bishop in every way she can. It is not easy though for Bishop to leave his past behind but when he is set to lose the woman he loves he has to act.
This story broke my heart in so many ways. At times I was just ugly crying. Bishop is definitely my favorite character in so many ways. He is trying to be so tough but deep down he is vulnerable and so damaged. There is so much more to his character. His devotion to his son is undeniable. This book will tear at your heartstrings and leave you a bubbly mess.

Breaking the Chains is Book two in the Satan's Knights Prospect trilogy. It has interconnecting characters but is a complete standalone.

Bishop has not been a good man and he's been a pretty lousy father to his young son, Connor, too. But when Connor whispers for help, Bishop's instincts kick in and he finds that he'll do anything to protect his son, even kill the man who's hurt him. Charlotte has always been the good girl, always done what's right. But one glimpse of Bishop and Connor and she knows she'll do anything to protect them even if it means doing something bad.

Oh...these two! They tore my heart up! Bishop was a bad, bad boy (but in the best way). Yet, his character
drew me into the pages right from the beginning. His enigmatic and charming ways easily had me rooting for him. Ms. Bosco did another fantastic job of having the characters evolve and grow into people you'd want to be friends with. I adored how sweet Bishop was with Charlotte but more, I loved how he become a father to Connor and not just a sperm donor. Charlotte seemed like a little mouse in the beginning but the mama bear quickly emerged and it was so cool watching her transition into the strong woman at the end.

Besides all that sexy goodness, it was so fun to spend some time with a few of my favorite past characters! #PropertyofParrish Told from dual POVs with a happy ever after. I voluntarily read and reviewed this Book.

I'm really torn with how I think about this one. I didn't really care for Bishop when he was talking about how he was in the past. It was only after you knew he got clean for is son that I thought maybe. But even then I was dubious. I did love that Connor told him about what his uncle was doing and Bishop helped get it stopped.

I was so so on Charlotte. She started off bad, ditzy in the middle, but by the end I liked her.

The thing is that by the end I was happy for all 3 of them. But for me the biggest story/star of the book was the Bikers Against Child Abuse. I really liked how that was show cased. The rest of it was meh, mostly because the drama was stuff that Bishop and Charlotte created themselves.

This story tore me up.
Bishop not ready to be a dad and living his life doing the wrong things instead of living a good life for his son.
It broke my heart to hear the emotion in Bishops voice when he talked about his son.
Connor crying about missing his dad.
It is hard when parents are separated from this children.
Charlotte is the strongest in this book by far. If it was not for her, well lets just say a lot of things would have turned out differently for everyone involved.
Loved this book and looking forward to the next book in this series.

Breaking the Chains is the second installment of the Satan's Knight's Prospect series. Here we meet Bishop, who is for all intents and purposes a self-centered criminal. Bishop did what he wanted when he wanted no apologies. But, life sometimes deals you a blow, forcing you to reevaluate everything you thought was important. This is where Bishop finds himself when our man Parrish steps in to assist him in gaining legal custody of his son after he finds out his brother-in-law was abusing him. Charlotte, is young, impressionable and the paralegal assigned to assist with his case. Theirs is certainly not a traditional love story, but it bears telling all the same.
Once again, Janine pulls me into her world and doesn't let go. Kudos!

Great book

I've loved all the books in the Satan Knights series and this book was no exception. A father trying to save his son and do what's best for him, a young feisty woman trying to deal with a last and help a father and son heal and have a future, motorcycle clubs one against child abuse fighting for what is right, plenty of twists and turns, add in a romantic relationship and you have one fantastic story filled with interesting characters.

Bishop's story and the fact he did what he did to save his son ...was what a father should do but sadly he went about it the wrong way and suffered, causing heartache for not only himself but especially for his son cooper... when he met Charlotte aka peaches and things turned around for him.. and the men from B.A.C.A. get involved the book gets into the readers heart without sharing to much pain ... absolutely a good read...

A little pissed off

While I like Bishop and Charlotte's storyline, this book made me lose any respect I had for Blackie and Wolf. Jack Parrish is by far my favorite character and to read where Blackie and Wolf meet with Bishop and talk down about Jack just straight up pissed me off. Jack may no longer be President, but stop beating him down. Where the he'll is club loyalty. Disappointed.
