An utterly delightful walk down Memory Lane. And, yes, "Slacker" is still a brilliant film almost 30 years on. And slacker style is still fun.

Stupid. A journalist "who has never known anyone who was completely unemployed" collects a pile of journalistic twaddle & filler about a subject she is deeply, deeply ignorant of, and publishes this silly, fake book.

Avoid.

An homage to, and playful critique of, slacker culture. If you enjoyed Linklater's Slacker, read Finnegan's Wake, or were acknowledged as a regular at a place that served coffee, this book is required reading. If not, you may want to read it anyway, so as to gain a better appreciation of slackers.
