With Primhaven under relentless assault by a stream of dangerous specters, Lee Amaranth is back to doing what he does best. It’s no small feat to defend the school while simultaneously staying on top of his studies, but with Tess’s help and a bit of nightly effort, he manages… for a while.
A new teacher with an uncanny eye for detail. An old friend with a growing sense of suspicion. A test he didn’t study for. As Lee’s challenges pile up, he’s forced to get creative.
WARNING: This novel contains graphic sex scenes between the main character and numerous women/succubi/monster girls.
Hey, I'm Edmund Hughes. I like to write fantasy novels with strong erotic themes, gratuitous amounts of sex and violence, and offensive humor. If that's what you're looking for, you've come to the right place.
With Magical midterms looming, along with the threat of expulsion and the ramifications that would bring. Lee continues to defend the school from a seeming wave of spectral activity, while also investigating the death of ill-fated sorceress Gabby. Despite having uncovered the fate of his estranged sister Zoe, and the absence of his mentor Harper, Lee seems determined to get to the bottom of these new mysteries, and protect his friends.
This sometimes very steamy romp though a wonderful and colorful world of Magic and Monster girls is well worth the read. A well-written fantasy novel with imaginative characters and richly developed world possibly inspired by Harry Potter, Wraith the Oblivion, D&D and many fantasy video games. This story weaves together great storytelling and erotic hetero-male fantasy elements bound titillate and thrill.
Primhaven is infested by lots of spectres and Lee spends evenings eliminating them. A new temporary instructor starts which causes friction with Toma as it's his brother who he doesn't get on with. The students come up to midterm trials which they need to pass before continuing otherwise they will have their minds wiped. Before the trials they have a midterm break and most of the students go home. Lee stays on though and ends up fighting a lich together with Toma's brother. The students return and take the trials. Lee has help from Tess but things take a sinister turn and the book's ending becomes very unexpected.

The story moves forward in a big way in this installment. I don't really understand why Lee sticks around in the face of a very real (and avoidable) chance of "the Cropping". I know that his girlfriends (living and, well, not) are a factor, but with his major motivation of finding his sister resolved, sticking around the school is just stupid. Of course he does get laid a lot, so I guess that's his new motivation.
I won't spoil this one with specifics, but this is all a set-up for a major escalation in the story and one hell of a cliffhanger ending. I guess it worked on me, as I want to know what happens next and I'll be pouncing on the next book as soon as it shows up.
This is a excellent continuation to the series. It picks up exactly where the previous book ends. Our protagonists are once again on a mission to free the Queendom of Dale from the rule of the Light and Dark Churches. There is a lot of action and adventure and interpersonal growth. This is a very easy read and I finished the book very quickly.

This picks up a few weeks after book two and Lee is still up to his shenanigans at the school with Tess. It is a good story with a new mystery and new enemy. That ending though.
THE BEST book so far in the series. Keeps getting better and better. Love the interaction between the three main characters. Doesn’t lull. More funny and unexpected than prior books. Should be getting more attention then it is.
