Shortly after LJO’s first major event, the vivacious and musically gifted Fau joins Yuto’s ever-growing family, and Yuto finally graduates from newbie status when he moves up to an advanced job class. Meanwhile, another player succeeds in unlocking an Elemental Gate—one of four mysterious locations named after the classical elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. What wonders await Yuto when he stumbles upon another of these gates by chance and decides to embark on a journey?
I was expecting this volume to be sort of slow after everything that happened in volume 3, but I was pleasantly surprised.
This series excels at being slice of life and slow, but not so slow that you lose interest. There’s plenty of fun, cute monsters, and adventure to keep you entertained and interested.
With this, I catched up with the official English translation. Quite good to follow, except the story progressing very slow. The main character only reached lvl 25 and too much focusing on production skills which make the story rather calm.
Yuta (Silver Haired ) continues to play the game his own way and makes discoveries that confound normal players. Good read and can't wait for volume 5!
It only gets better and better! I've seriously enjoyed and perpetually looked forward to every book released in this series. I eagerly await the next release!!!
I really enjoy slow-paced, slice-of-life-ish outlier gamer stories - if gaming like this is possible irl, I'd be like Yuto. Farming, taming monster friends and exploring.
