To my taste, the biggest part of the book was quite mediocre, so I simply couldn’t give it more than 3 - 3.5 stars (even though I wanted to! I really did!). However, the essence of the story is really-really important and worth mentioning: we all might look like horrific monsters to somebody, or even to ourselves. On no account should we forget that we’re simply humans trying our best to live. So, live and let live, and spread this idea throughout the world!
