Gabriel and The Shadow Foxes are running for their lives from the forces of Archmage Maderel.
With time running out and an epic confrontation looming, Gabe will have to master his magical abilities and finally fulfill his promise of becoming the God of Magic in order to save the world.
This is the final novel in the God of Magic series.
The series overall is entertaining with fun and interesting characters. This last book feels rushed as it doesn’t flush out a lot of the potential plot points presented. I wish the series made the mc’s magic journey more involved. In the last book he notices similarities between coding and magic, and that is left in the last book as he doesn’t develop his magic any further besides the final spell. For a book titled god of magic, his magic seems secondary, and he never reaches the status of a archmage in this book let alone a god
A very enjoyable read. My only complaint is I'd liked to of read about when he became a God as I can't see him being without his mortal family. Still a very good read.
Finally Gabriel has become what he wanted. His family around him and almost an offer he cannot refuse. Hopefully there will be more of Gabriel's adventures!
An ok ending to the series. As usual per these sort of books, the MC is an outerworldly (quite literally) male that sleeps with all female chars, whereas all the male chars are either enemy or pawns.. The chars are single dimensional so you always know what they are going to say and do.
It was enjoyable overall, but had a disappointing ending.
As the last book in the series it does a very good job of wrapping up the story, the epilogue adds a neat bow giving the reader a highlights reel of what happened in the next 20 years, and a potential future. This was a really good story, and I am sure I will give it another read in a few years when I have thoroughly forgotten the story. This was a very good series and I’m a little sad it has finished even with a ‘happily ever after’ ending. It’s been a really good ride Logan, thanks for the journey.
I give the series 4 stars because I skip book 2 and the first was mediocre. Kept with it and book 3 onwards were fun and enjoyable reads wondering what will happen next. Sad the other males characters only get women in the Epilogue. The magic is barely following some loose rules and there are a number of dumb mistakes that should not happen. This is a recommend to read for Logan Jacobs readers
This book culminates the end of the God Of Magic series. I enjoyed the family group that the Shadow Foxes developed into. I like the action, humor, and romance. I particularly liked the HEA ending. The characters are well written and compelling. Even the villain. The action is pervasive, rising to a crescendo at the end. I will definitely check out other books by Logan Jacobs.
We all read books for a series conclusion like this one. Through struggles and strifes, lives will be saved and lost. But, through determination to hold onto what is right vs wrong, evil is defeated in the end and everyone gets their just reward. Such a great read!
This was an excellent end to this series. I'm terribly sad it has come to an end. But the adventure story and characters Will stay with me, it was unique interesting and entertaining at every turn!
Are you serious. It's like the author got sick of writing this series and just ended it. I really enjoy this author and his writings I am just shocked to see there won't be another book.
A very well done series!! A very long journey of action, comedy, and romance! Loved the ending! Which I hope can be made in paperback! Thank you very much for epic story. Please continue with your trade sir! I look forward to reading more of your work!
It feels rushed like a lot was glossed over and could have maybe been at least 2 books or 3 but it just hard to explain the do so fight was kinda anticlimactic.
This has been my favorite book in all 7 of the series. Loved the ending! I am so not ready to say goodbye to the adventures and characters! So worth the read!
A slightly lackluster ending, but a fine ending none the less. I'd prefer if there had been a bit more action in the final battle. It felt a bit rushed to me.
