To stay alive, I have to communicate with the dead. And to do that, I have to add another shifter to my harem.
I've passed two spell exams so far at the elite Ironwood Academy, while in training to protect the supernatural population of Love's Hollow from outside human danger. To do so, I've been turning on the magical powers of my succubus necklace by letting two of Ironwood's handsome male students turn me on. Cade, an alpha werewolf and Jasper, a bear shifter, have given me both carnal pleasure and supernatural knowledge.
But Headmaster Thorn still has it out for me and now there's a new complication. Drew, my best friend's brother and the only ghost I've ever met, is in trouble. He's stuck reliving his death over and over, constantly falling to his doom. He needs me to save him within one week. And if I don't, the curse he put on me will pull me to my death, too.
Jacob, a tall, strong lion shifter, might have the answer, but necromancy is forbidden in Love's Hollow. He doesn't want to speak up, but I have other ways of finding out what he's hiding. With my succubus necklace, any man's thoughts are open to me as long as I open my body for them. I have no problem doing that for the stunningly gorgeous Jacob, but will my two possessive boyfriends get too jealous?
We only have a week to work the spell together to save my friend and my life, and in that week, I'll learn more about the dark side of the magic world than I ever wanted. Death magic, séances, and a boy who can mesmerize everyone simply by glancing at them all add up to a twistingly tumultuous time worse than the vertigo plaguing me. But none of my new knowledge prepares me for the real reason behind my death curse and a face I was never expecting to see.
Will I be able to save my life, and my relationships, as things at Ironwood heat up? Or will a death curse be too much for even three shifters and a witch to handle?
Ghost Trial is a new adult academy urban fantasy reverse harem romance with mature content for readers age 18 and up. You'll find a feisty, curvy heroine, hot shifter guys with magical powers and plenty of steam! You may want to read the first and second books in my Ironwood Academy series, Witch's Trial and Full Moon Trial, before this one to get caught up.
Goodness Ruby is keeping busy with 3 boys and trying to end the Death curse. I'm still confused as to why her grandmother out the curse on her but at least drew is ok now. Something is up with that headmaster.

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. Book 3 in the series is exciting, full of plots, magic, challenges, emotion - it all comes together as Ruby's challenges at Ironwood continue. She has a lovely little group of close friends and her harem is being added to. As she faces more challenges thrown at her by Headmaster Thorn it is becoming apparent that she is a very powerful witch, shape shifter, necromancer - in fact whatever Thorn throws at her she passes - with excellence. You'd think by now the guy would get the message but no, he doesn't. He keeps coming up with more and more difficult tasks for her to overcome in the hope that he will have reason to expel her. The series was interesting from book 1, but is getting more and more involved and more and more exciting with each page turned. Highly recommended read.
I’m totally loving this series. I find it harder and harder to write the reviews without giving anything away. Ruby is getting stronger by the page. Her adventures and trials are getting more and more difficult. Her harem of guys is growing still and the steam is rising too. Will she find the knowledge she needs to stay at Ironwood or will it be to far away to reach? Can the guys guide her to it? Will the headmaster let up? Who knows hopefully we find out soon.
There was another steamy number in this one! I won't say who or whom. I'm not really into spoilers. If you read the first two like I did you might have an idea!
The dark side of magic comes into the spotlight during this episode. This Mc and her succubus nature steams up the pages as she increases her harem. The plight of a ghost also comes into the challenges. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Ruby adds another to her harem. Drew is in trouble and so is Ruby. A curse has to be broken or she dies. She enlists the help of Jacob. The head master has another trial for her. Will she succeed? Good book.
I honestly enjoyed this book, it’s got a well thought out storyline and great characters. I enjoyed the twists in this book and the steam. Overall a good book.
This time there’s more going on than just the physical this time. Angie’s ghost brother, Drew, has gone missing and Ruby has a death cursed placed on her. This time the answers she need lie beyond the grave.
