Finally got around to catching up to the print editions. This volume is where the these of the series really start to take shape. Awaji Island as a whole is probably the most formative arc of the series in terms of storytelling and character development, specifically in regards to Musashi and Michiru.

This is the volume that made me love the series. We get more characters, but also a good discussion on how our human characters fight the demons. It's getting to be more like a war manga, and I love the dark philosophical discussions in this one. I highly recommend this series, it's one of the better shonen battle manga out right now.

I'm really loving the art style which is no real surprise as I loved magi's too. The story is building really nicely and that last panel has me so curious about what's coming next!
