*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I so love this series!! This one just makes it even better in my opinion. We catch back up with Lilly as she is surprised with a work trip that will make it necessary to board sweet little Aggi. A new doggy daycare/spa has come to the area becoming all the rage in a short amount time. After hearing about it a lot and talking to the owners at a dog show she decides to place Aggi there. A perk is it comes with a live webcam feed that let's you check on your pet when you want to but when Lilly looks it goes a little wonky flitting through feeds until she essentially watches a murder happen. Well of course she call her law enforcement boyfriend to check it out but absolutely nothing is found anywhere. This leads to an interesting investigation into what seems like nothing until other things start popping up as well. Full of fascinating details that will keep you guessing about what is going on all mixed up with some of the most fun dogs ever throughout the whole book. The balance of all the parts is just superb making for a fantastic read that is perfect for cozy animal lovers. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Somewhere over the rainbow ... is Carrie Whitethorne’s The Quartz Tower (Kingdoms of Oz, Book 2), full of action, adventure, complex themes, intrigue and fun. This ain’t your grandma’s Oz, even if your grandma was Dot, err, Dorothy (you know who I’m talking about) and you’re like Ella and need to fix what she messed up. The source of Kingdoms of Oz may be clear but this is so very different, and so very much fun even for a lifelong Baum fan like me. You really should read the fabulous first book in this series, The Ruby Fortress (separately reviewed), before this one to get maximum enjoyment - and beware that things are left hanging in The Quartz Tower enough that you’ll be panting for book 3, The Prism City, but this book (which you can kinda sorta read stand-alone if you insist) is worth it as it’s joyously, thrillingly fantastic. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to The Prism City.

Once again the Kingdom of Oz has not disappointed. This story is getting better as the books go by. My first impression is the mystery that surrounds Sayar now and what is going on with him. A little twist of uncertainty makes a great story and this really nails it in. Nox is a great addition and a little mystery of his own. I like how he is not on team Saya's side. I like that he is a shifter and goes around in shorts all the time. I like that he hasn't showed any real interest in being with Ella. I sure hope they come together in a firework of a scene.
Fallen has her heart and I think is so important even though he doesn't speak. I would like to see a little more of action with him, his character growing stronger even though he already is. He is the middle man and I think in the end, he will rule Oz right beside Ella like no other.

She’s back! Ellana Rose is a descendant of Dorothy, the one with the little dog who killed 2 witches during the OG Wizard of Oz. In this story we get to know the second and third members of her harem, and also get to unite many different people from many regions of Ozacia. This book was action packed, and absolutely sets everything up for the explosive final installment of this spectacular series!

An amazing second book! I could gush for hours but don’t want to have to include any spoiler warning because EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS SERIES! I love how Ella is growing in her confidence to save Oz. The allies she is making, and those who have you second guessing just where their loyalties lie. And the ending had be crying happy tears. Now please excuse me as I dive into book 3- The Prism City.

Book 2 in the wonderful series Kingdoms of Oz, The Quartz Tower picks up where book 1 leaves off where Elle is trying to unearth the truth & put right the 'world' with the aid of Fallon & (maybe) Sayer. Elle & Fallon meets new characters, we finally find out the truth behind why Fallon doesn't talk, & much more. This leaves off on a bit of a cliffy, so book 3 The Prism City is much needed.

Absolutely loving this series. Fallon is so mine. More and more is coming on in this book. Glinda is so crazy. Wow. Sayer I'm still confused on. And now Nox is added in. Storyline is getting better and better. I am so looking forward to reading the next book.

The story is a perfect mix of old Oz and new characters. I’ve not been able to put it down. Anyone who loved Oz before should read this series
