A little dragging on the mystery, but still a good read, and I'm still invested in the stories.

Come into my parlour said the spider to the fly .......

Awesome although hope they can get the 'spider' soon. A great plot of murder, treasure, manipulations and organised crime. The characters are feeling like old friends now and it's great too catch up. But which man will her young assistant choose?
The Crab Festival has caused a rift between some of the fishermen with a splinter group breaking off and led by her old friend. Now he has staggered into her tent and died from a knife in the back but not before he managed to give her a clue. Ralph wants her promise not to investigate but she can't let the image of him dying before her go. A corporation used as a front for criminal activity, gold rubles, a yacht, a scam and a young couple struggling to make a living. What does the corporation have to do with her friend's death? Was her friend running a scam and if he wasn't then what had he found? Will the answer become clear?

Remarkable book!!!!

Henrietta and Ralph had a mysterious case on their hands, even Detective Abe Page had a problem trying to fit all the pieces together.
Henri had done quite a bit of investigating on her own until she had to get Scott and Ralph , because they found out the separate cases are one big one.
Seamen that works crab, shrimp, clams and lobsters are hard workers and they are a different breed of workers.
They take care of their own.
When one of Henri,s best friend dies in front of her, that is when stuff hits the fan!
She stopped at nothing to find the answers.
You have to read for details!!!!

Another cute cozy mystery

The crab festival is in town and Henrietta and Ralph are on the case. Well two separate cases, that end up involving each other. Will a murder put the damper on the festival? Maybe, but with Henrietta and Ralph working together, I'm sure they'll save the day.

The Treasure of Friendship

Every good treasure hunt ends with finding something of value. Also a good mystery that has a good ending is a treasure. Seamus, the old salty sailor, was on to the “Big One”, whatever that was. Henrietta and Ralph searched until they found the answer, following the clues they had. Good read!

Entertaining mystery listening😆

This kindle e-book novel is from my Kindle Unlimited account book seven of twelve.

They are having a crab fish festival when a friend is murdered. She goes under cover working for the police chief. It all works out for the good and the arrest of the killer.

I would recommend this series and author to readers of mystery novels 🤔 🏘

I always enjoy Henrietta and Ralph sleuthing together—she needs to admit they’re a couple though. I think Ralph might even enjoy that lol. His son Scott was a big help in deep-searching online and coming up with info for the case which Henrietta usually ended up sleuthing out herself. She did have backup this time and the showdown wasn’t the dangerous type at least. Till next time, Hearts Grove!

This was a very fast read but it was just so boring. From start to finish. I like the characters and the settings because I am from the other side of the country and enjoy what I imagine are fictional settings/semi-fictional settings, or the real thing. I will continue the series but I just hope the next book is much more exciting than this one.

Reading Danielle Collins is like eating dessert!!

I love all the well developed Hearts Grove characters: Henrietta, Ralph, Olivia, Scott, Abe...
Following the deductions and clues is just suspenseful enough!!
Now I just wait a month for the next book in the series.

Another comfortable read

That's a compliment. You know what you are going to get in this series with enough twists to keep you engaged and guessing at the solution. Always a pleasure to bunker down and read.
