Total Surrender

Rate this book
Eighteen-year-old Millie wakes with her wrists and ankles tied. It's for her own safety, the strange doctor tells her, fangs sharp and biting his lower lip. She would be more inclined to believe him if he wasn't a vampire and isn't looking at her like she's his next meal. The more she struggles, the tighter the bindings on her are, trapping her in place while the doctor checks to make sure she's in perfect condition.

According to him, she volunteered for this weeks ago. He has her signature and a video recording of her to confirm that yes, she did ask to be tied up. It gets worse. Not only has she agreed to transform herself into a perfect Little , she has been adopted by a vampire and werewolf who are eager to bring her to her new home.

Millie thinks there must have been a mistake somewhere. She doesn't remember any of that!

...

Oliver lifts her up and into his arms. "Open," he instructs, and she doesn't even think about it before opening her mouth. He pops a new pacifier into her mouth, and she begins to suckle it immediately, relaxing in his arms as he bounces her lightly against his hip. "You're such a pretty little thing," he says. "I can already tell we're going to spoil you rotten."

She likes the sound of being spoiled. Even when her parents were alive, they hardly paid her any attention, focusing on work and earning money. He combs her hair away from her face and presses a kiss on her forehead.

"You're really a small thing, darling," he says. "We're going to have to fatten you up." He hoists her up a little higher and she squeals when that makes her feel a little like she's airborne for a second.

Oliver's not a big man, not compared to John, who's practically a giant, but he's able to carry her as easily, scooping her up with one strong arm under her diapered bottom so that her arms hug around his neck instinctively. She wonders how they're both going to fit inside her and grimaces at the thought. That's impossible.

I'm not really sure how I felt about this story. It was an interesting read...I have no problems with non con books... but this is beyond non con... this is straight up lying to the heroine by one of the heroes (anti-hero?) in this book... I know a lot of other book have the hero or anti-hero lying to the FMC in books to get them into their clutches... but I'm not sure it would equal to this extent. I don't know... I will have to think on it and see if this type of book is really for me... I just finished reading it and I'm feeling unsettled about it.. I'm going to have to think on this for a little while and see how it all settles for me, and see if I want to read anymore in this series if they are all going to be like this...

Another enjoyable read

It's sweet, the baby girl is rescued from becoming someone's meal and for her own protection is deceptively led to being adopted by two loving daddies. The Star I subtracted is for the one statement I found inappropriate and woefully unnecessary for this story "such a little slut she'll be for her daddies ". The story was going great until it reached a screeching halt with that comment by one of the daddies. It took me a minute to get back into the story.... had to bury it in order to get back into it. Otherwise great read.
