Edge of Sanity by Deepak Kanakaraju is based on his personal experiences as a budding entrepreneur. This book will guide you that how a person can achieve success as a go-getter, balance their work, and maintain a healthy personal life. The cover page designed impressively, and the title is enough to grab the attention.

Today everyone wants to become an entrepreneur, everyone has an idea, but very few people dare to execute it. Even after implementing the plan, the voyage will not be serene. One has to make difficult decisions, and let people go from both personal and professional life. This book will tell you every day challenge an entrepreneur faces and how he/she works hard to achieve their goals and face the fears.

As the content of the book first published on the author's blog; the language is lucid, and one can read whatever chapter they find more appealing to them. There are a few grammatical errors, but the knowledge one gains from the book make it easy to ignore. Deepak Kanakaraju talks about the efforts an entrepreneur puts, the time they invest in their work, and the importance of debt which will make or break your start-up.

Many times we share an idea with our closed ones and get swayed away by their opinions that it is not possible or it's crazy. If you want to be an entrepreneur, you need to share your ideas with like-minded people who help you develop your dream into reality. Trusting your instincts is the key. This book is for all the creative people who are not doing a 9 to 5 job; busy building their brand. I learned new things from this book, which help me in the long-run. If you're going to start your journey as an entrepreneur read this book. One will certainly gain something from the author's knowledge and insights. Never miss an opportunity to learn.

“Edge of Sanity: How to Succeed as An Entrepreneur without Losing your Sanity” is a book by Mr. Deepak Kanagaraju. It’s a book that I would highly recommend for the beginning entrepreneurs in India.

Interestingly, this book has reached me through my brother – yes, I didn’t buy this book. Neither somebody recommended me. My brother is currently doing his digital marketing internship under Digital Deepak aka Deepak Kanagaraju.

Like, everybody who reviewed this book in Goodreads, I too was first attracted by its very title – Edge Of Sanity, an interesting title that intrigues me to check its contents. And its cover design is equally good!

What I really appreciate about this book is its honesty and practical advice that hesitates to false motivate. With genuine knowledge gained from his 10+ years of the entrepreneurial journey, Deepak really cared to help the book readers to truly understand all the needed aspects of entrepreneurship to handle both its advantages and risks.

The book is strongly grounded in the principles of values & ethics in business, and at the same time, contents flow with the same passion to succeed greatly without any compromise.

It speaks about the patience to sustain the hardships in an entrepreneurial journey, shares important advice in spending money and handling the economy – it mainly teaches you not to shy away from asking for helps from people, as it is a necessary quality for an entrepreneur to get help and also serve back gratefully. It also encourages you to spend money efficiently, not to feel uncomfortable spending money, and shy away from speaking about it.

These qualities would truly help!

To me, this book appears to be a drop of hope in this fast competing world with self-shattering urgency. It teaches you to collaborate rather than compete with jealousy. It teaches you to give back to gain more.

Edge of Sanity - Deepak Kanakaraju - Book Review

As a business owner, you always sway between two edges of the spectrum - say zero and maximum. Deepak shares his learnings, experiences how you can remain sane while going through the grind.

• Easy, fluid, Conversational Style of writing

Deepak shares his thought process, emotional journey of building, growing his business with the ecosystem and how he grew up as an entrepreneur. The content, conversations reminds of conversations with friends in a bar or late night catchups in a resort after a long drive. Felt very friendly, authentic while reading. Immense passionate for entrepreneurship at play.

• Good content with relevant stories

Having built few thriving businesses in a lean startup model, Deepak talks about his views, experiences, best practices on all the aspects of the business team building, finance, scaling up, family and health aspects. Also along the way, guided, helped me to validate my thoughts.

• Great Tips for solopreneurs and a cool marketing tool

This book will add great value to solopreneurs, freelancers in how they can scale up their business while it would also help to build excellent trust and stickiness to his brand because of the brand value the book stands for immense value and authenticity.
