I'm the one who isn't pregnant. Yet…

Expanding my successful café was a no-brainer.

Sleeping with the contractor?

Well, mix some hormones, excellent coffee, and the romantic atmosphere of the movie Halloween, and naked stuff happens.

Yeah, Gideon is smokin' hot, as shown by the photos from that pesky camera crew that's suddenly following us around.

Say what?

Because surprise—he's a single father, and now he's the most eligible one in Crescent Cove.

Every horny woman in our small town wants a go at his tool…belt.

And then we're caught on camera—I still had my pants on, thank you—and all Hades breaks loose.

Now the little secret he kept from me isn't nearly as important as Gideon keeping custody of his daughter.

When that full moon rises on Halloween, I might finally be dropping my mask. And risking it all for love…and really good hammering.

Author's note: This romantic comedy is Macy and Gideon's story—finally!—and has a happily-ever-after ending.

The very active writing duo known as Taryn Quinn add another sexy novel to their Crescent Cove series, this time with the tale of Gideon and Macy.

After one too many disappointments in the romance department, Macy decided to focus all her energy into expanding her already successful business. That required she deal with the gorgeous contractor every single woman in Crescent Cove wanted to date. But Gideon only seemed to be interested in Macy.

Gideon was more than interested in the fiery woman, but he was also reluctant since she seemed to shy away from children. That is until his over eager eight year old pushed him to make on move on Macy. Macy can overlook the fact that she didn’t know Gideon had a daughter, but can she get over her past in order to enjoy a happy future?

OMG I haven't enjoyed sexy banter like this in a really long time. This story was fun, witty, emotional and sexy. All the ingredients for a great read. I had met Macy and Gideon in past books and always wondered about the two and why Gideon didn’t make a move. Now we know why.

Macy is woman who is passionate but also guards her heart. She has no trouble being direct and honest, loves deeply and will not hesitate to lend a helping hand to her friends and community. Which is why I had a bit of trouble with the mixed signals she sent Gideon’s way. But his alpha tendencies always found a way of handling her and I absolutely loved him.

Gideon is a protective, hardworking man who loves his daughter and will do anything for her. It was a joy to watch him with her even if I did want to give him some parenting advice. Dani, his daughter threatened to steal the show a time or two. She was absolutely adorable as were the residents of the charming small town. I can’t get enough of.

Daddy in Disguise is book #7 of the Crescent Cove series by authors Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliot. It is an exciting standalone romance, told from both points of view with a happy ending.

It pains me to say but Daddy In Disguise by Taryn Quinn just didn’t work for me. It’s taken me quite a bit of time to write the review for this book because I’ve been going over it so much in my head trying to pinpoint why I had such a hard time with this story. Normally I get a book from this writing duo and I sit down and am totally immersed in the story from cover to cover and that was not the case with this book. I put it down several times, it took me two days to get through it and that’s actually really shocking to me. So because I did analyze it so much, I’m going to just go with what I loved and what I didn’t love about this book.

Things I did not love about Daddy in Disguise — Macy, the heroine. Despite “knowing” her from other books in this series, I had a really hard time with her in this book. She was full of mixed signals and blew hot and cold throughout and I got tired of it. For someone who moved her life across the country, was a successful business woman, and had no problem speaking her mind, in this book she was either coming off as rude or shutting down and it got old really quick. Even with her back story she just wasn’t a sympathetic character to me instead she just seemed bitter and old beyond her years. Jessica, Gideon’s ex, I felt she was brought in to add unnecessary drama to the story all because of what happened to Macy in the past. Gideon was going to have an uphill battle with Macy no matter what given her stance on dating men with kids, or even kids for that matter, so bringing Jessica in just wasn’t necessary in my opinion. It was drama that wasn’t needed in what is probably one of the most drama filled books in this series. The “mystery” of the Halloween themed candy store, why was this even thrown in this book? While I was pretty sure I knew who was opening it (and my suspicions were confirmed in the Character Chart at the end), I don’t understand why it was even brought up except that it gave Macy something else to be dramatic about because it was just dropped about three fourths of the way through the story and never mentioned again. Last but not least, just too much unnecessary drama.

Things I did love about Daddy in Disguise — John Gideon, the hero. Hard working, protective, and just an all around good guy he was a bright spot in this book. Watching him with his eight going on eighteen year old daughter was priceless. Dani, Gideon’s daughter, was smart; a tad spoiled, but had a good head on her shoulders despite her somewhat absentee mother who wanted to be more friend than parent. The residents of Crescent Cove, many of whom appeared even if only briefly throughout this book added life, wisdom, and stability when things got out of control. The organic way the relationship between Dani and Macy formed and built throughout, I didn’t feel like it was rushed or forced, they had common interests and they built on that foundation.

It took me quite a while to really see things working between Gideon and Macy mainly because of Macy’s wishy-washy behavior throughout most of the book. I always felt she had one foot out the door ready to run at the first hint of a problem and that’s no way to build a relationship. While Gideon did make mistakes, I honestly didn’t think his mistake warranted the over the top grand gesture he provided. I kind of felt like Macy needed to make the grand gesture as it was her constant insecurities that kept pushing them apart. Can you tell by now I’m not a huge fan of Macy?

While I did like Daddy in Disguise it was far from my favorite in this series and probably not one I’ll revisit like I have the others. Will that stop me from being first on board to read the next installment in the Crescent Cove series? Absolutely not. Look, I read a lot and I’ve been reading these authors for going on a decade (prior to their writing partnership) so it stands to reason that every RARE once in awhile they are going to write a book that just really isn’t my cup of tea and that’s the case with this book, but their collective work contains some of my favorite books so I won’t let one book that didn’t work for me keep me from reading the next book, or the next, or the one after that. Enough said, I love these women and their work even though this book didn’t work for me.

Spoilers ahead,3.5*

Macy is the owner of the town's cafe, known for her stubbornness, low tolerance for bs and not being a fan of kids ....but those she cares about know the woman inside the hard exterior. Macy and Gideon have been circling each other for a while and in a moment of shared joy at the progress made in her restaurant she finally kisses him only to come to a screeching halt at learning he has a child........ until a social media post causes his ex to demand a change in the custody arrangement and Macy is roped in to help

Gideon's life revolves around work and his daughter, he's been attracted to Macy for sometime but they've never crossed the line until his daughter posts his picture and women and media come swarming out of the woodwork. Gideon places Macy in the role of girlfriend to save him from the attention but the damage has already been done as his movie star ex swoops back into town threatening not only custody of his child but the relationship he's built with the prickly woman he's come to love

**********
I think I preferred this series as it originally began, this one was ok enough but featured a lot of denial when this couple had already wanted each other long enough to have their shit together by now.
I liked Gideon as a dad, I liked Macy to a lesser extent though I tried to understand her after what she'd been through
I loved Gideon's daughter and appreciated her role in this book, she wasn't a prop but had a very involved role
All in all this was pretty ok but the awkward sexy times and the do I or do I not behavior of the mcs threw things off a bit for me

No cheating or OM drama
Ex drama but she didn't want Gideon back
No indication if they'd been with others in the time they've wanted each other but I highly doubt it

I freaking ADORE this series!! Each book delivers a sweet and funny love story that I love getting lost in. Macy has been an ever present character in nearly every single book and I’ve gotten to love her snarky, grumpy and feisty personality. She’s independent and demanding and occasionally scary when she has to be. Her love of all things horror and Halloween makes her my soul sister, my kindred spirit.

She and Gideon have been dancing around each other for quite some time and to finally get to watch them finally give in to all that sexual tension and incredible chemistry was an absolute treat! And she got lucky enough to get an amazing two for one deal with the sexy man. Finding out he had a child was a blow, but getting to know her and learn that she was practically a mini version of herself...that was an icing on the cake. She, too, loved all the things that Macy enjoyed and it gave them a chance to bond in their own special way.

Gah! I love the town of Crescent Cove!!

So. Much. Fun!! Daddy in Disguise had exactly what I hope for when I pick up a book by dynamic duo Taryn Quinn: lots of yummy tension, multidimensional characters, a cool setting, and enough laughs and happy sighs to satisfy any romance reader.

I’m still not completely caught up on all the books in Crescent Cove yet (I’m working on it!) but I was able to easily read Gideon and Macy’s story and know what the heck was going on. Fans have been waiting a while for these two to finally–*finally*–make a move on each other. And holy cow but it was worth the wait. Read More

After the glimpses of Macy and Gideon dancing around each other in other Crescent Cove books, I was excited to finally read theirs. It’s been obvious these two have had chemistry for a long time & I loved that they finally took a chance to act on it even if neither would admit it was more than just lust at first. Macy has always come across as a tough, no BS kind of woman and Gideon was just the man to peel back her layers. Gideon was great despite some slip ups but ultimately he was just the kind of loyal man Macy deserved. This book was different from the previous ones but no less engaging, and I loved it.

I immediately adored Macy Devereaux upon her introduction in book three, Who’s The Daddy, and have been waiting patiently for her story ever since. Okay, that’s a total lie. I’ve been freakin’ anxious for her story, craving more of her sarcastic wit and suffer-no-fools feistiness, and Taryn Quinn finally delivers in book 7. Macy is still delightfully snarky, and I couldn’t get enough.

I don’t know exactly how to describe John Gideon. He’s firm but a softy when it comes to those he loves.
He’s not an alpha, though he certainly takes charge when the moment calls for it. Thankfully there were numerous moments that called for it. Ahem... Whatever you call him, he’s a perfect match to go toe-to-toe with Macy, giving her the space to be her surly self while sensing the vulnerabilities that even she won’t acknowledge.

After dancing around each other forfreakingever, creating sparks that singed anyone within the town proper and parts beyond, Macy and Gideon finally got out of their own way long enough to put themselves and everyone else out of their misery. I’m here to tell ya that four books of foreplay were indeed worth the wait.

The population of Crescent Cove has swelled with expectant couples. So much that I had a hard time keeping track of who’s who in this current installment. After a while I gave up and enjoyed every moment with the main characters of the previous books. There were so so many hilarious and emotional scenes, which is just one of the reasons I love this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed Macy and Gideon’s story, and can’t wait for what’s next.

Gideon does have some type of manners, “if I wasn’t dirty as hell, I might ask what’s under the robe.” The man appreciates his woman's efforts in her clothing choices, "...dragged me into his chest. “I mean, the skirt and heels. Effing hot, by the way.” I liked this book, I liked Gideon.

REVIEW: DADDY IN DISGUISE is the seventh instalment in Taryn Quinn’s (Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn) contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series focusing on the town of Crescent Cove. This is contractor and single father John Gideon, and café owner Macy Devereaux’s story line. DADDY IN DISGUISE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Macy and Gideon) DADDY IN DISGUISE follows the building relationship between contractor and single father John Gideon, and café owner Macy Devereaux. Macy Devereaux is expanding her busy coffee café , and adding a horror café called The Haunt, and hired John Gideon to do the work but Macy has a bit of an acerbic and prickly personality, and is constantly pushing everyone’s buttons including our story line hero. Hoping to keep his design a secret, John Gideon will come face to face with Macy Devereaux, a woman who has starred in his fantasies and dreams. But when Gideon’s eight year old daughter posts to social media that her father is looking to find Mrs. Right, Gideon’s past comes snooping around, while Macy struggles with ghosts from the past, ghosts that force our heroine to keep Gideon in the friend zone, until one or both have fallen in love. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Gideon and Macy, and the potential fall-out when Gideon’s past demands more time with their eight year old daughter.

John Gideon has lusted after our story line heroine for as long as he can remember but as a single father his first priority is taking care of his eight year old daughter Dani. When the opportunity presents itself, Gideon and Macy take their relationship to the next level in an effort to keep the she-wolves at bay.

The relationship between Macy and Gideon is one of immediate attraction but Macy battles between head and heart when she discovers that John Gideon is a single father. Ghosts from the past haunt our story line heroine, ghosts that force Macy to walk away from the man that she loves. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Seth and Ally Hamilton (Have My Baby #1), Sage and Oliver (Claim my Baby #2), Gage and Rylee (Pit Stop: Baby #4), Veronica and Murphy ‘Moose’ Masterson (Baby Daddy Wanted #5), and Ivy Beck (Rockstar Baby #6). We are introduced to Gideon’s daughter Danielle, and his ex-wife Jessica.

DADDY IN DISGUISE is a sexy story of friendship and family; loss and love. The premise is heart warming, uplifting and hopeful; the characters are energetic and real; the romance is provocative and tender. DADDY IN DISGUISE is a wonderful and spirited addition to the Crescent Cove series.

Macy's undeniably attracted to her contractor Gideon. She doesn't want to be, and he drives her nuts, but she can't help it. And then she finds out what he's been hiding from her and it makes her even more determined to stay away from the gorgeous man. Or so Gideon thinks. You see, Macy has a stance on the most important part of his life, and she's not about to change that stance. And so these two are doomed to never quite get there despite their insane attraction to each other. But when someone does a thing, and it changes everything, Macy just might not be able to resist Gideon and the part of his life that he never bothered telling her about.

I have long been waiting Macy's story, and it more than lived up to my expectations. She's perhaps the most interesting, toughest character to reside in Crescent Cove. She's everything good a heroine should be - feisty and sassy, tough and independent, and hiding a huge heart. And the man she fell for, Gideon, is more than perfect for her, he's her equal and about the only one (plus one) who could bring out Macy's softer side, the only one(s) to bring her to her knees. I loved their story and finally getting to know Macy and what made her the tough but beautiful woman she is.

The Crescent Cove series just keeps getting better with each couple, can't wait for more!

This book was so good, I absolutely loved it!~ I've been wondering about Macy for so long that this book was more than satisfying for that curiosity.

So in this book, Macy finally gives into her desire for Gideon and is able to find her match in him. She is able to let her past pains and betrayals go and grow, not just as herself but also in her relationship to a man she's been dancing with (metaphorically) for years.

I don't want to risk spoilers but I had to stop a few times reading this and each time I had to put the book aside, I was anxious to pick it back up~ I HAD to know what shenanigans they were going to get into as well as if the deviously darling Dani had gotten into anything herself. The story was engaging and I never felt lost in it. I was so glad for the clear communication and the way they stuck together. I was also pleased with how Gideon spoke about his Ex to Dani, and was trying his best to not be 'that guy' after everything that went down, even when his Ex wasn't really deserving of it from what we found out early on. Honestly, I'm almost wondering if there's a redemption for her later on?

Sometimes a straight romance can be what you want to read and sometimes a story of a family coming together, this was both for me and I'm really happy I read it. I'm sure I'll be reading it again later before the next book comes out :)

Gideon is definitely swoon worthy!

Hold onto your seats, ladies. Gideon is the book boyfriend you’ve been waiting for! Tall, hardworking, a great dad and the abs! He’s got everything. Except a partner to share life. Luckily for him, he has an eight year old daughter whose about to fix that problem.

Macy Devereaux. Coffeemaker extraordinaire, Halloween mega enthusiast, cranky and snide loner. But there’s more to Macy than what you see from the outside. I have been waiting forever to see who finally brings Macy to her knees and exposes her soft, gooey center. You know she wasn’t born that cynical. But the reason that made her that way will definitely surprise you.

These two seriously burned up the pages with their sexual chemistry. But they were also amazingly tender and sweet at the same time. As a couple, they have it all, including a strong willed 8 year old and an old flame that just doesn’t want to die.

This was another soul satisfying book from Taryn Quinn!

I freaking loved this story! Macy is snarky and adorable and it is about time she gets her happy! She and Gideon have been circling each other for a while as he has been her handyman and now that he is doing work for her on her newest conquest, a Halloween theme cafe, things heat up. Gideon has been keeping a secret, though, of sorts, he has a daughter. Dani is 8 years old and she is literally a mini Macy, snarky but in a sweet way. Twists, turns, and lots of love to go around. Definitely a keeper and a recommendation from me!

A Sweet Romance

As with any work of these two authors this book brings to the forefront the romance factor and two people who make the most of their connections. Gideon was a contractor working on Macy’s new place and they had been fighting what’s between them for a long time…well, now is the time to give in. I really like the connection that Gideon had with his little eight year old daughter, Dani as well. So if you are looking for a sweet romance this is the book for you.

After getting to know Macy in so many of the Crescent Cove books, I was so happy to finally read her story and they she finally hooked up with Gideon. The sexual tension has been insane with them for the past two years, so HORRAY!!!!!! Taryn really knows how to get you involved with a book. Funny as hell, lots of really juicy sex scenes, great stories, and a prayer for a happy ending! This book delivers everything, must read!

I am hook, line and sinker a big fan of the Crescent Cove series. For a couple of years, Macy and Gideon have had flirty banter between them and finally they get it right. 4.5⭐|2🌶|2🥵

Do you think it's a good idea for someone who doesn't like kids to move to Babytown, USA???
I'm not sure. But that's what Macy did. Macy is "sarcastic, funny, bada**-in-all-ways". She is the biggest Halloween and horror movie fan. She loves her friends and has fun with them. But she also loves to play grumpy. She is something special.
All her friends have babies, no wonder in Crescent Cove, and they love their aunt Macy 😁
Yes, there is a reason why she doesn't like children. And I felt sorry for Macy 😞

Gideon and Macy walk around each other for over 2 years. He often works for her. Like right now he does all the work at her new restaurant she will soon open.

Something Gideon hasn't told anyone, except for a few people, is that he is a single dad. I don't understand how he managed to keep that a secret in a small town, but he did 😎
And just when he and Macy finally have their first kiss, Macy finds out about Dani.

Dani is a cute little girl. Not typical for her age but Gideon isn't a typical dad either. Or what dad would allow his 8-year-old to watch horror movies? 🙈 Dani is a little bit of a mini Macy. They fit together perfectly. Just saying Halloween, horror movies, and decorating...
And she likes to drive her dad crazy...
For example, posting a half-naked pic of him on Facebook to look for a wife for him. Which made the whole town go crazy (not just Gideon), at least all single women... Gideon is a hot DILF but without a dad bod 🥵

Gideon and Macy are soo cute. Even after their first kiss, it's not an easy love story. Macy isn't sure what she wants. She wants Gideon, but she is afraid too.
And then there is this b*tch of an ex-wife... God, how I hated her 🤬🤬🤬 She gives a f*ck about Dani, but if she can hurt Gideon then Dani is good for her.

This book is funny, but it also has sad moments. All in all it's a wonderful rom-com!
Don't miss reading ALL the bonus/short stories. You can find them on Taryn Quinn's homepage. There are a lot about Gideon and Macy 🤩

The couple: John (Gideon) and Macy

Romance trope: single dad
Series: Crescent Cove
Length: 288 pages

Plot: Gideon and Macy have been dancing around each other for a while. She's the horror-loving coffee shop owner and he's the contractor who's been working on a build for her. What the child-adverse coffee mistress doesn't know is that her crush Gideon comes with an eight-year-old daughter. He also has a famous ex-wife and a need for a girlfriend. Macy may have bitten off more than she can chew.

Commentary: I'm not sure I like the trope where someone won't "let their walls down" when all they'd have to do is tell them what's going on and the whole situation would be fixed, especially if they're complaining that the person is lying by omission (when they haven't shared a thing about their past themselves!). And yes, I know trauma doesn't always work that way. But as far as plot points go, it's just not my favorite. We spent the whole book (and most of the series, to be honest) wondering what Macy's deal was, and it turned out to be a bad boyfriend with a kid. He was selfish and sneaking and cheated and got back together with his ex. Eh, she was right to be mad and sad and all of that, but I'm having trouble believing it's the world's biggest trauma that would keep her from ever ever having a relationship again and would make her stay away from kids forever. It was a little melodramatic.

Next book in the series: My Ex's Baby

Fabulous Story & Audible Listen🎧 Captivating & Enjoyable!
Daddy in Disguise
Crescent Cove, Book 7
By: Taryn Quinn
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross

I loved everything about this book from Taryn Quinn’s writing style to the wonderful characters and storylines they created, to the fantastic duel narration performed by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I was happy to hear that Macy Deveraux owner of Brewed Awakenings was finally getting her own book, she has appeared in earlier books and you just can not help but love her, she is witty and tells it like it is. She fits perfectly in the “Crescent Cove” clan, a great group of people. She will be opening a restaurant right next to her coffee shop, she hired John Gideon to gut and renovate and remodel the place to Macy’s design. BTW I love the name of his business “Gideon Gets it Done Handyman Service” He is a single Dad to an eight year old daughter Dani, is ex-wife, Jessica, an actress who lives out of state only sees Dani a few weeks out of the year. Gideon is not happy when Jessica comes in to town claiming she wants to share custody, he vows to not let that happen and Macy will help him. Macy known to not be a lover of children was amazing with Dani, whom I adored, an eight year old going on 20, LOL! Gideon is an awesome Daddy and she is definitely Daddy’s little girl. I loved how well plays out in this book, a lot goes on, it is plotted out nicely and there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, humor, a touch of angst, some heartfelt moments and some hot and sexy ones. It is always great to catch up with some of the characters from earlier books too. Taryn Quinn, thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture and project the characters emotions, their passion and their humor into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Yet, Macy's story had to be the most hysterical!
Macy, loves all things horror, Halloween, and has enough sarcasm and snark for 15 people! She also has one liners that totally had me dying! One very strong woman, a Phoenix, actually, coming out of a life of her own personal horrors and builds a life a thousand miles away by throwing a dart at a map. Little did she's know what was in the water in the small town she ended up in.
Gideon, his last name but the name most, especially Macy calls him. Hardworking, talented, and an terrific single dad, something most know nothing about, and has wanted Macy since meeting her. But strong silent type, and a man, (explains it all), it isn't until building her restaurant things begin to heat up.
Oh and Dani his very precocious daughter, very important, this young lady is almost Macy's familiar. But ,I did say precocious, and she does something that causes havoc in Macy's coffee shop, as well as other businesses in town...from there it gets quite crazy, heated, and very amusing!.
As with all the books in this series, another great novel!
But, Macy's and Gideon's is definitely my favorite!
Can't wait to read the next, the preview had me cracking up
Sooooooooo ...
NEXT .. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I borrowed Daddy in Disguise from the Kindle Unlimited Program.

Macy and Gideon have been flirting with each other since she opened her coffee shop three years ago when she hired him to do the remodel work on her shop. Finally she grabs a first kiss and immediately finds out he is a single father.

Next his daughter posts a picture of him shirtless and it gets thousands of views and women come in great numbers to see him and get his attention. Macy and Gideon's second kiss in front of news cameras, as she claims him as her man. Dani, his daughter gets to know Macy as they enjoy their mutual interest in all things Halloween.

Gideon's ex-wife shows up to demand more time with her daughter, which is the last thing Gideon wants for Dani. Planning and opening a new restaurant, the threat of a change in the custody agreement for Dani and Macy's issues make for a fun plot with lots of ups and downs due to lack of communication. I really enjoy this series and look forward to the next book.

Such a cute book and I love the tight knit community feel.

Macy and Gideon have been dancing around each other with their snarky comments for a couple years but now that Macy has him transforming her new restaurant into her dream the two have to get along, at least as much as Macy is able to. But just when the two are beginning to set aside their differences and things are heating up (and oh, how they are heating up!) Macy finds out about the secret Gideon has been keeping. It may be more than they can overcome.

Gideon didn't mean to necessarily keep his daughter a secret, he's just a careful, protective dad. Besides, he's well aware that Macy isn't fond of kids. So what's a man to do with all the feelings he's developing for the hot, temperamental, Halloween obsessed woman?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Especially the extra Halloween With the Gideon's prologue available at the end of the ebook.

I purchased a copy of the steamy Crescent Cove, New York set novel Daddy in Disguise: Crescent Cove series book 7 by Taryn Quinn, and this review was given freely.
Finally! Not what I expected but heartwarming all the same. The emotions behind Macy’s tough façade and multiple secrets are revealed in this steamy romance filled with multiple pregnancies and drama, some of which is provided by a precious 8-year-old.
As Macy approaches Brewed Awakening’s third-year anniversary and the opening of her Halloween-themed The Haunt restaurant, single father and contractor Gideon reacts to his daughter’s public “assistance” in finding a wife by publicly claiming Macy as his girlfriend.
