As Lizbeth Dusseau, (and, yes, that is a penname) I have authored over 130 works of erotic fiction, including General Romance, Spanking Fiction, Lesbian erotica, and BDSM Romance—which comprises the majority of my titles. I began writing erotica in 1989, long before the Internet, when there were few publishers available to authors of this genre. At the time, erotica was a 'naughty little corner' of the publishing world, given almost no respect. I wrote for a handful or publishers available at the time, then in 1994, my husband and I founded Pink Flamingo Publications. Pink Flamingo grew steadily over of the next 17 years, and greatly expanded into offering a wide range of erotica subjects, and many new authors. In 2011, I stepped down from my role as Editor-in-Chief, as well as suspended my erotica writing. However, in this spring of 2013, I find myself tip-toeing back into the erotica world. I’ll have some new releases coming soon. I purchased this book as an audiobook for 99 cents. Yes, it was less than the price of a candy bar and lasted longer. The book was a very entertaining listen, especially for the price. There is a depth to this story that you don't normally get with a BDSM book. In fact, the story kept me just as engaged as the sex scenes, maybe more so. I must admit that it took me some getting used to the male narrator doing all the characters including the female roles. (I hope I don't sound like the male narrator in bed or I'm afraid my hubby would either gag me or spank me...so here is me practicing my deep bedroom voice hoping for the spanking. I digress.). The BDSM is pretty heavy at times so readers will either enjoy it or not. How's that for a profound statement? I enjoyed it...some of the SM was past my comfort zone, but fun to read about. So if you want a well written book that pushes limits, this book is a good choice.

The D/s and M/s dynamic with mild humiliation and degradation really worked for me.
The interconnected, dual storyline was interesting; two men, parallel to the other, coming from different approaches (one legal, one not) yet searching for the same thing.
I'm not sure I understood the appeal Meredith. She makes me sigh just thinking of her, and seems like sooo much work, but hey, it worked for Alan, so...
Anyone who enjoys a sterner, more dictatorial approach to BDSM will enjoy this story, and at only 95c for the audiobook, it's worth the purchase.
