Excellent fast summary of the actions of D-Day. How it was planned, pulled off, got lucky, misteps on both sides.

Reads like a Time magazine article, not surprising since much of it is based on Time reporting and photography from that historic time. Not groundbreak research and theorizing, but a good first-draft of history with simple graphics to explain the geography and progress of the landing.

A wonderful look at "the most crucial day of our times." I keep it in my library and browse through it every June 6th.
