“Anything worth having is worth fighting for.”

― Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Heaven, Texas

The conclusion to this trilogy was all I wanted and more. Both characters totally redeemed any previous misguided behaviour and, despite a few stumbles along, found their HEA. It wasn't easy and involved helicopters, a BDSM boat (oops sorry - ship) and the help of one very odd man. There were times I would have happily throat punched Nerio but I had to grudgingly accept that without his *ahem* unusual tactics Vivienne and Solomon may well have NOT gotten their act together, so he's forgiven.

This was a wonderful mix of BDSM, action and emotion packed scenes. Once started I quite simply didn't want to put the book down and I also didn't want the story to end. There wasn't a single thing I wanted to change about the story and my only wish is that I could read it for the first time again. If you enjoy really good second chance romance, a don't mind BDSM scenes in the story, then I definitely recommend this trilogy.

Wow this takes intervention to a whole new level. Must be nice to have such rich friends! Finally an end to miscommunications! For a D/s relationship they weren’t very honest with each other. Love Solomon!

The third and final book in the Paris Trilogy that finishes Solomon and Vivienne's story. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster, these two will drive you crazy at times. Their chemistry is over the top but they are constantly at each other. No spoiler here, but this is a great book. It's well-written with strong, well-developed characters and an entertaining storyline. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

The conclusion of this trilogy will leave you speechless and give closure. Vivienne and Solomon will finally open up to each other without any artifices , pretenses or outside influences. Yow will learn how Solomon got his scar and why they can`t walk away from each other. I honestly volunteered to review this story.

The "Paris" books are the second of three trilogies featuring the denizens of the (floating) Orchid Club, a super-exclusive BDSM club that caters to the Über-wealthy. While fantasy BDSM clubs are common in this genre, this one outdoes all the others in sheer gilded glitz.

Here, we get a second-chance romance between Solomon and Vivienne, who were together for five years before the stresses of her new job (as CEO of her family's corporation) and the impatience of youth ended their engagement. Five years later, they're re-united at an Orchid Club event, where they discover that they still have explosive D/s chemistry and lingering feelings for each other. But will the unresolved issues from their past get in the way of a possible future?

Let me first say that because I read all three books at once, I didn't experience the frustration other readers did. I strongly suggest doing that because none of these books is a stand-alone and the first two contain cliffhangers.

I enjoyed this set (as I enjoyed the first, Orchid Club: San Francisco: The Complete Trilogy) as the BDSM is well-described and consensual; the MC likeable, but with believable faults; the D/s isn't overwhelming since Solomon isn't a Neanderthal and Vivienne isn't a doormat (in fact, she's really only a bedroom submissive); and Ms. DuBois writes believable dialogue, characters with some depth and backstory (flashback scenes allow us to see the entire arc of the MC's relationship, including their first meeting), and just enough detail without it turning into info-dump.

Even though these books take place in the kind of rarefied atmosphere where people own islands, yachts, and helicopters (so thank god for Christiana, that breath of fresh air), I particularly like the fact that the couple's conflicts are organic and spring from competing claims on their time and attention (family matters, business obligations) rather than anything OTT (for my caveat to this, see below). Both Solomon and Vivienne learn the hard way that the great communication they share as BDSM partners has to carry over into their "vanilla" lives if they're ever going to make it as a couple. "Just talk to each other" is the over-riding takeaway from this book.

I do have four quibbles (an additional one is minor lack of continuity since Solomon was not alone when James called him in the first trilogy). First, all three contain several typos (if Ms. DuBois is using an editor, I suggest she find another one). Second, Solomon blames his hyper-successful mother for his interest in BDSM (really, authors, just don't). Third, the last third of the last book was repetitious (the couple rehashes the same argument) and just took too much disbelief for me to take seriously; there were less extreme ways to get the two to communicate. Finally, I had mixed feelings about Vivienne's decision .

4 stars. I particularly appreciated the point that the author makes about life: neither Solomon nor Vivienne is living how they imagined they would since both had different goals -- not only romantically, but also professionally -- when they were a decade younger than they do now. Since few of us can say that our lives have turned out just as we planned them, this aspect of the couple will ring true.

Side Note: I rarely look at covers, but the people on these don't look at all like Solomon and Vivienne are described.

This concludes the trilogy.

The premise for this concluding book is rather over-the-top insane.

Anyways, a fun read. But, damn, that couple was as annoying as they were entertaining. And her family... Yeesh.

A wonderful conclusion to the series

Two people who loved each other but couldn't figure out how to merge their lives have finally managed the seemingly impossible feat. They were always talking at odds with each other never really understanding what the other was saying. It took a really wild intervention by their friends to finally get them on the same page. A wonderful story.

Great book

Once again the author grabs you and keeps your attention beginning to end. Thoroughly enjoyable characters caught in a power struggle that tore them apart once. Kidnapping and therapy at the hands of relatives and friends allowing them to search thru their problems coming to a conclusion that results in finding each other again.

Third part of the paris trilogie, this is a second-chance romance between Solomon and Vivienne with a lot of SPICY scenes

The 3 stories are short but together they make a good size book. I'd suggest reading them together because the first two books end on a cliffhanger.

This is it….the end of Solomon and Vivienne’s story and whoa what a story it has been. The last part of this trilogy sees Solomon and Vivienne in a very tricky situation which they are hoping to get out of unscathed. Solomon and Vivienne are both really damaged as a couple and they seem to be really damaging to each other. Sometimes love isn’t enough and this seems to have been the premise for this story since the first chapter of the first book. Although both characters work really hard when they are together, there is just too much emotion, miscommunication and baggage to really make them meld together…..basically they destroy each other. But, love does conquer all and this book definitely does prove it.

Paris Promise’s takes you on an emotional roller-coaster, there is so much drama and angst between this Dom and his Sub, but it really works for this book. There are scenes which are utterly devastating and scenes which are so hot you need to go fan yourself to cool down. Although there are times you just want to shout at both of the characters as they just don’t talk! They speak but don’t actively listen!

The trilogy as a whole has just been amazing and Ms. Lila has done an amazing job of you really liking/disliking these characters. Her sexy scenes are scorching hot and leave you wanting more and it is great to see characters from previous books make an appearance. This trilogy is a much for any BDSM lovers and lovers of a great romance in general.

ARC received for a fair and honest review.

This entire trilogy has be packed full of twists and turns, surprises that I never would have guessed. Paris Promise started with a bang, and just kept getting stranger from there (in a good way, I promise!) Once I began this book, I had to force myself to put it down to try to put my feelings into words. Surprise, excitement, anticipation, and a bit of apprehension all combine in my gut, refusing to let go!

Solomon and Vivienne have a tumultuous past, made even crazier by miscommunications (or is it failure to communicate?!?) Neither had the confidence or patience that it took to stick it out, and make things work in their favor, when the going really got tough. Now they have their second chance, but the questions is whether that chance is to resolve hard feelings and move on, or to work through it all, and make a life together.

This book was an absolutely amazing example of how it takes more than explosive chemistry and true love to make a relationship flourish. Solomon and Vivienne had so many paths that could have blown them apart, or pulled them together. There really was a billion and one things that were working against them. This book (the entire series really) was breathtaking, everything that I want in a story. A work of fiction that absolutely pulled me in and kept me right in the middle of the story!

This is the final book in the trilogy. Friends and family have plotted to have these two kidnapped and forced to spend time together to fix their relationship. Solomon and Vivienne are kidnapped by a fellow Orchid Society member, via helicopter and whisked away to a luxury BDSM yacht/ship.

Their abductor is a forensic psychologist, who will do whatever is necessary to force them to work things out or find acceptance.

While the chemistry between Solomon and Vivienne is still off the charts, so is their pain and they have a lot to figure out about themselves and each other to come together.

I loved their happily ever after but Solomon was a weird cog in their story, sometimes he was the perfect fit and other times a jarring distraction. Lila Dubois has a talent for bringing you into a story and feeling all the torments and pleasures her characters are living.

I voluntarily received this book for an honest review. More of my reviews can be found at https://wyldheartreads.wordpress.com/

Solomon and Vivienne are an amazing couple together but history and family ties means they have quite a bit to sort out - queue a well intentioned if not slightly crazy kidnapping and some very interesting friends with connections! I fell for Solomon in the first of the Orchid Club collection and despite the emotional turmoil of his story, the ending is brilliant and the conclusion of this Paris Trilogy is beautifully written and gave me the 'feels' as Vivienne and Solomon find that home truly is where the heart is and family is what you make it.

Through the ups and downs of their tale, these two have a kept me hooked and needing to see what Ms Dubois throws at us (or rather them) as she conclude this brilliant trilogy. I love the Orchid Club and all it's intriguing characters. I hope we see more of them in the future!

Solomon and Vivienne's steamy love story comes to a conclusion in Paris Promise. Their forced togetherness on the yacht provides the opportunity for Solomon and Vivienne to finally be honest with each other and decide if they have a future together.

This is a couple who have never stopped loving each other despite all the hurt and all the years apart and it's impossible not to root for them. They are absolutely perfect for each other. This story is emotional and well-written. I do love a good epilogue and wished there had been one but either way, I am happy with the way it ended and am looking forward to the next Orchid Club story. 4.5 stars.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.

I loved, loved this story of love, trust and honesty. Solomon and Vivienne finally figured out how they could still hold on to the love they share and be together without one's needs being more important than the other. Their friends plotted an intervention to have them both brought aboard this yacht which turned out to completely a BDSM playground in the lower part, at least half of it. Her cousin and his best friend and his fiancee plan this intervention, which actually turned into a kidnapping. We will tell you that they get their happily ever after but you must read the trilogy if you haven't read the other two to get the finally book in the series, but I really hope not. I would dearly like to know what else becomes of the events in their lives. It really is good reading.

Not going to lie, I really couldn’t see how these two could work things out. I mean, seriously, TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!!!! For two people who connect so easily, so organically, and so beautifully on a primal and sexual level, you would think they would ‘get’ each other more. They do, but their automatic assumption is one of anger and self-protection. They had me so upset, because I felt all the pain they gave to the other, the fears, tears, and hopes dashed. They seriously needed professionals to come in and get these two sorted out so they could finally, finally , have their happily ever after!

BDSM, or in this specific case, D/s, as couples therapy, while not as far-fetched as it might seem to some, can be a very tricky and dangerous business. I'm quite proud of the two protagonists for making it work for them. Admittedly, it took them quite a while to drop the assumptions about each other and accept the real person behind the facades they each had built up around themselves and each other, but it was still very satisfying to experience the clear-sighted way they related to each other by the end. There were no shortcuts, no "love conquers all," and I applaud Ms. Dubois for putting her characters through the wringer. The story is so much better for that authorial wisdom.

Home is where the heart is. We've all heard it, but in the third and final book in the Paris Trilogy, it becomes reality for Solomon and Vivienne.

In every disagreement, there is his side, her side, and then the truth. When you only listen to one side, you miss the big picture. When you stop preparing your response and actually HEAR what the other person is saying, can true understanding be reached?

Paris Promise left me with chills and a happy heart. Thru book 1 and 2, I kept thinking when are they actually going to listen to the other person.... Book 3, they actually hear and a future is formed.

This series is incredible and I can't wait for more to come.

Solomon and Vivi may be the best characters Lila DuBois has written!! I love them, I want to shake them, I want them to shut up and listen to each other. But mostly through out all 3 books, I just wanted them to love each other and work. My emotions were up and down as were theirs. This is another of those books you don't want start in the evening if you need to get a good night's sleep, it's not going to happen. The whole series was well paced, characters were well written, and grabbed you from start to finish. Thanks fro another great ride Lila. Can't wait from the next installment in the Orchid Club stories.

Oh, these characters just break your heart...

Maybe an intervention will keep them from putting their foot in their mouths. Maybe not. The writing in this series has really brought Vivienne and Solomon to life, their hopes and more importantly their fears and heartbreak. Finally we get the rest of the story behind their big breakup blowout, but with the six year absence has come a lot of maturity. All of the feels come alive in this sexy, swoon worthy tale. The HEA is hard won, but so so sweet, sigh!

Paris Promise is the final book in Simon and Vivienne's story. And after the first two books, this story is needed to bring closure for both of them. Will they take their intervention to heart or just get through it? Once again we see their chemistry through their time together and just want to shake all of the sense into both of them. Lila Dubois does a wonderful job bringing these two characters to life over their three books and I can't wait to see which Orchid Club member is next to get their own story.

Lila Dubois penned a very intense and emotional conclusion to the Paris trilogy. In an unexpected turn of events along with some unconventional methods Vivi and Solomon are forced to communicate...really communicate. Honest and open communication. The two of them forgot how to talk to as well as listen to one another. Sometimes it takes blind faith and exposing oneself physically as well as emotionally. Now it's come down to this. Can they get past the hurt they harbor deep within themselves and the hurt they caused each other? The love is there but will they embrace it?

This is the third book in the Paris trilogy. There are secondary characters mentioned from the first Orchid club trilogy, but you do not need to have read that first, just a nice bonus for those who have. This story is all about Solomon and Vivienne and their possible second chance. This book picks up right where part two ended. Forced therapy has them regretting the past and asking is closure enough and is love enough for a future. Great ending!

A great conclusion to a most enjoyable trilogy. As always with characters created by Lila Dubois, the character development was awesome. I was irritated with Vivienne; angry with Solomon; sad for both of them; apprehensive when they were kidnapped; nervous that the intervention would be a huge flop; ultimately so relieved with the 'happy ever after' ending.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this final book in the Paris Trilogy. Solomon and Vivienne certainly have a complicated history with each other, and Vivienne with her family. At points, it seemed hopeless that they would be able to work through their issues. And what of their mysterious kidnapper? Who is he and who sent him to perform an intervention with Solomon and Vivienne. There were certainly many surprises and it was a very emotional read. Would be interesting to have a book/trilogy involving Nerio.

I'm very impressed with the way this trilogy ended. There are so many ways it could have gone, however I'm tickled pink with how Lila pulled it all together.

Vivi has had enough and intends to find closure with or without Solomon.

Neither one expects the kidnapping or the way it forces them to talk. Communication is key in any relationship but definitely ultra important in any BDSM relationship. Vivienne and Solomon learn to communicate.

Brilliant end to the trilogy.

Love the Orchid Club Series!!! Lila Dubois always delivers such a complex, engrossing and incredibly sensual read! From the very beginning, your attention is kept by a series of events AND emotions that keep you glued to the pages until the end. In this last part of the Paris Trilogy, Vivienne and Solomon are forced to discover not only themselves, but each other’s aspirations for their future, if there is to be a future… Absolutely Loved and thoroughly Enjoyed the read!!! Bravo Lila!!!

Love these Trilogy Series Stories – Paris rocks!!

Starts with an unlikely intervention kickoff. These two characters obviously have deep feelings for each other but may have truly compatible lives. The goal; together or apart – acceptance of the result.

Can they be romantic partners, just partners in the lifestyle, or will they walk away. An amazing conclusion to this scintillating series, I highly recommend!
