A country town's being ravished by flooding and volcanic activity. For all purposes, it's the end of the world, even if it may just be the end of the town. One person stayed behind to take care of the dead, and for reasons even the person doesn't know, until it's too late to leave. While taking care of the dead, scavenging for resources, and just living day-to-day the person writes letters to the beloved Gina to try and maintain sanity as the world seems to turn to hell.
