A career driven Julie tries to hang on to the falling pieces of her life. Though primarily a non-fiction reader, I couldn’t put down The Threshold. I found myself wishing the characters were real and quickly became emotionally invested in their stories. Meahl writes with rich imagery that’s saturated in non-preachy faith symbolism. The Threshold is believable, authentic, and compelling. I was sad to get to the last page and hope there will be a sequel! I have to know what happens next with Julie!
