There's no way Eiichi is 28, he looks 36 while Haku looks 15 at most. The plot was... Kind of there? so fast-paced and full of clichés. I like the artstyle! Really 90's yaoi influenced, with the big hands and all.
I was wayyyy more invested in Haku's father tbh, the short depiction of his past was the only part of the story that touched my heartstrings.
This manga theme was, Master and Pet, and maybe the story went a bit too fast, thinking about someone as innocent as the beast, but it wasn't bad. 4 stars.
I've read and liked some of this author's stuff. It's usually pretty goofy with a lot of sex and nice art. This one was not great imo.
It's about a beast person who's dad just died so he's out in the real world for the first time after being sheltered from it his entire life. He almost gets sold off because he's a rare species, but then he gets picked up and taken in by the seme.
The main reason I don't like this is how childish the uke is. He acts like a 5 year old. Throwing tantrums, not understanding certain things, peeing himself. His personality is like a mix of a child and puppy. I get that his dad hid him away from the world and he lived in poverty so he would be ignorant to a lot of things and wouldn't be able to read and write, but I dislike how heavily infantilized he is. It made me extremely uncomfortable. Plus there's this whole discussion of bestiality since the beast people are treated as pets so the seme is accused of it and idk it was so fucking weird. And the last chapter was the worst of it because it felt like he got mentally younger and when the seme was watching him play with children and calling them his friends it just solidified how young he presents.
I don't mind a more immature uke, but this one was just too much for me. I was not a fan.
