Infernal Sons MC #3

Hawk's Choice

Rate this book
THIS IS AN M/M ROMANCE STORY

I've loved him from afar, now it's time I love him up close.

Hawk
When he first walked through the Clubs doors, I knew that my life would be forever changed. He was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. But, his eyes were distant. He was running from something. I wanted nothing more than to throw him over my shoulder and hide him from the world. But, I decided to keep my distance. For a year, I avoided him as much as possible. Then he was attacked and everything changed. That man is mine. And, I will fight tooth and nail to keep him by my side.

“I don’t know how to be an us,” he whispers. “I don’t even know how to be a me.”

Slim
I've lost who I was. I've had to hide behind a mask in order to protect myself. Now, all I want is to shred the false persona to pieces and be who I really am. But, doing that will alert the person hunting me to my whereabouts. Then, I fall in love with a man who has me taking that chance. Now, I'm trapped and time is running out. If Hawk and the Sons don't find me, I'm going to die.

***WARNING***

***HEALTH WARNING***
This book is packed full of alpha male deliciousness, insta-something and enough over-sweetened romance that cavities are a real possibility. Keep your dentist on speed dial.

*got an arc copy for an honest review*

✨ This is the 3rd book in Carol Dawns series infernal sons mc

Let me start off by saying so far every book i have read by carol has been amazing so i knew going into this book that i would fall in love with slim and Hawk. So much amazing things happen in this book i loved the romance between the two main characters they were so perfect for each other and i was so glad that no one was judgmental when it came to slims secret (you’ll have to read the book to find out what it is 😉)
The other thing i absolutely loved about this book was the brotherly love. Hawk has a twin brother named bear and they had the most cutest scenes ever i found myself crying every time they had an adorable interaction. i am so excited for the next book in the series it will hopefully be about trigger next.
If you had not picked up this series please do these books are just so heartwarming they they are dark but they all have a happy ending 🥰😍❤️😊

I received a ARC copy for an honest review

Hawk and Slim are a perfect couple. It took Slim getting hurt for Hawk to finally show his feelings for Slim. It took courage for Slim to show the real him to Hawk and his brothers the Infernal Sons. The way this “family” shows their love and support to Slim and everyone is what true family is.

I LOVED this book and can’t wait for the next book. Hopefully it will be Tri’s book

Full disclosure, I haven't read a ton of MM romances. But the few I have, this is one of the sweetest. I know that sounds impossible considering its MC as well but trust me, it is. Carol Dawn writes some of the most deep, emotional love books around. Hawk and Phoenix's story is no exception. Phoenix has some baggage but Hawk is happy to share that burden. In fact, he is ready and eager to take care of that baggage in a very permanent way. Phoenix was obviously very concerned about revealing his true self to everyone, afraid that they will be disgusted by him. But Hawk loves everything about him and the rest of their family took it in stride. I don't want to give too much away as I feel it needs to be experienced. Hawk's Choice is a wonderful example of love is love and I am so glad I read it.

I really like this series and I'm always excited when I see that the author has published a new addition.

I was really excited for Hawk's Choice because it features a gay couple. Not many authors mix straight and gay romances in their series and I'm glad Carol Dawn mixed things up a bit.

Slim's character was absolutely lovable and he and Hawk are really sweet together. The story was enjoyable but the romance was too mushy and sweet for me, I had to roll my eyes a few times, I don't remember the previous romances being so overly mushy, but anyway..

Liked this story and I'm really curious to see who we get next ? Trigger? Brick? Ink ?

I really hope we get another abused or traumatized heroine like Rose and a tad like Bella. I'm a sucker for those types of heroines ^^.

I had read and enjoyed the first two books in this series and could not wait to read Hawk and Slim/Phoenix's story and it did not disappoint. This was another good well-written book and man these two are just fantastic together. The storyline was good and had enough going on to suck me in and keep me hooked I just did not want to put it down and ended up reading it in one sitting. This was a wonderful addition to the series and I cannot wait to read more from the rest of these guys.

I don’t read MF anymore so I skipped the first two books.
I think this is the writer’s first attempt to write MM romance and although the writing is good enough, the characters&story are so sweet it gives me cavities.
The biggest problem though is that Slim/Phoenix’s character can easily be replaced by a female character. Not because of his love of
women’s clothing and make-up of course, but because of the dynamics of their relationship.

Best kept secrets...

Are sometimes not secrets at all. Seems like Hawk and Slim's attraction falls into this category. This was a quick read with some annoying moments, but an overall good story.

I liked this one a lot.
I love Hawk, I love Slim & I love all the Infernal Sons & their women.
I thought the tension with Slim's secrets (3 of them) was well done & the villain(s) were suitably evil with evil designs on Slim. The climax of this story was excellent & I was on intense tenterhooks until the resolution.
And the epilogue was a sweet finish to the story.
The only thing I found that seriously strained my credulity was the total unquestioning acceptance by the entire MC Club of Slim's 2 personal secrets.
IMO the author wanted to write a story where Slim would be wrapped in love & acceptance for who he truly was & how he wanted to be & I think that is a WONDERFUL thing to do, especially for people who are harassed &/or tormented in real life.
BUT, (again IMO), I feel there should have been some reticence, some hesitancy that was expressed by at least one or two Club brothers initially. Not hate. Not derision or shunning, but at least some consideration &/or uncertainty would have been more believable & added more tension & depth to the story, as well as allowed character growth of the secondary characters. As it is, this read to me like an MC fairytale: beautiful, loving, uber sweet with a wicked villain but not very realistic.
So overall, even with the unbelievably overwhelming sugar sweetness of the story, I liked this one a lot.

Hawk and Phoenix/Slim's story was all about true love, acceptance and the importance of family. Hawk was perfect and such an alpha😍He was so patient and loving with Phoenix and was exactly what Phoenix needed. Hawk gave him unconditional love right from the start even knowing that Phoenix was hiding something. OMG did my heart break when we learn everything about Phoenix. But luckily for him when he ran he found his home with Hawk and the Sons.

I have been waiting for this story for what seems like forever and it was so worth the wait!!! This book was everything!!! Hawk has always had feelings for Slim but has held himself back for the past year. Slim has some secrets that he wants to share with Hawk but knows that if Hawk rejects him that it would crush him so he keeps it to himself. When Slim gets hurt badly, that is Hawk's wake up call to quit holding back and make Slim his forever. Slim can't hardly believe that Hawk is wanting him as he is and loves him for it. All Hawk wants to do is be the man to carry Slim's burdens and take care of him and love him as the man he is. I loved their story so much, it was perfect for them. I laughed, cried, swooned, fanned myself during the hot steamy times and let me tell you they were freakin hot!!! I highly recommend this story to all...such a damn good story!! I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series....cough cough Trigger's lol!! Well done!!!

Ohh my sweet boy Phoenix, I wish I could just put you in my pocket so nobody can hurt you ever again... ok, maybe I can't do that Hawk might not like it.

All throughout this series it's been pretty obvious that Hawk has a sweet spot for Slim but he had been holding himself back. It took an accident for him to finally get past all of his own personal issues to tell Slim how he actually felt, but Slim still has some secrets. He's been hiding his past and who he truly is because of wanting to keep the protection of the club... not to mention he's so afraid that once the truth is out that he will be turned out to fend for himself.
"It's really hard pretending to be someone you're not. It takes a lot of mental strength to pull off a different personality than the one that's begging to be set free. I'm so tired Hawk. I'm tired of pretending. I'm tired of hiding. I just want to be free."
If the last two books haven't shown the hearts of everyone connected to this MC, you will definitely see it in this book. Everything about this book and the family aspect of these people just made my heart so happy.

Yet another wonderful installment in the Infernal Sons MC series. I've truly been amazed at how good these books have been. My one and only critique would be that they are too short, and they end far too quickly. I really enjoyed this story between Hawk and Phoenix, and I'm so glad that Carol Dawn chose to write it, and not just skip over their story. This couple absolutely deserved to have their story told, and it was told with sensitivity yet with lots of fire and steam. Kudos to Dawn for writing such a great story.

This book!
I have been dying for this book, this couple, this story since I finished the second book in the series and saw where Carol was taking us.
This is still an MC book, and to watch these rough and tough men so easily, openly, and warmly accept Slim for his true self squeezes at my heart.
I need a Hawk. I want one. Right now. He’s perfect. He’s alpha and sweet and gets on your nerves and makes you smile. He’s perfect for Slim, and if he called him ‘sweet boy’ one more time I was going to die of absolute glee.
These stories, this club, this family. What Carol has created is gold, it’s wholesome, and it keeps you turning the pages until you’re staring at the end wondering why there isn’t more.
Another incredible book!

This is book 3 of The Infernal Sons and while reading the other two isnt necessary I do reccomend it as they are very good books.

This book was just so good it was so emotional! Poor Slim he just wanted somewhere safe somewhere to be loved for who is and Hawk was that place. You will feel so many emotions reading this book. The way Hawk loves Slim was heartbreakingly beautiful and just what Slim needs.

Slim has been a prospect for the Infernal Sons for a while now but he has a secret and past no one knows about. How the club responds just proves how much of a family these guys are.

This is a M/M story but it's so much more it's a story of love hope acceptance and finding your family and where you belong in the world.

Carol Dawn did a great job on this story. Hawk's Choice was packed with many emotions, the plot was written well. Hawk and Slim were strong characters, neither have had it easy in life. Both have had their walls up, they were drawn to each other, so much it was intense. Hawk had tried to keep his distance but when something happens, he just couldn't any longer. Slim meant the world to him and he'd do anything he could to keep him safe and loved.
Slim and Hawk were good for each other, they completed and healed each other. They were great together. I enjoyed their story.
Thank you, Carol Dawn. Great work :)

This book picks up right where book two ended. I was eagerly anticipating this book coming out. Will say this is the first MM I have read. At times I forgot it was though. Slim is afraid the tell his secrets but Hawk wasn’t having that. Nothing changes at all when the truth is finally revealed. Hawks love is still strong

Love the interactions between Hawk and his twin Bear. I love the family that Infernal Sons have for each other. The never judged Slim at all. 100% acceptance.

I literally was holding my breath at the end of the book.

Can’t wait for the next one.

This is the 3rd installment of the Infernal Sons MC books. I have been anxiously awaiting this one!
This book is about Hawk, a complete alpha male, and Slim, a sweet and innocent young man who finds his home with this group of rough and tumble MC men. This is not your typical MC romance in that the main characters are both men, however I think this is a good thing!! This book was fantastic and the relationship between these two is one of the best I've read. I laughed and cried while reading this book and it had all the feels!! This is another must read from the extremely talented Carol Dawn!!

Ms. Dawn is on a winning streak. This new author has real talent, and her Infernal Sons Mc series shows it. Some may pass on this M/M story, but that would be a big mistake. It is a love story about two individuals that have a deep love, respect and devotion for each other. This MC family is full of bikers that are not only sexy, but lethal as hell. You gotta love a tatted badass biker that melts your panties ;) I promise you’ll laugh, cry and fall in love with this group of guys. I can’t wait for book 4.

I absolutely loved this book. I know I would love Slim and Hawk together. Their love is one that is important and amazing to read. I absolutely loved the acceptance they got from their brothers and their old lady’s. The characters in this series all have amazing personalities. I laughed and cried and was amazed all through this book. I highly recommend this series and this book to all. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. I have come to love all these characters and can relate to things each have gone through in their own way.

I really do hate to write this, but I couldn't finish this book. I really expected some hardened bikers, but it seemed more as if I was in kindergarten.
Again I'm really sorry and I hope I didn't offend anyone.

I have had a crush on Hawk since book 1, so when I found out he was gay not bi, I was a little bit heartbroken.
Reading Hawks Choice and learning the love he and Slim have for each other? It made me fall in love with BOTH of them. With Slim’s past threatening to destroy their happiness, Hawk and the Infernal Son’s band together to see that doesn’t happen.

If you’re looking for a sappy sweet love story with suspenseful drama, touching on hate and bigotry with a HEA this is definitely it.

I love Hawk and Slim together. Hawk is such an alpha, but with Slim he completely changes into a kind, caring partner.

Poor Slim, having to hide his true identity from his MC family to stay safe. The twist of fate that led to him becoming who he should be, and that leading him to Hawk was a genius bit of writing. Also the way his MC family rally round is stunning, but expected.

The family twist and what they did to Slim was truly awful. But, as with all the best books, love prevails and the pair come out the other side happy and content.

Well done on another brilliant book.

Hawk's Choice is the third book in the Infernal Sons series.

I loved Slim's book. We finally get to hear his secret and the drama that follows him.
Slim has never been alone, Hawk has always been there waiting but no longer. The book has insta love, hot sexiness, MC drama and a HEA! Since Carol Dawn's first book Bear's Forever she has hit her stride! I can hardly wait for her next book to see where she takes us in the world of the Infernal Sons.

the long awaited Hawk and Slim......I honestly felt a few tears during some of the book and totally recommend. even if your not into M/M books, this one really doesn't feel like it and it is totally worth the read. it was tastefully done with the grit that you expect from a MC book. can't wait for more, Trigger is mine ya'll ;)
