Gabriel Cross has spent his entire life keeping a secret from his older brother. The tattoo artist all but inked the two words on his flesh, and yet Abe still hasn’t figured it out. Terrified of losing the only family he has left, Gabriel keeps his mouth shut, even though he hates himself for being a coward.

Ian Long loves women. After being locked up for five miserable years, he can’t wait to make up for lost time, all while trying to forget about a certain someone who took care of his needs during weekly visitations. He’s convinced himself that being with Gabriel was a matter of convenience and nothing more.

Gabriel foolishly assumed that his secret affair with Ian would continue once he became a free man. However, Ian doesn’t waste any time hooking up with the first woman he sees at his homecoming party, even doing so right in front of Gabe’s face to prove just how little he meant to him.

Jealous and hurt, Gabe knows it’s time for him to move on. He has to quit waiting for the impossible to happen with Ian and find someone who will give him the unconditional love he craves without having to hide who he is anymore.

But what neither Gabe nor Ian realize is that the woman who comes between them may turn out to be the one who finally brings them together.

This story is for mature readers only and it contains MFM and MM scenes.

MM books are usually not my thing. Well a few months back I thought I'd give it a try. I read a series about hockey players and I was hooked. So when I saw my favorite authors had written on this subject I read it right away. My favorite is also smoking hot ND bikers as well. What a treat. I knew about Ian and gabe from previous books. The cover is very hot. Both men are sexy. The story was sad at times. The woman in the story was sweet but I would of liked it she was not included when it came down to just being the two of them she was sneaky especially in the island.

I have loved the Savage Kings MC series since the beginning and this book was no exception. I have been dying to read Gabe and Ian's book since they came into the picture and let me say that their story is definitely one that I was not expecting. This was not a love story but a story about love and you can't help who you fall in love with or what the heart wants! This story was filled with so much sexual tension you could feel it page after page; needless to say, I consumed this book like my life depended on it. If you haven't started this series I highly recommend you start but be warned once you start you won't be able to stop because it's hot, hot, hot!

Wow! This book was not what I was expecting.... and I mean that in a absolute best way! I was totally expecting a MM book.... but then Quincey happened! And she was freaking awesome! She was just about the best kind of female! I was quite intrigued before this book about how the story of Gabe and Ian was going to work out.... better than I could have imagined! This MC is just so awesome! And I love that we keep hearing from previous couples and you get the idea that they are all one big happy family! There has been no book in this series that I have not completely loved! Love the Savage Kings! Loved loved loved Gabe and Ian AND Quincey! They were so great! And the building of the relationship was a totally genius way to go about things!

3.5 Stars. I love when m/f authors branch out to m/m or m/m/f and do it convincingly. This had pretty hot moments but Ian was a little tough to like at times with his struggle to accept his sexuality and how that ended up treating Gabe. While I felt the chemistry between Ian and Gabe, I didn't feel it between Ian and Quincey as strongly and I never really felt any chemistry between Gabe and Quincey, so this triad was very wobbly to me. I'm glad we got the epilogue it made it seem more steady.

3.5⭐️ I’d say MMF romance but it felt way more MM (which makes sense due to the title of the book) but I just feel like Quincey was cheated. She’s treated like crap by both Ian and Gabe in the beginning.. Gabe literally only tolerates her because he wants Ian. Yes Gabe and her make nice but I never really feel a connection between them. She’s literally just a womb for him to have kids with the man he loves that she also loves. Idk… I know all relationships are different and this could be exactly what they want but it didn’t sit well with me.

I just finished reading and early copy of Gabe and Ian and let me say that Gabe's story was worth the wait! Gabe has been one of my favorite supporting characters throughout the Savage Kings MC series. There is something about the quiet soul of this tattoo artist that has always drawn me. I loved how protective his older brother Abe was of him even though he told him that he could stand on his own. If you've been reading the series you will know all of these characters, if not I recommend reading from the beginning because that is the best way to get to know all the members of the Savage Kings. Ian has been in prison since the series started and was only a name but now we get to know the angry man that has been behind bars for 5 years and why he was locked up. Gabe is the only person that regularly visited Ian in prison and they had an incident that Gabe feels led up to Ian's imprisonment. These two men have a lot to work through but Ian is determined to close the door on that part of his past and enjoy as many women as possible. I don't want to give away any more in their story but know that it is loaded with angst, anger, heat, lust and love. It is written from multiple POV's and I recommend it completely!

I'm not sure is this book falls into the MM or MMF category but it is definitely hot. I wasn't' sure that I liked Ian in the beginning. His denial and treatment of Gabe left much to be desired. And I very much wanted Gabe to get his HEA. Watching these two work threw their attraction and desire was painful to watch until Quincey came into their lives. She ties the whole book together and gave me the softness I needed. A rough around the edges H and the two that love him, this read is steamy and different.

SUCH a good M/M romance! 😍❤

Honestly loved it, it was a complicated relationship to establish for sure the 2 leads being part of the Savage kings MCs but the RAWness of it all just made it so good (messed me up really because at times, the sobbing was getting real😅) and at the same time extremely heartfelt, the writing was really good too also have I mentioned how crazy stupidly HOT the steamy scenes were?🔥🥵

Simply beautiful.

Gabe and Ian by Lane Hart and D.B. West a five-star read that will make your year. This is number eleven in the Savage Kings MC series, this could be read as standalone, but they just bring something special together with these stories and each one builds and creates more passion in the next story. I know that some people will avoid this story as it features M/M and M/F/M and I wish they wouldn’t as this pair have created a story that will show you passion that transcends genre and shows us that what some stereotype as normal, is only normal to some and not all, this brings passion and history to an eye and heart opening story that unravels behind bars. I don’t want to tell you anything about what happens as it would spoil what a great story this is, all I will say is don’t miss this love altering story, as it shows you yet more hidden depths to the Savage Kings. Gabe has always been the quiet tattoo artist, younger brother and almost the shy one, the one I have been dying to know more about, learn how he coped with the events in previous stories involving his studio, wondering why he was the only one Ian allowed to visit, even though if you read Cooper you kind of knew, but not fully. It was nice to finally get to know Ian and see how he would react to the new dynamics of the Savage Kings as he was part of the old school before he was sentenced, how would he cope after five long years, coming out of prison and finding everything different, would he cope or would he run? Especially having to face Gabe and what they got up to in the visits. I loved the premise of Ian, ladies’ man who got desperate, but he is so much more, he appears gruff and hard and he is, but he is also so much more. But you need to read the story to find out. I will say I was surprised how much I fell for Ian; he has always come across as one I would feel bristled against, his manliness and attitude would put me off, but just because someone appears one way on paper, doesn’t mean they are. DO NOT MISS THIS AMAZING STORY.

Gabe has loved Ian for a long time. Gabe believed he was the reason Ian went to prison. Faithfully he wrote to Ian, even when Ian refused to see him. Finally, after four years, Ian agrees to see him. What follows is months of Gabe loving Ian and Ian taking what he needed. Gabe believed they would continue their secret affair, but on the night of his release from prison, Ian meets Quincey. Ian has hid his desires and his past from his brother and the Savage Kings MC, but he finds himself attracted to Quincey. This is journey through each person’s emotions. Quincey cares enough to want to see Gabe and Ian together, if that’s their hearts desire and risks everything to make sure the two men in her life have time together. Ian has to go through a lot of self-discovery before he realizes he’s about to lose everyone he loves. Are the three of them brave enough to chase their dreams? There are MM, MF, MFM scenes within the book.

I think we have all been waiting patiently for Gabe/Ian’s story and the wait was worth it. These two authors continue to weave us amazing stories with this MC and I’m going to be sad when it all comes to an end. I’ve loved Gabe, he’s sweet, kind, quiet and one can say a little shy and feels cowardly for not being able to share who he really is. Gabe has always had a soft spot for Ian and feels responsible for the time he’s spending in prison and when Ian finally relents to a visit he can’t pass it up. He would do anything for Ian and what transpires between them their lives will never be the same. Ian, he’s all man, loves women, and that’s all he wants when he gets out, but there’s something nagging at the back of his head, Gabe, and he can’t figure it out and when Quincey enters the picture, she just may be the one to show Ian the light. I will not give anymore info, this is a must read, the series is really fantastic. Their story is emotional, gripping, and you will not be able to put this book down. I found this book on BookSprout.

Gabe and Ian I have waited for this book for so long! I love both these characters and the fact that the tension was off the charts was so believable that you can't help but delve right into this story with your eyes open and your heart breaking hoping that these two can make it work without hurting each other and there families! But oh Lane and D.B. have done it with their play on words and the way they have written these characters! You will find yourself submersed like NEVER before within the Savage Kings MC hoping that outcome will be panty melting and heart racing! Never fear though because through it all you will be happy and it will be worthwhile to you and your pocketbook to invest with these authors!

I've been waiting on this one for a while now and was all worked up and ready for some hot man on man action. Instead, what I got was Ian a selfish jerk who uses people and doesn't seem to care if he hurts other people. I also got a woman thrown into the mix and while we are supposed to believe she winds up being and equal part of the relationship she feels like a beard from the beginning to the end. I don't get real passion between her and Ian and especially not between her and Gabriel. This one cold have delved so much deeper into Gabe and Abe's relationship and their past but it was just kind of glossed over. Gabe was great, I just think he deserved better.

Okay but not for me

So I am just going to say that this was not a story for me. I do not read a lot of MM stories but thought I would pick this book up as I have read and liked a couple of the previous books in the Savage Kings MC series. Plus I read a lot of MFM stories with a few MMF thrown in also. But I ended up disliking the character of Ian and then was even more perplexed by what ended up being a MMF relationship between Gabe, Ian and Quincey when it just make sense.
So for me in the end this was an okay book but not one that I would read again.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

I thoroughly enjoyed this remarkable read. Gabe and Ian's story was so worth the wait. This book was everything I had hoped for and so much more. This story was rich with deep emotions, angst, desire and intense hidden feelings. Quincey was a compelling twist that added a whole new dynamic to this epic tale of love, fear and acceptance. Quite simply, I thought that this was a brilliant romance. This is my frank, freely posted review.

2.5 ⭐️ Honestly I’m so disappointed I was looking forward to this one since starting the series but I didn’t like Quincey at all it felt like Gabriel kept getting thrown into situations he didn’t really want to be in just to please Ian. It definitely would have been better if it was just Gabe and Ian.

Ian got away with it, Gabe was a lost little lamb and poor Quincey was used as third wheel here. She deserved better and even if the author tried to make us see like she wasn't, it really felt that way. From all the books this was the least appealing to me, for Quincey of course.

I was looking forward to this book quite a bit, and it was about what I expected. Overall, I liked it. I've seen it done better, the same set up, in another MC romance, but this was decent. It went well with the series and didn't seemed "forced" just to try and diversify. The romance scenes were hot, though I felt like we never got a true threesome where all angles of the relationship were completely explored. The ending (not the Epilogue) also ticked me off and just left a sour taste in my mouth. The Epilogue tried to smooth things over with the reader, but I personally thought it didn't work. Despite all this, I thought this was a good book, definitely worth the read. I could not put this one down.

Ian has been locked up for a long time in prison. Gabe began visiting him there, and those turned into conjugal visits quickly. So when Ian finally gets out, Gabe assumed that Ian would be open to something. Wrong. On the first night, Ian ends up with Quincey. She just got out of a passionless relationship and is in nice of something to spice up her life. She instantly connects with Ian, and they start a night of MC lovin' fun in the middle of the clubhouse, and, of course, Ian ends up getting Gabriel involved, though in a heterosexual fashion. This continues, and Gabriel will take what he can get, but eventually, Ian gets pushed too far. And when Quincey realizes what's going on and tries to help, it blows up in everyone's faces. However, the three of them might just be the key to each other's happiness if they can just get Ian to get over himself.

The story was engaging and a fast read. Ian acted like a jerk for a lot of the book, but he was going through a really hard time getting out of jail and then dealing with his sexuality on top of that. Then again, he was a bit of a jerk to Quincey too, so I don't know. lol He may just be a bit abrasive. Gabe is just a sweetheart and was wonderful--very likable. Quincey didn't feel quite as fleshed out, and I wished that she and Gabe would have connected more, besides just on a sexual level. There were missed opportunities both in the romance department and for the story, but overall, it was decent. I have no idea what the authors were thinking at the end. It almost ruined the book.

NOPE! I'm not a fan of the M/M/F genre. I am open minded and can still read this but there wasn't one character in this book that was appealing on any level.
Let's start with Ian. I couldn't stand him in any way. He was nothing but a user. He used Gabriel knowing that he had feeling for him. For a year he would let Gabe visit him in jail just to get a blow job. He never acknowledged him or showed him any feelings. He got what he wanted and then sent him on his way.
Once he got out of prison his selfishness never ended. He just had to throw it in his face by having sex with Quincey in front of him and his club brothers. When Gabe tries to move on and go on a date Ian just has to throw in his face asking someone else to come in on a threesome with him and Quincey.
Gabriel just made me so mad that he would let Ian treat him that way. I know he felt like he deserved it since Ian was locked up. No fault of Gabe's but Ian never tries to let him off the hook with how he feels.
Quincey, IMO was so desperate for someone that she didn't care what she had to do to nab him. She goes to the bar to hook up with Ian but he convinces her to have sex in the bar for all to watch who want to. Then he convinces her to have the threesome with Gabriel.
What I am really trying hard to comprehend is how these authors expect us to believe that Ian's one night with Quincey makes him realize he can't do without her. Even though he is hung up on his feeling for Gabriel.

Feels like a Cop-Out rather than bold choice.

I have never read MM or MFM romance before, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure I wanted to read this book, not because I have a problem with the subject matter, but because I wasn’t sure how the authors would draw me into this story. But our family motto is “open arms, open minds, open hearts,” I’m a proud LGBTQ+ ally, and I’m 10 books into this series. So why not?
Except instead of allowing us to get to know Ian and Gabe, the authors shoehorn in a woman to, I don’t know, make it more palatable? And instead of a genuine relationship between Gabe and Ian, we have this thruple that’s only possible because Ian “loves women.” We never even get a real sense that he’s in love with Quincey, and we never get a sense of how this relationship genuinely works for them, AND we barely get truly interesting love scenes between the three of them. And Quincey doesn’t even seem to be in love with either of them - she spends the whole book trying to set Ian and Gabe up. What does she really get out of this, other than two kids and two men who can’t be without each other?
It’s impossible for me to imagine that this is a long term relationship that can last, especially when they introduce two children into the mix. I would have been more impressed if the authors had made a bold choice to go all in with Gabe and Ian without the Quincey buffer.

MM Romance

Ian is in a MC and doing time in prison with a year left on his sentence and he's sexually frustrated, so his friend Gabe (also a club member) comes up with solution, but is told by the guard—now or never and thus begins their illicit weekly get-togethers. Ian sees it as Gabe helping out a friend. Ian makes it crystal clear, he doesn't want anyone to know about them and they each have different thoughts and feelings about their time together.

On Ian's first night of freedom, he makes it clear he's hooking up with a woman and he rubs it in Gabe's face and goes on to ignore Gabe. Ian puts on a show of his manliness and desire for women for everyone. Gabe is hurt and when Ian goads Gabe into something he'd rather not do, he rolls with it.

Ian makes it clear he prefers and enjoys sex with females, not men and Gabe made it clear he prefers sex with men, though females are okay too. Ian enjoyed himself with Gabe and eventually arrives at the conclusion the he is gay for Gabe and Gabe tried desperately to make us believe he enjoyed sex with women. I didn't believe either one of them, they both protested too much and sadly, Ian is another selfish, same sex/non-reciprocal lover, he takes, but he never gives. Through it all, they find a way to make it work—for them.

FINAL NOTE: Because the word gay was such a trigger for Ian, Gabe went on the explain that they were both bi-sexual as neither one of them hated sex with the opposite, nor the same sex.

Gabe and Ian

This book is very different from most MC books, the Kings are very accepting. Gabe has been into men for as long as he can remember, he's not out of the closet though and fears rejection from his brothers. Ian is sexually confused, growing up with an abusive father he's scared of his attraction to Gabe. Out of prison Ian tries his hardest to forget what happened behind those walls and becomes enamored with Quincey the beautiful girl at the bar. After a whirlwind weekend Quincey figures out Ian and Gabe have history and does her best to get them together. But neither Gabe nor Ian is satisfied with just each other and what started as a one night thing with one guy turns into a relationship between three people. It is a good easy read, you feel bad for Gabe because he really wears his heart on his sleeve, but in the end everyone is satisfied. There is some very graphic sex scenes in this book between all three, so expect many steamy scenes.

My Gabe and Ian Review . . .

It felt like forever that we finally get Gabe and Ian's story. Their connection has been eluded to throughout the series but this is when it finally comes out. Gabe is Abe's little brother and he is scared to tell him he's bisexual. While Ian was in jail he had needs and he let Gabe help him with their visits but he denied his true feelings for Gabe.

As Ian is released their connection and chemistry steams off the pages but Ian is having a hard time. Peyton's best friend happens to connect with Ian which causes more issues with Ian's feelings and how he is denying them.

Quincey and Gabe are the key to help Ian wade through his personal issues. When all three together it was very hot but when Gabe and Ian are just them their passion is combustible. I liked this trio together and I think they are a tie for my favorites with Sax.

I wanted to give it a 4 but I can't, This one was hard to rate, I really like MFM or MMF, but I feel like this one should have been MM, because I don't think they really liked quincey more than for just having the hability to have babies, I mean they never said I love you to her or I don't even remember, it was mainly about Ian and Gabe's problems, we didn't even get to know much about Quincey, and Ian was not my favorite at all, he was kind of an ass and pretty egotistical,(ex. He could have sex with both separately, but didn't like it if it was them without him, he was weirdly jealous and just wanted to have both G and Q serving at his feet, he just wanted two pets 😑imo) I liked Gabe and Quincey together a lot more, don't get me wrong... It was pretty hot and I liked it kind of, but it left me a bit cold in the end, although I did like the epilogue, I don't think it was fair for Quincey or Gabe. Still good tho, just not as good as the rest of the books on the series.

I was looking forward to this book because I do like a good MMF but this just didn't amount to anything. It would've been better as a MM. I liked Quincey as a character and she obviously had aexual chemistry with Ian but the relationship with Gabe just felt forced. Rather than coming across as a "throuple" it was more like one relationship with Gabe and Ian and another with Ian and Quincey. There were obviously scenes with Quincey and Gabe but it just felt like it was more forced and they were more friends than part of a relationship, like they were only together because they both wanted Ian so had to deal with the other being there just to please him. When Quincey asked if they just wanted her to be their surrogate, that's actually closer to the relationship that came across from her and Gabe. As individual couples they worked but with all three together they didn't come across as seemless as other MMF throuples I've read.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that Gabe got jealous when they threw Ian a party when he was released from jail, Ian picked up a pretty woman in front of Gabe. Can Gabe and Ian get back together?

Gabe has been in love with Ian for years. Ian loves women. Quincey always picks the wrong men. Can they trust each other? Will they all accept what they feel?

This book definitely twisted you emotions. None of the characters came from necessarily stable backgrounds, so I understood why they were struggling. I didn't blame Ian for being hesitant after what his past had showed him. I loved how Gabe put himself out there even if he was hurt time and again. I loved how Quincey was determined to do what she could to bring them together. Steamy read and cannot wait to read more of this series!

Typically I don't like MM books, but I decided to read this just in case there was drama/action that would continue on into the final book. I was surprised at how fast I devoured this story! I was in shock (literally reading with my mouth hanging open) when reading the Welcome Home party scene! I was dying laughing at the innuendos. I teared up at the struggles of each character. And I was in love with their family at the end.

Ohh and I was smiling and/or fanning myself during the steamy scenes. WHEW!
