It’s a whole new world and I’m alone.

And I’m starving…for blood.

The last thing I remember is Rain taking an arrow to the heart, choosing my life over hers in an act of selfless bravery I’ll never forget.

Obeying her final command, I disappeared from my would-be killers, hiding inside the one place they refused to follow.

The haunted temple.

I have no memory of my temple ordeal. And now I’m here. The “other” place. A world dominated by technology not magic. A world without my four thieves to protect me.

How will I fulfill the prophecy if I’m stuck here?

I’m not just trapped. I’m afraid. And when I think about my thirst for blood, I grow fangs.

Yes, fangs!

I changed inside the temple, for the worse. I’m no longer just a princess in love with her four protectors. I’m something more…something deadly.

War, Faze, Jam and Kaz will do everything in their power to rescue me, but perhaps they shouldn’t. I hunger now for more than their affection; I crave their essence. There’s a good chance I’ll consume them, one by one, unable to resist my unholy cravings.

Whoever or whatever brought these wicked desires to life must die for their treachery. Then, if I survive, I’ll fight to save both worlds and my loved ones before I’m lost to the bloodlust forever.

Disclaimer: Saving Jaslynn is a fairy tale retelling loosely based on Aladdin and The Arabian Nights. It is for readers 18 and older due to language, adult themes and sexual situations. But despite the warning, you can expect humor, no cheating, and a happily ever after. For those new to the genre, this is a “WhyChoose” Romance, often referred to as Reverse Harem Romance. This is the second volume of a book duo/duet. The first book, Finding Jaslynn , must be read first.

Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?

Jaslynn has discovered more about herself than any 1 girl should ever find out in these last few weeks. She's not human, not completely, or anymore, anyways. She's still going to be queen, but she gets 5 husbands. Her nemesis isn't who, or what, she thought. And life is going to be very interesting. If they make it through this war.

Spoilers ahead.
This was a pat wrap up. Sort of. There's still enough threads left dangling to tug for stories. Especially with the characters introduced into the mix. I still am confused about a few things.
*Will they close off the portals? So more greedy humans don't come through? Or greedy sorcerers?
*Will there be further explanation about demons and how they're here?
*Will they track down the bad magic users in this realm? There's already a system in place on Earth.
*We never discovered how far up the chain went for the govt involvement on Jaslynn's side of the portals.
*Will Earth/NotEarth ever start communicating in order to protect both sides? Or just shut portals and try to bury everything?
*Why was Kaz's arm not healed magically? If Jaslynn can heal with her bite, then...why?? Why didn't she change the guys? Her turning was described as changing AND as just bringing forth her hidden heritage. It was never really told which it was.
*Why was she queen if her dad was still alive?
*The whole title "crown of shadow and fire" was never really explained.
*We never do learn the guys' real, non road, names.

I have so many more questions that weren't answered. And there were some ick moments, too. I have those highlighted in my Goodreads.
