Unfortunately, this was another dud for me.
I was doing okay and was enjoying the story until she went find Noah at home after that, their interactions went to crap. It doesn't seem like it was researched at well if at all. There is stuff happening on the call with the 'hacker' that has me sitting here going ......REALLY?!
The MC's moved way too fast. I guess its a love at first sight trope? It got to the point where the story wasn't believable. None of this is happening, even in this fictitious world. A lot of it sounds like a whole bunch of made up stuff people say when they are lying and trying to make you believe them and sell them on their story. Just trying too hard and saying stuff that just doesn't seem right or sound truthful.
Because of this I did not finish the story. I tried to continue but I couldn't find a way to connect with the characters or the story and it wasn't believable to me. In the beginning, I thought this was going to be a really good story, it had kept me interested at first. But now everything seems forced.
Why is a mob family looking for HER to go after the guy who she has been running from - who is also stalking her and killing people that gets in his way of getting to her. And how would they know this? This hacker just magically pulled this information (in a 2 min phone call) out of the mobsters head? It literally makes no sense for that to be happening and I just couldn't believe that it would be. There are 2 different mob families after her - and her ex is after her as well. Just... WHAT?
His brothers are treating her like they are screwing her as well, wiping her tears and talking to her like they know her, even though they just met her. NO ONE would do that for anyone. They would be suspicious and have doubts. When she said she was protecting her family - all of the guys just said "fuck" and I'm like Why? why fuck? She obviously ran so he wouldn't go after her family. OBVIOUSLY she is protecting them - why fuck? Its nothing new or surprising. I just couldn't understand the context of why they acted like it was something bad? a big secret? I mean IDK
If the guy after her was really after her or crazy like the author wants you to believe, her staying away from her family to protect them wouldn't of done anything. He would've tried to use them to get to her. He would've made it seem like something happened to them to lure her out of hiding or make her believe that he hurt them. THAT would be a true manipulator. Someone who would manipulate people or a situations to get a reaction or to reach a specific outcome. Which I hadn't seen him do. The only thing I got was he was stalking her and wanted her back - he believed she wanted him - if what he said in the beginning when he was in the car watching her pull up to her parents, was any indication.

Poor editing
This story had potential. Very likable characters— lots of great family dynamics. But it made no sense that this evil character kept showing up to terrorize Kenzie but no one could catch him or track him down.
The love at first sight, she’s mine forever upon meeting, moving in and talk of forever was a bit strange.
But the typos and grammatical errors truly impacted and distracted from the story.

This is the first book in the Caine & Graco Series and i absolutely loved it! This book has a little bit of everything in it. We are filled with romance, suspense, and a very sexy hero...This book will definitely keep your attention and it only gets better as now we can read Zeke and Lincoln’s stories as well. Kenzie and Noah are perfect for each other and Noah is most likely the only person that can honestly keep Kenzie safe from her obsessive stalker. And believe me when her stalker returns for Kenzie she will need Noah, her very life depends on it. The question is, Will the training that Noah has received as a cop be enough to rescue the love of his life or will he be too late?

I am loving this new series. Yes, I know it’s only the first book. But you can always tell from the first book that the rest is going to be so much better. I love those alpha men that will stop at nothing to protect the women they love. I love it even more when they know that’s the woman they want from the first time they see each other. That’s how I fell in love with Noah. There's action and suspense and lots of sexy times. There's also family and some humor with the Caine brothers. I want more of the Caine and Grace family and I’m hoping this turns into several more books.

October 1, 2020This is the first book in the Caine & Graco Series and it’s absolutely incredible! The connection and chemistry between Kenzie and Noah was freaking hot! I loved Noah’s possessiveness and how protective he was of Kenzie. There’s plenty of action, drama, danger, suspense, and steam that will keep you engrossed and turning the pages. A fantastic read from start to finish and one I highly recommend.

This is part of the Caine and Graco series by E.M. Shue and the first that I have read from this author. I really enjoyed it. This story was fast paced with both romance and a mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat and unable to put it down. Loved the chemistry between Noah and Kenzie. Great read.

This is the first time I am reading anything by E. M. Shue. Accidentally Noah is the story about Kenzie Russo (family name – Graco) who hid away from her family for over five years because she was on the run from an abusive relationship with Roy, her ex-boyfriend. However, when she comes home to New York from Hawaii because her father suffered a heart attack, she sees Roy parked across the street stalking her. She flees again to her apartment in the Bronx covering her steps.
Working as a police dispatcher, she fantasizes about a detective with a sexy voice who calls in for backup. And although she’s not big on dating especially short guys which everyone on the radio heard about while at work, she agrees to go on a blind date at the urging of her friend, Trina. When she meets Noah, she realizes the star aligned and he is “Mr. Sexy Voice,” the detective she’s heard over the dispatch radio. Even more startling is that he’s assigned to handling a case where she could be implicated in killing a friend of hers from several years ago.
However, after piecing things together, Noah and his partner realize Kenzie is the victim and Roy is the one they are really looking for. Noah, his brothers and his partner try to protect Kenzie from Roy, who would kill anyone who got in the way of him getting Kenzie back. But Roy finds and delivers a brutal beating on her until she shoots him in a struggle and Noah’s brother, Zeke (now FBI) who was an Army sniper finishes him off.
Overall, this was a quick read. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and although things moved rather quickly as is the norm in this genre, these two made a great couple. The action and sex scenes as well as the dialogue were well written. The characters were well developed although there were times when I thought Noah was a bit over the top with his love for her. Furthermore, there were some things that didn’t get any closure including the “mob families” searching for Kenzie. Otherwise, it’s a good read!

"Good night, beautiful." He kisses my forehead. His breath wafting over my skin.
"Night, Mr. Sexy Voice." I sigh and disengage my hand from his. He doesn't want to let me go and I don't want him to. Something about him feels right.
I turn to the door and open it up. Once I'm through, I turn back and wave at him. He waves and heads back to his vehicle. I watch him walk away and shake myself to head up to my apartment.
As I approach my door, my good mood slips away. A glint of gold catches my eye. Hanging from my door handle is a necklace I haven't seen in years. I whip around looking for him, expecting him to come barreling out of the shadows, but I see nothing.

Accidentally Noah
I was tasked to reading the first 30 pages of this book and judging it for a contest, but I got so engrossed in the storyline of the book that I was on chapter 9 before I realized I had really gone that far! The story is gripping and intense and moves quickly on this high intensity that you just want to keep reading to make sure the people make it through ok! I loved this book and will probably keep reading into the series as this was book one! I actually felt like I was watching a movie or a show with how action packed it was! Amazing suspense/romance!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Accidentally Noah is a fast pace instant love story. Noah is an alpha male who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go for it. Suspense and drama happen throughout this story and keep you wondering what will happen next! Kenzi is a strong female who can handle her own! There are cross over characters from Securities International but you don’t need background information to follow the story. (But if you are looking for a great series - Securities International is one!) Lookijg forward to the rest of this series!

I am so beyond excited for finding this author. E.M. Shue has a way of keeping me on the edge of my seat. Her stories are exciting. She has characters that you can't wait to see what they will do next.
Noah and Kenzie are perfect for each other. They have met on a blind date but the chemistry is off the charts.
If you are looking for a good read, check this story out.

Accidentally Noah is part of the Caine & Graco Series by E.M. Shue. This is the first book I read by this author. The book kept me interested. I liked Noah and Kenzie as well as the secondary characters. The story had drama and suspense. I really liked this book.

Wonderful! A complete story. Meeting, current life, future life. Noah sounds like a dream come true man. A great story about love at first sight, past drama brought to today's light and how a true love story should be.

Although this is the first book of EM Shue that i have read, it certainly wont be the last. This book had it all! A cold case files that leads to a serial killer, a runaway who comes home, a sexy voiced hot cop, a blind date that is the start of something so good, and an alpha male who knows what to do in the bed, shower and everywhere else. I was so o the edge of my seat for several different reasons throughout this book. I didn't know what would happen next or who would be in danger the most. So well plotted out from beginning to end.

This has danger, action, suspense, drama, threats and so much more. Kenzie is a dispatcher and won't let herself get close to anyone. She has moved back home to be closer to her family but can't take the chance of seeing them again. Noah is a detective investigating cold cases. They get set up on a blind date and things don't go as planned. The chemistry is sizzling hot between Noah and Kenzie and he is determined to make her his. This was well written, has an action packed storyline that kept me turning the pages. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The first book in the Caine & Graco Saga, Accidentally Noah is filled with action and suspense. It is a story of instant attraction and lifelong loyalty. The plot progresses at a pace which keeps the story engaging and interesting.
I liked the characters in the book. Noah is very much an alpha male who takes charge in matters if life and love. Kenzi Russo is a strong independent woman who has learned from some of the harshest life lessons. The way Noah is able to break through Kenzi's well-placed defenses and get her to trust him is quite remarkable. Their bond is fast and solid.
Both families, the Caines and the Graco's are tight-knit. They support and love their members in good and bad times. The way they come together to catch the stalker from Kenzi's past is dramatic and makes for a good story.
There are ties this book to E.M. Shue's Securities International Series. The references made me feel like I need to go back and read these stories but did not keep me from enjoying the story before me. There are also hints at future stories of the Caine brothers that will make for interesting reading.

I really enjoyed this book. All the characters are great and well written. The story was interesting and suspenseful. It was just what I needed to get me out of a little bit of a book funk and I loved it. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and learn more about some of the other characters hopefully. I loved that Noah was written as an alpha male character but wasn't over the top. The female heroin, Kenzie was strong and could take care of herself but she also let Noah lookout for her and care for her too. This book was filled with thrills and suspense and kept me wanting more so I couldn't put it down. This is the second book I have read by this author and I have loved them both. I can't wait to read more.

I freaking loved this book! This is book one in the Caine & Graco Saga and is about Noah and Kenzie. Their story is full of passion, romance and also has suspenseful moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Trust me, I didn't want to put this book down! Noah is such a passionate guy and when he first saw Kenzie, you just knew that this was the girl for him. I loved their chemistry, you could literally feel the passion between these two and I loved how when Kenzie was in danger, not only did Noah step up to help her but so did his whole family. Noah's family in this novel is quite amazing and I look forward to reading his brother's stories in this series. I highly recommend checking out this book.

First of all, E. M. Shue is one of my one-click authors so I was thrilled when I heard this one was coming out. Secondly, this is just what you'd expect from such a talented author; suspense, drama, a dark past, characters with personality traits that are so relatable to everyday life, and an instalust that isn't cheesy but has all the chemistry that make it HOT. There were a few parts that had me swearing out loud, a few that had me giggling, and then a few that had me envious for that kind of relationship. You've hit it out of the park again Ms. Shue, congratulations on another 5-star review.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I totally enjoyed it. I loved the way the story flowed. Noah's instant reaction to how he knew kenzie was the woman for him. His alpha persona was intense to protect her at all costs, but never smothering her with control. kenize was feisty after suffering in her youth at The hands of roy, but would let him defeat her. It showed a tenth in her character. The brothers were a great addition to the book and I would like to see the series continue with them. A really great cop romance.

Shue’s first Caine and Graco novella maintains the heat and suspense of her Securities International series, while introducing a new cast of characters to draw from. I am excited to see where she takes the rest of the series and hope she has something in store for all the Caine and Graco boys.

EM Shue has an amazing ability to pull her readers into a world filled with amazing characters. I know whenever I pick up one of her stories, it will be difficult for me to put it down and this new series did not disappoint. Accidentally Noah is the start of a new series about three brothers that have ties with a character from her Securities International Series. While reading this story; I cried, cringed in both horror and pain, cursed evil people in my head, and fell in love with a whole new family of characters. I look forward to the next brothers story.

I really liked this one. The instant chemistry between Noah and Kenzi was fucking hot, and so addicting. God, Noah's possessiveness is hot as fuck and I loved that he had no problems about admitting his feelings for Kenzi to himself and others, that's a real man right there, so damn attractive. The plot was amazing, with the mystery and the drama, i couldn't stop reading it for a second, always needing to know what's next. And the steam... Damn that man has some skills. I really really enjoyed it, and now I can't wait to know more about Zeke's little lady 💗

This book was so wonderful. I love E.M Shue’s books and this one certainly delivered. I love an Insta love story and Noah and Kensie had it in spades. Kensie is on the run from an abusive ex and has started a new life. She finally agrees to a blind date with Noah to try to get her life back and they have chemistry. Noah the alpha hero decides what he wants but Kensie is not quite there yet plus add in her ex and wow. This book had me gripped and I couldn’t put it down wanting to know what was going to happen next. A truly wonderful book.
