Book 2 in this exciting new world. If you like dragons and egotistical, super-sexy demigods, then this is the series for you.I hate my father. At least, I want to. He is an evil bastard. I should hate him. You see, he’s Hades. God of the Underworld. I am his son. I find I desperately want his approval and, at the same time, don’t want to be anything like him. It’s a screwed-up place to be in. And people wonder why I am the way I am.Hades is despicable.Immoral.Cunning.He’s my dad.I’m not sure why I keep returning to hell. Why I keep going back to see him. Why I torture myself with his indifference. Am I ever going to learn? It seems not. It’s always the same, just when I think I am dead to him, he gives me another one of his duties. Something easy, he says. Something even I – his disappointment of a son – can get right. I should know better. I should turn him down flat. I can’t! I do a stupid thing and accept. Now I have to bring a soul to hell. Her time is up. This woman killed an innocent. Fetch her. End her. She’s a murderer. Deserves to spend eternity down here. Only it isn’t as simple as my father said it would be. Not even close. No cheating! Contains mature themes/language.

Lord of Hell is the second delicious book in the The Dragon Demigods series. Sexy Demigod shifters who have sworn to a life alone.

That is until unsuspecting women in need fall on their radar. meet the one and their lives are changed forever. But there are dramas along the way. A fun and angsty journey starts.

While each book can be enjoyed as a standalone, it's best to read them in order to fully appreciate the rich paranormal elements and exciting themes they offer.

The characters are fun and loving, but what they discover more than they ever imagined.

Strong, sexy alpha males!

Demigods galore😜

Another fantastic story by Charlene about the Dragon Demigods, this time Night - the son of Hades is the focus🤩

Night finds himself continuously going to the Underworld. He dislikes his father, Hades intensely but can’t seem to stop himself😢When his father finally notices him and asks him to retrieve a soul due to her past actions - Night finds himself embroiled in Shannon’s life, faster than he can teleport because something smells fishy to him❣️Loved this story and I can’t wait to read what happens next😍

The Demigod Night, son of Hades, makes you love him.  A MUST READ!

Shannon blames herself for something that happened after passing the Bar and going out and partying to celebrate.
Now that incident has earned her name being on Hades list of souls to have in the underworld.  But things aren't as they seem.
Night looks for his father's acceptance but it always some underhanded things involved with it.
Night is tasked with taking a soul from Earth and taking it to the Underworld.  Except he feels that something isn't right.
He spends time getting to know Shannon and having her set things right with what tragedy happened.
A friendship forms and keeps growing.  Night finds that he doesn't want his father's approval when he is with Shannon.  When he has a meeting at his house set up by Forge, he has Shannon stay in a room and asks her to be very quiet.  Forge keeps getting a scent that has a floral tinge and it's not from his fiance.  Trident picks up on it the scent and says it's nice and makes him think of breasts.  Hilarious.
Night's demigod brothers are an interesting pack.  He is the second one that broke their pack of not getting mates.  Night's best friend Bolt throws away their friendship because he broke the packed made by all of them.
Night still has to deal with the death of Shannon.  His half-brother Death has some secrets that he can't divulge because Hades forbid him.
There is a great sadness that builds at one point.  Sacrifices for love were made.  Then a surprise at the end.
Loved this book.  The Demigod Dragon series is one not to miss.  Definitely recommend readers get this book and the others.  Read and enjoy.  I did also purchase this book.
Great stories Charlene Hartnady, you've out done yourself again.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

THIS WAS OKAY. WHILE IT CAN BE INTRIGUING, I THOUGHT THE WORLD BUILDING AND CHARACTERS LACKED DEPTH. OTHERWISE, IT'S JUST A STORY TO PASS THE TIME.

While the characters had chemistry, I wasn't even interested to read about them having sex...that moment when you think about the two characters getting down & dirty but you only feel like maybe it's incest? Yea, that's when you know it's not that great.

NIGHT is the son of Hades and I'm guessing a Dragoness? Because he's a Dragon Demigod. Night's the typical good looking son of a Demon and honestly while he's a good guy...there's nothing much about him to rave about. He has no bad bone at all...at least not like those twisted, psychopathic characters I love to read. Anyway, Hades has always been finding ways to control his son BUT so far he's got nothing. For some UNEXPLAINED reason, Hades pushes Night to collect a particular woman's soul - Shannon. He's told that she killed someone and never got time for it. So, yeah...Night accepts the task but found someone completely drowning in her own guilt that she's atoning by self-punishment. Something's fishy here and the more he knows Shannon, the more he falls for her and eventually they fall in bed. LOL. It might have been nice if there's some ANGST to it I guess, to make it more dramatic. If not, it's just a story that gives this vibe :

description

SHANNON is wallowing in a lot of guilt. To be frank, she's too sappy for my taste. Sure, she's a nice girl and she's suffering from guilt that just makes her so damned depressing almost throughout the whole story. When she was 24, she and her almost fiance went to a party, got drunk and apparently she drove while intoxicated and hit someone. Because her parents are wealthy, everything got shoved under the rug and years later, Shannon's still a walking corpse. Despite her physical beauty, I just don't see any vibrance in her - I just get the picture of greasy haired, sad-faced and 24/7 anxious person. Not to say she has no other redeeming qualities, she can be cute sometimes, but seriously...this was almost a snooze fest.

OVERALL there was no action, no drama and no angst...and the world building was just like what..10% building up from the previous book (which I didn't read). Yeah, I'm just glad I ticked this off my TBR list.

Dark n Kind

This story was no where as good as the first one was for me. I remember lots of humour in the first book in this series but this book was pretty Dark and so sad at some points. They only really get together together at the last couple chapters. That doesn't detract from the story it just means you spend a lot of time reading the confusing, dark bits while getting to know the characters and their relationships. I liked the story but to be frank I prefer the story to include more of the other Demigods, his friends, and less of the dark and dreary depressing stuff... I get Night is a son of Hades but it would have been better if he was a funny pain in Hades rear than a depressed son looking for something good in Hades. I hope The others stories are not as dark as this one. In the end it is crazy as distrustful as he is of Hades that he isn't more distrustful of Shannon's second lifeline. But it almost was like it just dropped in his lap... nothing is free...certainly not anything good in Hell.

This is the second book in the demigods series. Definitely read the first book first! They all build on each other.
Shannon and Night were perfect together! Shannon can't forgive herself for her past, and struggles to move on. Night is the son of Hades, tasked with bringing her soul to hell. Except from the beginning, you can tell that there is something else going on.
I kept having to put the book down, and I was so mad it took me days to finish. I just wanted to know what was going to happen and get answers! So definitely start this book with enough time to finish it, because you won't want to stop! Each page leaves you with more questions, and you just need to keep reading for the answers.
I highly recommend this book, and I cannot wait until the next one!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

These Dragon Demigods are HOT

Lord of Hell: The Dragon Demigods Book 2
By Charlene Hartnady
Kindle unlimited purchase
Night knows his father has met him and his half brother. The rest of the Dragon Demigods haven't met their fathers. Night, on the other hand, wishes he never met his. See Night's father is Hades god of the underworld. Hades has tasked Night with bringing Shannon's sole to him. When Night sees Shannon for the first time he knows something is up.
This is a great book. I recommend starting with book 1. Yes, these books are standalone but the characters from book 1 and the other supporting characters are in this book also. It looks to me that there can be a lot more books in this series. And I'm looking forward to reading them.

Dragon Shifter series. Author threw in a side of “Demi-god” for spice. Book hero’s personalities took on aspects based after their “Greek god” fathers. Can’t say that really added much for me personally.

Book 1. (4⭐️) Forge (Son of Hephaestus. God of fire) & Ava (down on her luck running from crime boss.)
Book 2. (3⭐️)Night (Son of Hades. God of Underworld.) & Shannon, tortured soul/ recovering AA.
Book 3. (2⭐️) Little Lords - book follows pregnancies of book 1 & 2 couples. Odd read. I found that it lacked a true plot payoff. And the overlap with book 4 threw me.
Book 4. (3.5 ⭐️) Lyre (Son of Apollo) Morgan supernatural PI
Book 5. (3 ⭐️) Bolt (Son of Zeus) & Ashley Bakery Chef
Book 6. (2.5 ⭐️) Jarrod (Son of Janus) and Raven another dragon shifter
Book 7. (2.5 ⭐️) Rage (Son of Ares) and Nia a hellhound.
Book 8. (2.5 ⭐️) Trident (Son of Poseidon) & Zara restaurant manager

Night & Shannon

This book had my attention from beginning to end, although I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the female character at first. Also to put this aside I hated this version of Hades, it was like the Disney version only more rated R lol.

Shannon: like I said before I wasn’t sure I was going to like her and I was hoping sh would be related to a demigod as well because she reminded me of a different version of Persephone. But she was just human and I did like her cause I thought she was a bit funny.

Night: I wished he wasn’t so hung up trying to look for his father’s approval at the adult age he was. But I liked the things he did and how easily he was willingly to help Shannon and even the dog.

Aside from the bad version of Hades I liked the book, feel bad for Night for losing Bolt and for Death. Can’t wait to know his story. 7.9/10 ⭐️

Lord Of Hell #2 12/7/2020

The lord of Hell is night he is the half breed son of a dragon shifter and hades. He is always looking for any approval from his father. Then one day his father gives him a task to bring soak to him. So night goes to get this person but when he meets her something just doesn’t seam right. Shannon is trying to make her life different after a car accident where a man was killed. She doesn’t remember much because Of being drunk but she is remorseful but the only one that is being punished is her. But still something just isn’t right with this whole thing but now Hades has sent death to do the job. So enjoy another good read and see how it works out for them all !!

Night and Shannon's story is really about two tortured souls. Night just really wants approval of is father Hadies. He takes a job his father gave to him even when I knows he shouldn't! It feels fishy and he is going to investigate. Shannon isnt living just going through the motions and be sad she may not be happy in her mind she did something so awful she is a bad person.

It did really got me sad and depressed in a part the book. Then the fun starts and they both come more out of there funk and start living. You will start loving them so much. So keep reading people there is a lot of good stuff in here and you will love it.

I recieved a arc for a honest review

I am loving this new series!
Night is a demigod. He is half dragon shifter and a half son of Hades.
Hades and Night doesn't have much of a relationship. So when Hades asks him to bring a soul to the Underworld he agrees. But when he meets Shannon he begins to wonder how she would be chosen as a soul bound for Hell.
Shannon has lived with regret for almost 2 years now. She drove while drunk and someone died. She meets a hot man at AA but she knows she could never deserve to be happy because of what she did.
These two bring out the light in each other. But Hades wants her soul sooner rather than later.

Jasmine and breasts

The last one I expected to fall is Night. Took him awhile, he was in serious denial even after Shannon and him decided to take things to the next level. You get to see such a different side of Night in this. He's not at all brooding and hateful and angry well not as much as he came across in the first book. Definite daddy issues though. Poor Shannon got tied up in a ploy just so Hades could trick Night. But she made the ultimate sacrifice because of how much she loved him. I am absolutely loving this series. I can't wait until Tri falls. I wonder what woman will be able to bring him to his knees.

Good second book

Another good read by this author all her books are thoroughly enjoyable and this series is another success. Night was one of the Dragon Lords most against having mates and children that is until he meets Shannon a human that his father Hades wants delivered to hell and is a means of trapping Night into being his slave. After fighting against taking mates he finds himself in love with Shannon and getting her pregnant. A really good read.

This was an interesting follow up to the first novel. It took longer for the chemistry to build up between the main characters compared to the first novel, but once they got together they made a cute couple. There was also a bit of insight into Hades character as well, the only father any of the sons has been able to meet. Spoiler Alert: My only critique is that we never found out Jacqui's reaction when it comes to light who really killed her husband, that would have been a nice follow up.

Very good

I liked the characters and the plot. It was an interesting story line that I enjoyed. I still don’t really understand why the guys are so dead set on the never have a mate or children. Maybe if there were examples of why and how it was so rough for them, that may have helped to explain their feelings. Right now, that oath seems so juvenile. But it’s a fun and mostly happy ending story, which I love.

Book Two Night's book He was so mean to Forge and Ava. He was upset they are together so he goes to see his Father Hades. Who is an ass he tries to trick him into working for him? By using a Woman who is supposed to die he tells Night and asked him to bring her to him. He thinks it's a trick but wants to see his brother can not tell him. Of course, he falls in love with her they have to prove she is not guilty and should not die. romantic and funny too.

Loved the ending!!!!!

This book was completely different than any other book that I have read, in the fact it had a surprise twist to the story as well as the characters. It's one that you will not want to put down. If you want something different from a story yet the same you will want to read this series. I have enjoyed each one I have read so far.

Out of the blue... 8-1-2020

Well, I can honestly say, this storyline took me by surprise! Tough issues...but handled beautifully by the author. In the first book Night’s character was a total jerk (but well written) but, I love how this couple’s story ends. I do not usually discuss sex scene’s in my review, but, WOW... Lastly, love Charlene Hartnady’s sense of humor!

Night's story is dark and very emotional. Night is the only shifter/demi god that knows his father. Turns out that's not a good thing because his father is Hades. I fell in love with Night and Shannon and adored their love story! I

I am kind of disappointed, can't quite put my finger on why exactly.
Maybe because there's no real resolution, too many things unexplained or glossed over.
Maybe/hopefully the next books in the series are going to help in that regard.

Enjoyable read

Another grade installments in the series with characters that you really like and a well-developed storyline. It did end a little like a cliffhanger but the third installments was necessary to truly develop the storyline. Looking forward to the next book.

Outstanding

I enjoyed this story about these people who continue to keep on trying to get together on a more permanent basis. I like how they go about it. And how in the end it's two of the main characters that experience things along the same line.
