I'm not sure how this volume made me feel... I'm tired of all the random love triangles getting thrown into the plot over and over again. This particular love triangle is cringey to say the least. Can't the characters just develop a wholesome relationship with the action/drama being external from their love?

This volume was painful to read, and not in the good too-many-feels type of way. Kairi has become pretty unlikable with his treatment of Momo, and she's being a bit too masochistic (which I remember from the anime, and I believer that it only gets worse from here). At least Toji had a good reason to break up with Momo, and you could tell that she was (and is) the only girl he loved. Kairi is coming off as a user of women, and he's just being plain cowardly as far as Misao goes.

Kiley is a much more complex character than I initially thought… What Momo would actually benefit from is some time being single. It’s pretty sad what she’s willing to resort to in order to gain Kiley’s affection for her as his main love interest. I think the cliffhanger regarding Sae is not surprising tbh but hard to believe a risqué magazine would feature a minor in that way…

I really don't like what Ueda-san has done with Kiley's character. Kiley has always been a confident, strong character, but in this half of the series, he's become insecure and emo. It's really obnoxious.

Moc pěkná kresba, která se s každým volumkem zlepšovala. Jen se mi zdálo, že se někde v polovině změnily boty a trochu školní uniforma. Ale to je jen takový malý detail.

Zajímalo by mě, co měly naznačovat ty kresby na konci každé kapitoly. Momo na nich vypadala jako modelka, díky tomu vkusnému a draze vypadajícímu oblečení. Zprvu jsem si myslela, že to mají být nápovědy o tom, co se bude dít dál, ale vyšlo najevo, že s příběhem nijak nesouvisí. Což ze začátku vůbec nebylo jasná, takže mě to několik volumek hrozně mátlo.

Hlavní hrdinku Momo jsem ze začátku měla poměrně ráda, ale postupně se moje sympatie k ní pomalu mizely. Avšak mizely jen po krátkou dobu a můj vztah k ní byl stále mírně pozitivní. Obdivovala jsem ji za některá z jejich rozhodnutích a za to, jak zvládala nátlak od okolí. Někdy od čtvrtiny příběhu jsem ji najednou nechápala, dokonce jsem se nemohla dobrat k tomu, abych jí odpustila její činy, přestože tam byla zmínka o tom, že jí samotné přijde její chování divné.

Sae jsem nesnášela. Ze začátku to měla podle mě autorka v úmyslu, pak její chování začala omlouvat a my jsme jí měli odpustit. Pořád ale dělala špatné věci, díky kterým jsem ji nesnášela čím dál více. Úplně na konci se sice najednou chovala hrozně hezky, a dokonce pomáhala hlavní hrdince a ostatním. Dokonce i když udělala pár dobrých skutků, tak jsem jí nemohla odpustit, jelikož mi to nepřišlo uvěřitelné, aby se takhle zčistajasna změnila.

Příběh mě stále docela bavil i přesto, že tam byli krávoviny, které mě hrozně štvaly. A nepochopila jsem Momino přecházení od jednoho kluka ke druhému, protože to bylo kvůli prkotinám. Jako když se to stalo poprvé dalo se to poměrně dobře pochopit, ke všemu když to bylo i na delší dobu.

Žádnému z kluků jsem nefandila, neboť mi ani jeden nepřišel sympatický či aspoň dostačující. I když jsem asi měla radši Tojiho, jelikož to byla Momina první láska a zároveň mi to aspoň připadalo trochu opravdové.

Nečekala jsem, že tu budou i nějaké temné věci, které mě přinutí cítit znechucení nad lidstvem ( je ale fakt, že u mě to jde celkem snadno :D). Ale nevím, jestli je to plus či mínus, protože mi to nepřišlo moc uvěřitelné. Stejně jako to počáteční šikanování Momo. Ze začátku jak ji všichni nemají rádi, ale pak se najednou objeví holky, které řeknou, že za vše vždy může Sae, začnou se k ní všichni chovat hrozně mile a k Sae ošklivě. A to při tom od začátku věděli, kdo je k tomu podněcuje.

Obálky se mi nelíbí. Musím ale přiznat, že některé trochu dobře vypadají. Stále nechápu, proč tam Momo vypadá jako modelka. Myslím kvůli tomu oblečení a pózám.

And the award for worse cover goes to...Volume 4! Seriously, that is one ugly depiction and a misrepresentation of Momo...Bad cover art aside, volume 4 returns to the drama and angst of Momo's recent relationship with one Kiley. After he admits to being in love with the school nurse, he gives Momo the cold shoulder leaving her to nurture her broken heart alone. Toji makes the briefest of appearances to lift Momo out and to punch Kiley saying he "gave up Momo because he trusted Kiley". It was so touching because I still like Momo with Toji better. And Momo agrees to just be Kiley's "sex buddy" as she tries to get him to fall in love with her. She claims she's ok with being second best because she knows someday she'll be his number one. Ughhhhh. Where's your self-respect girl? Again, I'm not crazy about the message this is sending to young girls. The volume ends with a nude photo of Sae appearing in a magazine. I'm not sure where this is headed; I really don't remember much else of this series but I'm losing my drive for it...

Aaaaah hay tantas cosas que decir sobre este tomo!!
Primero que todo, no sé como sentirme con respecto a la relación entre Kairi y Momo. Por una parte creo que Momo debería finalizar la relación, seguir adelante, y no conformarse con ser el segundo plato (además reconozco que shipeo bastante a Kairi y Misao jejejeje) Pero por otra parte, ella fue la primera que comenzó a salir con Kairi aún sintiendo cosas con Toji y la escena del pasillo donde Momo le dijo que se esforzaría para ser la primera fue tan bonitaa >.<
Pese a todo, lo siento, siempre he sido y siempre seré team Toji. Para mi Toji y Momo simplemente tienen una conexión mágica y las pocas apariciones de mi bebé Toji en este tomo me enamoraron (está hecho un papasote jejejeje)
Por último: ¡¿¡¿¡¿SAEEEE?!?!?! Quedé shockeada con el final :000

Trigger Warnings for suicidal thoughts, attempted suicide.

I rated this volume higher than the others mainly for the fact that Kiley is the center of this volumes stories. Kiley is so fragile and kind and loving, and I love that Momo didn't give up on her love with him. I'm hoping that Ryo stays outta the way in the next volume(s).

Please take care and caution when reading this series. Imagine a very triggering soap opera, and that is what Peach Girl is. There are warnings for suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide, attempted rape, emotional abuse, some blood, and sexual assault. If these kind of story tropes affect you in any way, Peach girl is not the manga for you.

Que out of character el Kairi en este tomo jajaja, la construcción de conflictos no es el fuerte de este manga, no está taaaan mal hecho pero no puedo evitar sentir que Kairi fue nerfeado por "beneficio" de la trama.

Story: The perfect thing about this series is that it is a potential real life situation. There is bullying from the other people at school and misunderstandings set into a high school setting. This series is absolutely perfect for someone to read when they are that age and to realize that many people can make mistakes or take something the wrong way, especially in regards to relationships. There is a quite potent love triangle between Momo, a girl that gets bullied by others, Kairi (Kiley), a flirt of a guy, and Toji, a guy that is easily blindsided. It does not help anything that there is the slightly evil character of Sae that is always trying to get in Momo's way.

Drawing Style: One of my favorite things about the art style of Miwa UEDA is that she changes up the characters. Especially Momo, she always wears different clothing and has a different style of hair that is rarely seen in anime or manga.

Characters: The characters are highly in depth and developed throughout the series. They are all multi-dimensional with underlying reasons for how they come across and serious back stories that add to the series.

Overall: This is one of my favorite series by far, exceeding all of my previous expectations and blowing me away with the quality of production.

i remember looking at this cover and debating if it was a candy momo has in her mouth, or if she was just sticking out her tongue. that really has nothing to do with the story. honestly, momo should have left kiley at this point. he tried to do the right thing and let momo be until he can figure things out, but no, momo just has to push her way. how ueda keeps building kiley's character is rather good. he's probably the most complex character in the entire series. everyone else seems rather straight forward. momo is impulsive, but has a kind side, even though it gets covered up from time to time. toji is a little shy, but is extremely loyal. kiley on the other hand keeps revealing more layers: loves momo, loves misao, string of girlfriends, rebellious, extremely affectionate... but i guess more of this gets revealed later.

Beginilah kalo seorang mangaka tdk sanggup bikin plot yg lbh menarik lagi tapi pgn pundi2 uang terus bertambah so ceritanya dipanjang2in dan dibikin jadi ala sinetron kacangan sampe2 kamu ga tau ceritanya ini mau dibawa ke mana... Ntn drama ABG di usia ABG tdk sama dgn baca komik ABG di usia 31. So, aku tdk rekomendasikan kamu baca serial ini walaupun awal ceritanya bagus.

Dan omong2 soal Sae yg terobsesi ama Momo dan pgn bikin Momo merana? Tampaknya dia ga peduli lagi krn setelah dia tidur dgn Ryo, skrg dia jadi 'jualan' dan jadi gravure model majalah porno saking pgnnya dipuja2 org dan jadi pusat perhatian.... Frustasi bgt ya sampe jual diri gitu... Kasihan cewe model gini... Jadi teringat kisah para artis newbie cewek dan cowok di Korea dan Taiwan yg demi menjadi bintang rela bobo ama atasan.... miris...

In book 4 of peach girl Momois confused about Kiley's past with Misao.Come to find out Kiley really dated MIsao and she was his tutor not Morika. Ryo tried to keep Misao away from Kiley but she wouldnt have it. Kiley sits Momo down and told her the real reason why he still loved Misao. When Momo tells Toji what happen between her and Kiley, Toji tells Kiley that the only reason why he gave Momo up is beacuse he trusted him.Toji trys to take Momo back but Momo is now in love with Kiley. No matter if Kiley still like MisaoMomo still wants to be Kileys 1st love.Question: Why is sea becoming a porno star?. The only way you can answer this is if you read the Peach Girl series.

Peach Girl is a about a girl named Momo and her struggles with love. When I was reading this manga, I felt that I needed to smack Momo in the face sometimes. She needs to awake from her reality and know some things aren't meant to be. What I like about this manga is that people can relate to this. Such as when Toji broke up with Momo and she got with Kiely. When she's happy with Kiely, Toji feels jealously sparking and wants to have Momo back but he can't. I felt like this could relate to the word because not every girls' going to wait for you until you realize your feelings, at the end it's too late.

I don’t know how old Misao’s character is, but Kiley’s crush on her is offputting. And poor Momo can’t stop getting in the middle of all this relationship drama. This volume at least explained Kiley’s feelings, but it still feels weird. Not a bad read, though.
