Nice twist!!
Alright, I did not see that twist coming, though in retrospect I probably should have. There were clues, but subtle ones. Regardless, that’s going to make book 3 a very interesting read. We already doubt who to trust! Except the guys, they may be a bit messed up and emotionally whacked, but they are a good trio of strength and determination - which is vital in the Hunter filled world.

Pros:
- Twists and turns, leading to both emotional and personal truths for the characters.
- The characters! I enjoyed the intro if the New York Hunters.

- Cade, I love you. Get over yourself.
- FMC, I love you. Get over yourself.

Ahhh!! So much better than the first! This book was action packed right from the get-go! The story starts with a flash back but then it picks up right where we left off in the first books.
The characters are now focused down to Cade, Tristan, Nix and Deidre now. There are pop ins from supporting characters but all the focus is on the four. Deidre is on the run with Nix and things definitely heat up between the two (so satisfying to see). Cade and Tristan pop up on the scene and they set a plank to motion. Can Deidre meet up with Truby and fool him enough to kill him? Or will she be lured away from her boys and reunite with Trudy against the hunters?
Fantastic action, plenty of steam, and great storyline. I can not wait for the third!!!

Wow 😮 I am loving this series! Drawn in from the very start this second book continues on from book one and is every bit as awesome! One hell of a thrilling journey filled with good and bad, with supernatural beings, with twists and turns , drama and excitement and great chemistry! I cannot wait to read the next book!

4 stars for His Dangerous Ways by May Dawson. This is book two in the Academy of Supernatural series. This series is so intense. I am loving Deidra and the guys. I think I have a little (maybe big) crush on Cade. Just Saying. “But maybe what we all desire most is to be truly seen and understood, and then loved anyway.” There is a big twist in this book that had me guessing what would happen. The way May Dawson provokes emotions seems utterly effortless. I can feel the emotions that Deidra has and is experiencing. Cade, Nix, and Tristin are also going through a lot of different emotions in this book. I feel like in this story we get more information about everyone’s backstory, which I enjoyed. The connection between Deidra and the guys is growing and so are their feelings. I have no idea where the next book is going to take us and I love that, but I am ready to find out.

Hello drama, action and intrigue!
This sequel was incredible and delicious!
So what if I sound corny? This book made me love it even when I cried or became furious, there are so many surprises in store for Deidre and the guys and some heartbreaking emotions.
I’m seriously excited about the next in the series because I am loving seeing these characters come into their own.
Now for those of you that follow me for the rating I would say medium on language and while I can’t say family friendly to all ages I will say a solid R to R+ rating on the adult scenes and May I say they are very well written.
This book definitely blended perfectly for the sequel and was an absolute dream for setting up the third book as well as the perfect crossover to her Wild Angels series that my OCD is screaming for me to read as well; but that is the sign of a great storyteller isn’t it.

I enjoyed Book 1 and since it ended in a cliffhanger, I decided to continue with Book 2, which picks up minutes after the end of Book 1. We find out why Malcolm told Deidra to run. The sexual tension between Deidra and Nix increases as they are on the run from the Council and Hunters. They discover sex magic. Later Deidra and Tristan discover their own sex magic. Nonstop action characterizes the rest of the book. It's difficult to stop reading because one exciting adventure leads right into the next. Deidra's magic is unbound and the result is unexpected and amazing. be ready with Book 3 because the ending is a cliffhanger.

This is a tough one to rate.
I'm still curious about the overall storyline - who is actually good, what actually happened to her family and why.
I'm liking Tristan and Nix, and wish Cade and Deidre would be less stubborn and annoying.
Unfortunately there's still a fair few errors/editing - one sentence even just cuts off after just a couple words, which definitely should've been picked up by alpha/beta readers or editor etc.

Better than book one
This book was marginally better than book one, truthfully I'd rate it a 3.5 stars.
I like the main character, she's sassy.
But my god this story isn't fleshed out. It's so rushed, the pace is crazy, and as it stands the story doesn't really make much sense at all.
We'll see if it ties together in the last book.
I'm only reading on because it's free on kindle unlimited. I would not pay to read this book

May please proof read your works before publishing.
Great story, but the author really needs to spend more time proof reading, or get a better editor before releasing her works. A lot of errors in spelling and crossing of character descriptions. It getting character names mixed up. I've found these issues in every book I've read from her so far and this was #5.

Creative
Lots of secrets are spilled, more mysteries are popping up and it leads to me needing to know what happens next! Great book! Emotions felt natural, I loved the fmc men who will follow her to the ends of the earth. Can’t wait to read the next book!

good read
I have to say I’m in love with this author lol. This is the third series I’ve read from her and I’ve yet to be disappointed. This book definitely did not disappoint as the action kept coming and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I tried to finish this book but it's boring and I can't get into it at all. I read up to Chapter 24 and nope, not happening.

This book is a whirlwind of crazy and chaos is the best way!
Book two picks up where book one ends; after the prologue, which gives more backstory on Cade and Nix and provides more insight into their feelings/actions related to some comments and events that happen in the first book, as well as the council. I love that Dawson did this, it really helps to understand these guys better.
His Dangerous Ways carries the intensity, suspense, danger, and mystery of the first book as well as a few other treats to enjoy. You may think you have an idea of what is truly going on and who is bad and who is good but this book will have you questioning all you thought you knew. There are new allies, new enemies, lies exposed, secrets revealed, deeper connections, tons of emotions, and romance to hold interest as Deidra searches for answers from her past, plots revenge, and fights for her survival and freedom; with her guys at her side.
Even though Deidra and the guys (Cade, Nix, and Tristan) have not known each other long, they have formed a deep connection, an unwavering bond of trust. She knows that she is safe with them and they will always have her back. It is fascinating to watch their interactions and how well they understand each other and play off their strengths as well as offer guidance when needed and knowing when to stand strong and silent as support. Gotta say I love these three guys! They are all sorts of pitter-patter swoon material.

Just wow
This book book starts out strong and finishes just as strong. Deidre learns so much about herself, her family and her powers in such a short amount of time. She finds it hard to process everything.
The action, intrigue and more mystery surrounding everything will such you in and not let you go. I started reading this book and could not put it down. I can't wait to see what happens next.

His Dangerous Ways was just as addicting and had me hooked just as much as the first one. So much happens here, it is crazy. So be prepared for a wild ride.
Book two picks up where book one leaves off. I really like the different pov's that we get. Cade and Nix, i really just freaking love them. Getting to see their thoughts and feelings just made the book so much better. Deidra is just as fun and snarky as in the first book. I really enjoy her personality and how she kicks butt. She likes who she likes and is unapologetic about it. She is fighting for herself and those she cares for. I am a super fan. I am not forgetting about Tristan, he really steps up in this book and yes you will fall for him more and more.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HIS DANGEROUS WAYS" This is the second book in this amazing series so well written by May Dawson I love all the paranormal things that go on in this series it's full of drama, passion, secrets, magic, twists that have you turning page after page.
Nix and Deidra go on the run from the Council he's a witch tbey have to leave Cade and Tristan behind the fact an evil witch who says that he's her father she still trying to come to terms about her heritage she decides to get into Truby's Coven to try to find answers she hears things she never knew about herself.
Deidra gets different information about who killed her parents she still having problems controlling her power causing chaos so much happens in this story it's a must have book such an addicting series you don't want to miss the characters are so interesting, entertaining, captivating they pull you right in.
I defintely recommend to get this series it was so enjoyable I can't wait for book three

In the second book we start off with Dedria on the run from the council with Nix they head south to A safe house,and are eventually joined by cade and Tris,
The council want Dedria to infiltrate Truby's coven and gain his trust before killing him, But whilst there Dedria learns of her mother and a family she never truly knew Which leads to confessions, realizations, truths and lies being laid out in the open.
Will Dedria learn the truth will she find and have the family she yearns for and what exactly Do the Demons want with her and who do they think she is Discover this and so much more in His Dangerous ways.....
