Futaba Sato is an actor, director, Ancient Greek lyre player in Japan. She has created career both in theatre and in music. Her dedication to Ancient Greek culture has started when she was an university student. She majored in classics and specialized in Ancient Greek tragedy at the university and the graduate course. And she also has started studying Ancient Greek music. After graduated a drama school in Japan, she started her career as an actor, director, and musician. She has been directing and performing a theatre series ‘ひとりギリシア悲劇’(Solo-Greek Tragedy) as her life work and she is also a Manga artist and a novelist.
