The courageous men of USA Today bestselling author Tina Wainscott’s Justiss Alliance series never give up and never make a promise they can’t live up to—especially when love is on the line.

The only commitment Saxby Cole has ever made is to the SEALs. He follows a long line of Southern charmers who swear monogamy isn’t in their blood. He’s never met a woman who made him want to swear his allegiance—until, while undercover for a Justiss Alliance assignment, he finds a woman who makes him think twice.

When Jennessy Shaw’s boyfriend dumps her right before their vacation to a hedonistic Caribbean resort, she goes without him to explore her wild side. Throwing caution to the wind, she propositions Saxby—only to suffer his gentle rejection.

When she wakes in Saxby’s room with no memory of the night before, Jennessy discovers his real purpose: to sniff out an operation where women like her are drugged and prostituted to resort guests. She goes from victim to his investigative partner . . . but getting too close to the sexier-than-sin Saxby may be her wildest move yet.

ARC received for review

Saxby never wants to get involved due to his past (his dad is a real piece of work), so when he meets Jennessey he tries to stay far away. Of course, she becomes involved in his mission, and they both fall for each other. He let's her go after they catch the bad guys, but not for long.

I really want to read Vivi and Knox's book, but it's not been written yet. I thinking it maybe written in the new year, since in the last six months all the previous books in this series have gotten cover updates. We'll have to see.

2.5 Stars. Started out interesting, but by the halfway point was dragging with the need for the storyline to tie up. Finally skimmed to the cheesy and predictable end.

Btw...that badass biker looking cover in no way, shape, or form fits the story. It's really just false advertising.

Thrust together at a hedonistic resort, Saxby Cole (Ex-Seal/special ops) and Jennessy Shaw (recent college grad) will be in for a vacation that will never forget in Wild Nights.

Saxby Cole was sent to the island to find out if the suspicions of date rape drugs were true. What he finds out will change his life and Jennessy’s forever.

Jennessy planned a week away to spice up her romantic life with her boyfriend, a boyfriend she discovered was cheating on her. Taking the week alone, she quickly meets Saxby, a man that ignites something inside her. Saxby tries to hold her at arm’s length until they are thrust together by his investigation.

The sexual chemistry could be cut by a knife, it is that thick but Saxby believes cheating is genetic and that he can never marry because he won’t be faithful. It is Jennessy’s job to try to convince him otherwise.

The date rape drug use is devastatingly true and the situation is deplorable...much worse they anticipated by the special ops team. Together Jennessy and Saxby must traverse a trail of deception and denial.

This story is Hedonism with a capital H. It surrounds the characters and is on the forefront of their minds.

I enjoyed this story but at times wanted to shake some major sense into Saxby. Jennessy was fun and willing to explore not just investigating but her wild side.

The story took a few unexpected twists and maintained a quick pace keeping me invested in the outcome.

Sexy, hot, and suspense filled, Wild Nights is an enchanting read.

I received this ARC copy of Wild Nights from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication November 4, 2014.

WILD NIGHTS is the Story of Saxby Cole and Jennessy Shaw ...

We all remember Sax from the previous books...

He was part of that team of SEALs whose last mission ended in total disaster - and due to no fault of their own they were 'fired' from the Navy and now most of Saxby's old team is working for Chase Justiss and his Justiss Alliance. A private security company.

description

Saxby's new mission is a dream come true for the lady man ☺

He's to go undercover to one of the world's most famous and naughtiest party locations: DECADENCE.

A little private Island in the Bahamas where this former football star opened some kind of sexy hotel resort (clothing optional!) ☺

And Saxby is sent to paradise to find out who is drugging women and raping them.

"I don't have to wear flowery shirts, do I? I'm not a flowery kind of guy."

Jennessy has just left her cheating long-term boyfriend and goes on the trip to Decadence all by herself.

She wants to experience something different - something wild & sexy maybe.

But being drugged and waking up in a strangers' bedroom was not really on her list.

Thankfully the stranger is our Saxby - who she already met the day before and kind of hit on. And he kind of said no. Not a good start to her vacation.

Of course Saxby is totally attracted to Jennessy - but he can't start anything with her. He needs to appear as this nerdy guy who never gets the girl, in the hopes of finding out how this whole drugging-the-girls business is working.

And he does find out - that's how Jennessy ends up in his room!

After explaining the situation to her the next morning he finds out that she's an almost cop - a forensic specialist - and she wants to join him in his investigation.

And while trying to find out what's behind the drugging, they not only get closer and closer to the dangerous criminals, but also closer and closer to each other. Not a thing Sax really wants, because he thinks he's genetically destined to cheat and that's why he wants to stay single forever. He doesn't want to hurt Jennessy, so he's always trying to downplay the attraction .... but those damn feelings... they don't want to be told to not fall for the sexy blonde....

description

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN???
WiLL JENNESSY & SAXBY FiND THE BAD GUYS???
WiLL THE TWO OF THEM GET THEiR HEA???
WiLL THERE BE A CLiFFHANGER?

WILD NIGHTS was the perfect sexy Suspense Novel.

The incredibly hot former Navy SEAL and this adorable, slightly innocent girl, and the amazingly gorgeous setting on this private carribbean island.

Totally fairy-tale-ish ☺

We have some very dangerous suspensy scenes and all the romantic and sexy and erotic moments - everything a great Romantic Suspense needs....just PERFECT!

I loved the previous books in the series - and this book was just as great.

It will be the perfect read for cold winter months ☺ Hot location - mega-hot Navy SEAL - grrrrrrr ♥

WiLD NiGHTS was an amazingly sexy Romantic Suspense in a breathtaking location!! GO GET IT!☺

Now I can't wait to read WILD THING. I hope it will be Chase's story! The mysterious boss-man of the Justiss Alliance ☺ Or maybe Knox's story!

Wild Nights

Really enjoyed reading. Loved that it's at a nude or particularly nude resort. hard to believe they were drugging women for sex. Sounds like it is possible. Now I would think twice before going to someplace like this. Love the ending. Highly recommend reading.

Star rating for "Wild Nights" is 4 out of 5.

Blogging Reader’s ARC Review after reading Wild Nights by Author Tina Wainscott(as posted on: Booksmoviesfandoms.wordpress.com):

This is the third novel of the Justiss Alliance Series by Tina Wainscott titled “Wild Nights.” This is the first and only novel I’ve read of this series but I have to admit, I’m now very curious in reading the previous novels of this series because of this novel. I truly enjoyed it and adored the characters in this novel as well as the small glimpses of past characters mentioned from the previous novels of this series. “Wild Nights” is written in the two P.O.V.’s(point of views) of the main characters Jennessy Shaw and Saxby Cole.

Saxby Cole is a former Navy SEAL who now works as an investigator for a private civilian agency named Justiss Alliance. He is sent to gather Intel on a possible scheme where female guests may be given date rape drugs at the adult vacation hot-spot Decadence. His sexy southern charm has always made it easy for him to lure the opposite sex but he’s never felt the urge to do relationships. He says it has to do with being a “Cole” because no one, including his father, has ever been faithful to their spouse. To make sure he never hurts a woman the way he saw his mother’s heartbreak, he’s made sure to never do serious commitments to anyone but his missions and the men who are like his brothers in those missions. But Sax did not plan on meeting Jennessy on his next mission.

Jennessy Shaw was headed to Decadence alone. The trip had been previously booked as a getaway for Jennessy and her boyfriend Lane but those plans changed when she found out he was cheating on her. She didn’t cancel the trip and wanted to go on the vacation to just explore and spread her wings. She had only been with one man sexually and had always lived a safe and good girl lifestyle. When she met the nice guy Saxby on the plane, she didn’t think much of him but enjoyed the conversation and the way he seemed almost protective. Jennessy had no clue what expect especially when she checked-in at the hotel at Decadence and found out her room would be on the “Wild Side” where a bikini was overdressed. It was a switch from what she thought she booked which was the “Mild Side”. Jennessy would find out that things sometimes happen for a reason.

This novel was entertaining, suspenseful and had a great dose of sexy moments. Will Jennessy be able to get over Lane or will she choose to forgive him? Is Saxby going to follow in the “Cole” footsteps and never give love a chance? Will the mission cost Sax more than he can handle? How will Jennessy and Saxby’s lives be effected by the possible date rape drugs being given at Decadence? Who’s behind distributing the rape drugs and will everyone responsible be caught? I do recommend this novel and it’s made me interested in reading the previous novels of this series. Yes, that good! Check it out if you want something enjoyable to read.

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

Defend and protect is the motto of the Justiss Alliance and the men that work within the company. This is the next book in the series by Ms. Wainscott that shares more about the five SEALS that serve together fighting to overcome injustices in the civilian world. It is Saxby and Jennesy’s story about finding each other in a most unexpected setting, an island resort called Decadence where clothing is optional.

Jennessy dumped her ex when she found him cheating on her! The planned vacation to Decadence an island resort in the Bahamas was supposed to be for the two of them but there was no way she wanted that cheater with her. She canceled his flight and reservation and decided to go alone. This was a step out of her comfort zone and she planned on taking advantage of all the club had to offer. The only problem she had is her family, her course of study and future job on the police force might not agree with her walking on the wild side! When she meets Saxby on the flight to the resort, he is the perfect gentleman, not her usual type but she finds herself attracted to him. He seems to be the opposite of everything her ex was! Or is he really what he appears to be?

Saxby has been assigned a mission to uncover and find evidence of what is happening to some of the women visiting the resort. They are reporting that they feel like they have been raped but cannot remember anything! His company takes on jobs that are hard to solve and works to bring justice to those that have been wronged. Sax is a ladies man that has no problem attracting women so when he is told that he would need a makeover to turn him into a GEEK he was not that excited! How do you take a gorgeous hunk and turn him into a GEEK? Dye the blond hair brown, contacts to cover the striking green eyes, dress him in oversized clothes and tell him to slouch! Everything is going according to plan until he meets a woman like he has never seen before. A woman that might change his mind about staying unattached! He cannot be distracted right now, he is on a mission and lives are at stake!

When Jennessy is drugged and handed over to Saxby by one of the club employees the story really starts to unfold. Who can be trusted? Will they be able to solve this dangerous mission? Can they find out who is behind the drugging and taking advantage of unwilling women?

Hero: Saxby Cole 4.5 stars
Heroine: Jennessy Shaw 4.5 stars
Plot: 4.5 stars
Steam Level: 4.5 stars
Cliffhanger: No

Would I recommend this book: Yes. If you are interested in a book that has hot sex, hunky ex-seals and a great who done it, then this is your next read!

Would I recommend this author: Yes. This was my first read by this remarkable author and it will not be my last! Great characters and plot that will leave you wanting to read more! It made me want to read more in this series!

Wild Nights by Tina Wainscott is the third book in the Justice Alliance Series. I received this ARC in exchange for a honest review.

I haven't read the other two books in the Justice Alliance Series but I was able to follow the book just fine. The book focuses on Saxby Cole, an ex Navy SEAL who is assigned to go undercover at a sex resort. Someone is drugging women and selling them to willing buyers so they can be date raped with no memory of the night's events. His assignment is to ferret out culprit and shut down the operation. Saxby is someone who does not make commitments to women. The typical love 'em and leave 'em bad boy.

Now enter Jennessy Shaw, recently jilted girlfriend who is determined to have a good time. Jennessy travels to the resort to let her freak flag fly so to speak and prove to herself that she can let loose. Saxby and Jennessy are hit instantly by insta-lust but Saxby cannot cave to his desire to rip her clothes off while he is on assignment. So you have the back and forth of my job....but she is so pretty.....must focus on my job......but she is so hot. I think you can guess which one wins out.

I wouldn't exactly call this book innovative or groundbreaking, but it has a good story line and likable characters. Saxby has issues with monogamy due to his horn dog father. He feels like it is in his genes to be unfaithful so he never commits to a woman. However, he is very loyal to his friends and cannot tolerate women being abused. He is wonderfully alpha without being disrespectful or coming across as an asshole. Jennessy is sensible and strong. Not once did I have the overwhelming desire to want to shake her, pull my hair in frustration, scream at or throw my Nook. She knows when to listen and follow directions and she is very smart about her actions.

Saxby and Jennessy are true partners in this book. They rely on each other and use each other's best skills in order to solve the case. There is no I am strong man. You weak woman. You listen to strong man. The major conflict is Saxby's resistance to accept his feelings for Jennessy. He constantly fights against the little love bug that is burrowing into his cold heart.

If you are looking for a fun read that has some action and a few naughty scenes then I recommend checking out Wild Nights. You won't be disappointed. I give this book three solid I like it stars.

Happy Reading

Saxby Cole is a former SEAL who now works as a private investigator for the Justiss Alliance. He is on an undercover assignment as an overworked financial geek (with bad taste in clothing and difficulty in attracting women) to a private island resort in the Bahamas – Decadence – to investigate allegations of women being drugged and violated sexually. On the flight to the resort, he meets Jennessy Shaw.

Jennessy Shaw has been a good girl all her life and was looking forward to spicing up her relationship with her boyfriend on Decadence, but when she catches him cheating on her just before they are due to leave on their trip she dumps him and goes by herself to explore her wild side. The first step to exploring her wild side? Propositioning the guy she meets on the flight to Decadence. Sax is attracted to Jennessy but cannot pursue the attraction so as not to blow the lid off his investigation. Besides, he does not do long term because of the ‘cheating’ gene in the Cole family line and Jennessy is long term relationship material.

Sax’s request for a ‘sure thing’ nets him a drugged Jennessy. Waking up in a stranger’s bed with no memory of the night before is definitely not the way Jennessy planned on exploring her wild side. Luckily, the bed is Sax’s and Jennessy discovers his real reason for being there. She goes from victim to being his partner in uncovering the date rape scheme.

With Jennessy’s knowledge of the investigation Sax is free to explore his intense attraction to her, while working with her to uncover the identity of the bad guys. And boy do they explore! Lots of passion-filled day and nights, indoors and outdoors! I loved watching Jennessy’s confidence grow as she took control of her life and also loved that Sax was protective of her as she did this. Sax’s "Darlin's" also had my heart skipping a few beats!

The suspense was well-done – action-packed and filled with danger and kept me on the edge of my seat. The twist at the end I definitely did not see coming. Wild Nights was an enjoyable read filled with lots suspense and passion, just how I like my romantic suspense. I look forward to reading more from Tina Wainscott.

Wild Nights by Tina Wainscott is the 3rd book in her Justiss Alliance series. It’s a steamy, sexy and action filled adventure. I loved it. It doesn’t happen often but every once in a while a book just clicks with me and this one did that. It was the perfect mix of relationship development, action and sex. The story unfolded at a pace that was quick but gave you a chance to enjoy the moment. I think my favorite thing about Wild Nights was the characters. I absolutely adored the hero, Saxby (Sax). He is sugar and spice and everything nice, and I mean that in the sexiest, most manly way possible. He is just so endearingly good with Jennessy. Not to mention, good looking, hot and a total badass. Loved him!

I loved Jennessy as well. She was a wonderful heroine. She’s smart, sexy, fun and endearing. She was a perfect match for Saxby and I loved their interactions together. They were vividly portrayed with depth and emotion. I could feel the chemistry and affection. It was a joy to read along as they went from initial attraction to falling in love. Their romance unfolded seamlessly within the overall story.

The world building and plot was another aspect that I thoroughly enjoyed. The location at a decadent adult retreat in the Bahamas was fun, steamy and utterly entertaining. The games and antics at the resort gave some comic relief to the more serious storyline of date rape drugs being used on female guests. I just loved this book. It’s a terrific mix of romance, action, danger and sex. I was sorry to see it end and I’m anxious for the next book.

I highly recommend Wild Nights to fans of romantic suspense.

ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Let me just say that having not read any books by this author before I am now a huge fan after reading this amazing book.

The concept of this book really intrigued me. I mean how do you fall in love with a stranger within days on an island retreat where everyone is only after one thing. Being not a fan of the whole insta love i was a little leary on how this couple was going to work without it being the forced together insta that I so dislike. Luckily for me this author is a miracle worker and she wrote an outstanding love story with depth and emotion not seen in a lot of stories today.

Jennessey and Sax are perfect for eachother. Coming to the island to each for different reasons they immediately hit it off except for two problems. Sax is there for work and has to convince Jennessey that he isn't interested in her so that he can keep his cover for work. Jennessey, unfortunately just came to get away from a bad breakup and throws herself at Sax only to be denied and in turn her already damaged self esteem takes an even more drastic his.

After being thrown together multiple times they start to figure out that they ultimately need eachother if they are going to be able to figure out who is drugging these girls while figuring out the art of naked body painting and sex on the beach.

With a creepy PI, a hot but crazy ex football player, a sexy on the eyes with mad bedroom skills ex SEAL and a curly haired goddess what more could you want in a book.

ARC given by the netgalley for an honest review

Excited for the third book review. I've review the last 2 books and this book is as good as the last. I've being waiting for Saxby book in like forever and were not disappointed. Our hero in a mission to discover a possible use of date-raped drug in an adult resort own by a former star(who has a case involving drug and rape), he met Jennessy, a graduate student in forensic science who dump her boyfriend few days prior for cheating. SAxby is the southern boy in the group of course having trouble to uncharmed himself in this mission and having a connection with Jennessy who decided to shed her good girl image and having a wild moment for the first time. Playing a role, the investigation lead them together and the chemistry open their mind to possible relationship. But with Sxby family history and his own insecurity in fidelity broke their fragile new relationship?
I love this story, the secondary villian is known early on the story but the mastermind of the prostitution ring (using drug to female tourist) and prostitute them were a good angle for a story to be explored. Of course being Justiss Alliance agents are never easy so the subplots beyond the story were welcome. Can't wait for the next one, thumbs up for the author for fresh new story for each of the J-man. REcomended

I was given an ARC of Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. I had not read the previous books in the series but that was not necessary to enjoy this book. This story takes you into a world where women are given date rate drugs and taken advantaged of, under the cover of an island resort where they are encouraged to explore their sexuality. Saxby goes under cover but from the moment he meets Jennessy things take a different course. Jennessy is there to forget the man who cheated on her but from the moment she meets Saxby she is drawn to him. This is a story of intrigue, sexual tension and two people drawn to each other. I loved this story because the characters were well developed and the author didn't rely on sex to sell her story, though you won't be disappointed. I look forward to reading the previous books in this series and can't wait for the next book in the series. Highly recommend this book!

Oh Sax that boy sure knows how to embarrass a girl:
"You were a perfect lady. Other than tearing off your top."
"Oh, thank you for that."
The corner of his mouth twitched. "And trying to take off my shorts."
Jennessy is full of surprises and I think that shock him, "I thought you'd kick me in the nuts or something," he said. "But I wan't going to let you do the same stupid thing I did to you - send me away." He's a bossy one too ladies but I like my men bossy, "you're also moving in with me when we find the right place. Should I have told you that, too?" She let out a sound of exasperation, but her smile sort of undermined it. He raised his arms in surrender. "Hey, I'm new to this relationship business. Cut me some slack." I love this series and this author.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley for a honest review.

This was a fun read. Loved the mild vs. wild side concept. I wish more time had been spent on their alone time versus the "who done it". And I wanted the people on the "wild" side to be a bigger part of this story.

When they followed the dress code for the wild side, a huge opportunity was missed. I wanted to know what he was thinking about her!!!

There was also a big discrepancy at the end. A turning point, how could that get messed up??

Review for Wild Nights (Justiss Alliance #3) by Tina Wainscott:

I'll start off by saying that I have not read Book #1 or 2 of this series so I was walking in blind so to speak.

That being said, it was a fun read. This is only the second contemporary romance novel I have read and I think I'm starting to become a begrudging fan.

Let's begin with the plot shall we? While major plot developments and much needed interruptions occurred at miraculously convenient times that occasionally had my eyes rolling, every thing happened in a reasonable and naturally progressive manner. I loved the action, snooping, and sneaking around. On several occasions I found myself with sweaty palms and a racing heart! There is a wonderful balance of action, romance, and character building throughout. This novel deals with the very real and traumatizing issue of date rape. The discussions and character development regarding this matter are all very realistic and devastating. I was right there with the women dealing with the topic, feeling their every emotion, though I have never personally dealt with date rape or the drugs involved. Kudos to our author for being honest and forthright in discussing and confronting this terrible issue.

The only real barriers I had with the novel were the inconvenient timing of the love scenes and that the beginning of the book was a little cheesy. I found myself rolling my eyes and snorting a couple of times in the beginning but by the middle I was 100% invested. I think it just took me a while to get use to our Hero and his very nonchalant and flirty/cheesy manner (we later find out this is sort of a defense mechanism). It likely took me so long to click in because I was walking into the series quite late. Knowing this and having faith in the author, I just stuck with it until I had a feel for our hero and then things evened out.

With the love scenes it always seemed like our characters picked the absolute worst possible times to get into it but they would just throw caution to the wind and go at it anyway. Due to the tension constantly present during these scenes, it was almost impossible to sit back and enjoy them. I found myself yelling, "HURRY UP!" or "REALLY? NOW?" on several occasions. I, honestly, don't even remember if they were sweet moments or intensely passionate and wild. I was more worried about the big baddies and the potential danger lurking in the background. This was made more frustrating by the fact that there were plenty of opportunities to have nice, calm, passionate, and peaceful love scenes elsewhere in the book but they were never taken! Whyyyy Tina Wainscott? I just about had stress related heart attacks each time! Maybe that was the point? Who knows. It was stressful, but fun and exciting so who can complain?

Let's move along to our Heroine, Jennessy Shaw (she explains the name, I promise). I love me a strong heroine and our author does not disappoint. Ms Shaw is, at times, self-doubting and confused but mostly ready for a change in her life. I have a soft spot for authors that give their heroines a flaw that ends up being endearing. In this case, Jennessy's wild, curly, uninhibited hair! I loved it! It makes it so much easier to bond and connect with a heroine when you both understand that she isn't perfect. Flaws help us forgive heroines when they make all their silly mistakes, even if the flaw is something as simple as crazy hair. Don't know why, that's just the way it is, and I appreciate our author for throwing us a bone as Jennessy is basically perfect in every other possible way. Our Heroine is intelligent, capable, brave, and get this, she doesn't dress like a freaking prostitute! Even on an island full of naked/scantily clad individuals our heroine is modest but sexy. Go figure! She's a kick ass partner for our Hero and isn't afraid to take her own life and and justice into her own hands. Honestly, what isn't to love about her?

Our Hero is Superman. Not even kidding. In his disguise on the island he is dressed down, nerdy, and needy (which is important for his undercover mission) but as he starts to take off his disguise pieces, he begins to get taller, broader, and more heroic. I couldn't believe it! Someone has been reading too many comics (here's looking at you Miss Wainscott). What can I say? I loved it. I have a strange thing for Superman and superheros in general so Mr Saxby Cole was a dream boat for me. Sax is from an old Louisiana family so you expect some kind of southern accent but his is awkward and comes and goes randomly which was a little distracting but otherwise he is astonishing. A gentleman down to his toes and handsome to boot, our hero is to die for. His "I can't love you because I'll end up hurting you" mind set can occasionally grate but, after hearing the root of it, you can easily forgive. Being a dishonorably discharged Navy SEAL (this is explained through out the series) our hero is almost constantly using military lingo. Having very limited military experience -- mainly background rumblings from my family -- I understood some of his military speak and the things that made me go "huh?" did the same for our heroine, so they get explained. Finally, I adore Sax for allowing Jennessy to completely take control of her own life and find out who she is without haranguing or embarrassing her in the process, which makes for a delightful love story. *swoon* My hero!

So, let's see. A couple of hiccups in the flow of the novel but a great, though rather convenient, story line along with a magnificent pairing of Hero and Heroine. Definitely a great read. I think I may even go hunting for the next book in the series, which will hopefully be Knox and ViVi's story (Woo!).

Hero: ★★★★
Heroine: ★★★★ 1/2
Plot: ★★★
Steam: ★★★
Overall Rating: ★★★★

Favorite Scene: First time Jennessy sees Sax without his disguise!

Favorite Quote: "She met his gaze as their fingers slid against each other. It felt nice. Sax wasn't usually into nice when he has with an attractive woman. Sexy. Hot. Aroused, all good. Nice he could take or leave. But walking hand in hand with Jennessy was damned nice."

Fun Fact: Several times throughout the novel songs are brought up as playing through character's heads. If you find and play those songs while reading, it actually makes for a fun time!

Saxby Cole is sent by the Justiss Alliance to an island resort that is suspected to have had incidents of woman being drugged and then sexually abused. Jennessey Shaw catches Saxby's eye and propositions him, but he rejects her due to the case he is working. When Jennessey is later drugged, Saxby rescues her before she can become the victim of sexual abuse, which was planned for her. Jennessey joins Saxby in investigating what is happening at the resort, and their attraction grows while the danger to them intensifies.

Great characters, an interesting storyline, and an intriguing setting made this one a winner for me!

BOOK SYNOPSIS

Praise for the Justiss Alliance series

“Tina Wainscott delivers high-octane suspense and red-hot romance! Full of edge-of-your-seat action and red-hot passion, Wild on You is a souped-up roller coaster of a page-turner.”—Julie Ann Walker, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Black Knights Inc. series

“Bad boys breaking rules and hearts and dishing up justice—Tina Wainscott nails it!”—New York Times bestselling author Cindy Gerard

My Thoughts

As a general rule reading books out of order in a series that has already been established is not a good idea, however in the past year my luck has held as authors are beginning to write more stand alone stories for characters that are already introduced but may not have been given much page time. I am not sure if that is the case with Saxby Cole not having read the previous 2 books and a novella in the series but hey sexy ex-Seal story, who can resist!

After having finished with the scents and sounds of the Caribbean ocean still permeating the air around me can honestly say that this particular romantic suspense was a delight to the senses as well as in general a greatly entertaining way to explore the relationship that develops between Jennessy and Sax.

From their first meeting the pair have chemistry, once the resort is reached though things become a little more complicated as the covert operation the has brought Sax together with Jennessy takes an ugly turn which brings out his protective instincts.

This third book in the Justiss Alliance series takes a very serious plot that combines the best of both suspense and romance as it unfolds and brings it to life in a fantastic location that adds to it’s reading appeal. While did not feel the lack of reading prior works in this series it probably would have helped to bring understanding faster when prior events were mentioned.

I thoroughly enjoyed the moments of brevity that pass between Jennessy and Sax as well as those he shares with his team members once they appear on the scene later on, this helped break up the tense moments during certain scenes where both Jennessy and Sax put their lives in jeopardy.

After finishing any desire to take a tropical vacation has been erased, did enjoy the vivid location descriptions though.

You can find this review and others over on my blog here ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. (This is the third book in its series and can be read as a stand alone though I have reviews up for the novella/prequel Wild Hearts, the first book,Wild on You, and the second book, Wild Ways.)

It has been awhile since I was in this series and had to have a quick refresher over the first two books in the series, including the novella, to remember how fun and quick these books were. Though that being said I felt like this one was a step down from the previous, which is my favorite so far, however I enjoyed reading about Saxby's story.

Saxby is an ex-SEAL and now currently working for a company called Justiss Alliance that incorporates his SEAL training to go undercover and investigate sticky and sneaky things that go about. His current mission involves him to investigate a hotel resort that had claims from guests about date rape drugs being used. There he meets Jennessy who was recently dumped and takes this time to go wild like she has never done before. This trip brings the two together as she is given the date rape drug but is saved by Saxby before things got out of hand and they are now partners in trying to find out who exactly is distributing the drug and why.

Despite me liking this less than the second book in the series, it was still an interesting read and it went by fairly quickly. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters, Wainscott is good about writing steamy scene and getting sparks between her leads and this was another great example of it. From the beginning of the series I was eagerly awaiting Saxby's southern charm and of course he didn't let me down, with his sexiness he knew no woman could turn down but Jennessy may be the woman to turn his world upside down.

The banter between the two were just right, not too cheesy nor annoying which was something you don't see enough if NA books these days. I also liked the combat in the story, it was introduced nicely and separates itself from other books in its genre. Jennessy was a great female lead, not letting Saxby's sexiness distract her from him bossing her around like the big bad SEAL thinks he can. Eventually they learn to work around one another and see how much they are alike and click together.

Overall I gave this book 3.5 stars. Like the others in its series, I look forward to reading about the stories of the 2 remaining SEAL's and hope to see cameos of the couple I have already met. If you haven't read the series yet, I recommend getting them, they are quick and fun reads. Thank you readers for reading and I will have another blog post up soon.

Over and out.

Serials about hot military type men might be one of my favorite types ever. I mean you have everything. Hot men, action, romance, and some steamy scenes. I mean it has the best of everything and this book was no different. The characters had some steamy chemistry and the storyline was action packed and interesting.

Saxby Cole was in the Navy SEALs until something went wrong and he was discharged never to be acknowledged by the American government. He was approached by the Justiss Alliance to do some of the same things. When he isn’t working he passes his time being the one-night or one-weekend type of guy. He has never felt the need to commit like many of his family members. When he gets his next assignment it’s to a party resort in the Bahamas. When he gets there the drugging of women happens to be more than it though it would be.

Jennessy has dumped her high school sweetheart because he can’t keep his junk in his pants so she decides to go to the Caribbean resort on her own. She meets Saxby and when she can immediately feel the connection she decides to go for it. Only to get shot down, sweetly, but she brushes it off determined to try with someone else. When she gets drugged her first night she wakes up and realizes that there was more to Saxby’s rejection then she originally thought. Now she wants justice and she is determined to help Sax get it.

Saxby and Jennessy were pretty great characters. Saxby was sweet, charming, and sexy as hell. He genuinely cared about Jennessy even before he slept with her the first time. He wants to protect even if that means from him. Jennessy was genuine, sweet, and caring. She saw something more in Saxby even if he couldn’t see it. She was really helpful to the other girls that had been drugged as well. Both characters were relatable and real. They had amazing chemistry right from the start too.

Tina can definitely write some incredibly steamy scene without a lot of clothes coming off too. It was pretty impressive that they only had sex maybe twice but between the touches and the foreplay you could feel the sexual tension coming off the kindle.

I really enjoyed this story. The actual plot was pretty interesting as well. It kept me turning the pages and trying to guess who was involved. I was hooked and I am definitely going to be picking up more in this series!

Oooh I absoulty LOVED this book to pieces!

Oh sweet baby Jesus. Here, I’ll make this super simple for you. What do I mean by that first phrase? Is it good? Bad? That ‘sweet baby Jesus’ roughly translates to *muscle twitches* *pupils dilate* *sudden need for adventure* *sudden need to take down bad guys* *sudden need to find a hot Southern boy who is set to inherit an empire to take down bad guys with* *must be selfless* *did I mention hot?* So you wanted to know my thought process through the book? Well there you go. If you want to know more, I’d advise you to keep reading.

Wild Nights is a story of self-discovery, hope, taking down the real bad guys, and a bit (okay a whole lot) of romance and chemistry. This book was freaking wonderful. Reading this novel was a delightfully satisfying experience. Why? Wow, you ask a bunch of questions. That’s fine. I love questions. It was satisfying because everything made sense. The writing was perfect for this type of book. The characters were amazing. Saxby (holy crap. hot name much?) is a Southern boy with a cheating father and sisters that he adores. He also is set to inherit a Louisiana empire. And he can fight good.

After he get thrown out after a super-secret mission he joins the Justiss Alliance. This Alliance is basically a collection of too beautiful to exist people who want to save the world but the army or SEALS (or any of those government people who can fight good) won’t let them or they just feel like being awesome after retirement. Saxby gets sent on a covert mission for a date rape operation at an adult-only hotel where he happens to run into our main girl. Jennessy is there to run her cheating ex’s face in the fact that they’re no longer together. After cancelling her ex’s plane ticket she decides that in order to embrace this new her she has to let loose a bit. Some things happen and she basically becomes his side kick. It’s all rather exciting and I’m smiling writing this because these two characters rock.

I have a confession, y’all. This is the third book in the series, but the first one that I’ve read. So, they can be read as a standalone. Another confession? I want to read them all. Nowwwww. Got it?

The twists and turns in this novel didn’t alleviate the predictability of it. I mean, yes, I guessed what was going to happen and the whole whodunit-ness thing, but (surprisingly) this didn’t take away from the enjoyability (not a word, I know) of the book even a bit.

What I’m trying to say is read it. This is a ‘can’t miss’ with the romance and kick-butt of the entirety of the whole story.

Book Review- Wild Nights: The Justiss Alliance by Tina Wainscott

Saxby Cole is now working for Chase Justiss. He is currently living on the man-made island that serves as the Justiss headquarters. He signed up when he was discharged from his seal team. The op his boss is sending him on includes staying at Decadence, a resort in the Bahamas. He is undercover and investigating the allegations of women being drugged and raped while guests of the resort. His job is to gather evidence for the state department and that is it. He isn’t allowed a weapon at the resort, so he isn’t planning on having a reason to need on.
He knows what he should be doing but it already goes against his normal MO when it comes to women. His seat mate on the way to the resort, Jennessy, gets comfortable with him. She even kisses him. He has to shut her down in order to keep his cover.
Things go awry when Jennessy gets pulled into the investigation against her will. Sax lets her in on the investigation and enlists her help. He also decides to make up for the brush off he gave her initially.
As they investigate Jennessy gets more involved with Sax. Sax warns her that this is a weekend fling. There is nothing in the future between them. He is not the commitment type. However when the op reveals more dangerous crimes, Sax and Jennessy have to save each other.
I like these wild stories. This is not my first book by this author or the first book I’ve read in the series. The Justiss Alliance is off the grid and does investigations that are normally in the dark and under radar. It is intriguing to read how they blend in and you are present for the whole investigation.
The op that Sax is sent to in this book set the stage for a very sexy story. Nothing like the setting of a sex resort to get the story rolling. The resort added an interesting backdrop for Jennessy and Sax. I truly liked both characters. They were a great match. It was fun to read how they worked together solving the crimes and all the other extra activities they participated in. He encouraged her to experiment finding what she likes. He was the most protective gentleman. Everyone needs one of him.
The pairing of the two was hot intermingled with crime-stopping investigations. The author kept you guessing throughout the story who was behind the whole thing. The reader wasn’t completely sure until the end. Definitely kept me guessing. I love reading books that are able to do that. I give this book a 4 out of 5.

Jennessy, fresh out of a relationship with her cheating ex-boyfriend, boards a plane to explore her wild side at a resort for singles looking for "fun". Originally scheduled to go as a couple, she finds herself single, and sitting next to Saxby Cole on the plane. One too many rum punches later, and she makes a move on him only to be gently rejected.

Saxby (Sax) Cole is assigned to go undercover and gather information on who is drugging women at a wild singles resort, he wasn’t expecting to be right in the middle of all the action. After posing as a geeky financial guy, and getting hit on by an attractive woman that he sat next to on the plane, he dives head first into the resort’s single scene trying to get intel on the elicit behavior. After an evening of intentionally bad introductions, he confesses to the resort coordinator that he was hoping for a sure thing. Some real action with a woman.

Willie, the on-site dating coordinator, thinks he has another sucker on his hands and makes a deal to hook up Sax with a woman who is “primed and ready” for him. After telling Sax that woman is just liquored up and loose, and that Willie would go back and retrieve her to help him avoid the awkward morning after conversations, Willie delivers none other than Jennessy.

Stumbling and obviously under the influence, he takes her back to his room and tries to determine what she’s been given. Jennessy, open to suggestions and seduction due to her drugged state, tries to come on to Sax again. Luckily, he discovers she was given Ketamine, helps her sober up, and the next morning explains what really happened.

The two join forces trying to find other women that have been drugged, trying to uncover a drug and prostitution operation, and bring down those in charge. Of course, this happens while the two of them pretend to be a couple, Sax helping Jennessy explore the wild side of herself. What is most dangerous to them both, of course, is their feelings for each other and what will happen once their time at the resort ends.
The story is full of excitement, sexual tension (and some action), and suspense. While this is the third in the Justiss Alliance series, it can be read as a stand-alone. The other books in this series are just as good, fans of this series will not be disappointed.

I have read all of the Justiss series they have been outstanding reads. You have the thrill, mystery, passion, along with sparks that fly, tempters raise, fighting, action and of course there is love. Who could turn down these wonderful reads. Tina doesn’t let you down in her latest Wild Nights, lordy lordy lordy there are some wild nights in this read. This and all the Justiss Alliance series are interesting reads that will keep you turning the pages wanting more. The author has a wonderful writing style that draws you in, things are never as they seem and she keeps you on the edge of your seats, holding your breath waiting to see what she has in store for you. This author writes a compelling story about serious issues that are in the world today. She takes it very seriously but at the same time let’s her characters have a little fun which will keep you smiling. It is a well balanced story with wonderful characters, a wonderful plot that will pull you in and keep your interest.

Saxby is on a mission to find out if a very wild resort is using a date rape drug. He isn’t there for any action his self but he does seem to find his self in a few compromising issues. He does have his hand full with Jennessy who seems to be throwing herself at him. All at once she seems to have more hands then he knows how to hold. Will our hero take her as her word for a little action or will he do the respectable thing? We now are pretty sure the date drug is being used, by who? Why? For what reason? What the heck is he going to do about Jennessy? What a lovely mess he is in since he doesn’t commit to long term relationships, but man she is something else.

Jennessy what a mess she is, she just found her long term boyfriend in bed with some chic. What does she do, she breaks up and goes on their trip together without him. She was hoping to bring the passion back into the relationship by taking a walk on the wild side. That walk just might have been a little more wilder then she wanted to take. She gets in a few messes and Saxby will have to help her out in one way or another.

Tina Wainscott is another one of my favorite authors who never lets me down. She is a wonderful storyteller who always keeps my interest. I am always waiting for her next book to be released and it is never soon enough. As an author Wainscott grows with each book she writes, each one better than the one before. I love this series and cannot wait for the next one.

This is the third book in the Justiss Alliance series, I was concerned I needed to read the first two books but this one can be read as a stand alone. I do, now want to read the other two books to learn the stories of the other ex-Navy SEALs and their lady loves.

I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Saxby Cole is an ex-Navy SEAL who has only ever committed to his SEAL brothers and to getting the bad guys. After being discharged from the SEALs along with 4 of his brothers from a mission gone bad he starts to work for the Justiss Alliance. He is put undercover to get information on a possible date rape drug ring at a resort in the Bahamas. He meets Jennessy Shaw who is fresh out of a long term relationship. Taking the Caribbean trip without her cheating ex to find out if she has a wild side. Sax and Jennessy click right away on the plane. Unfortunately Sax is undercover and can't act on his attraction to Jennessy and immediately rejects her advances. Jennessy feels horrible and tries to avoid Sax once they get to the resort. Jennessy becomes a victim of the date rape drug ring and ends up in Sax's room. They start working together to find out who is behind getting women at the resort drugged and selling them for sex to guests. There is danger, there is some intrigue and along way Sax and Jennessy become involved their relationship turns sexual. Sax swears its not in his DNA to be monogamous, Jennessy tries to convince him he is selling himself short. She sees a completely different man than Sax believes he is. I found him sexy though somewhat silly at times for thinking it was in his genetics to not be faithful. But I guess growing up around men who constantly cheated gave him a false sense of what relationships should be. Jennessy was a tough girl who gave as good as she got. The small spots of the other guys in the Justiss Alliance had me wanting to go back and read Risk and Julian's story. I am also very interesting in Knox and Chases' stories as well. Also Chad who lost is legs Sax's cousin there's a great story there I am sure. If you like a bit of adventure with your romance this is the book for you.
