A dragon shifter series set in the same world as the Bride Hunt books
Since the death of his mate – a death he is responsible for – Druze has dedicated his life to finding a cure for the fertility problems surrounding species females. For years, he’s worked day and night to qualify as a healer. There is still so much for him to learn.
Druze is shocked when he’s enlisted to find a cure for a life-threatening illness. A terrible disease that has claimed the lives of so many of the Feral species. Surely there are those more qualified for this role. Unfortunately, he knows only too well as to why he was chosen. It is a chance for him to repent. A chance to redeem himself, if only by a small margin. Druze will never be able to atone for the hurt he caused. For the pain, the suffering…for her death. It is not possible! Nonetheless, he will tackle the task with the ardor it deserves.
It’s a race against the clock, with not just one, but two lives in the balance. Druze feels out of his depth. It’s a task he can’t possibly perform alone and so procures the help of an avian veterinarian and a gynecologist. Both human. The one is a male and the other a female. The male is cocky and arrogant, but the best in his field. The male’s attitude is an irritation Druze is willing to ignore. The female is highly skilled, extremely intelligent and breathtakingly beautiful. The latter could prove to be a distraction. Not to him, of course, but to the team dynamic. He’ll have to play it by ear.
A lady would have to be blind or deaf not to notice the gorgeous dragon shifter leading the team. He's that sexy. That intriguing. He also happens to be no-nonsense and all business. He’s dark and brooding, even angry at times. Rude too if she’s going to get picky. She’s sure there’s a reason behind his attitude.
Dr. Brittney Baker is all for finding a cure for…clutch sickness – a new one to her – but surely they could get to know one outside of working hours? She has caught him looking at her once or twice. Britt knows that look. It is a look that causes her cheeks to heat, and her stomach to tighten. Why is he fighting it? There is an attraction there. One that could get hot and heavy if given half the chance.
No cheating! Contains hot alpha males and therefore strong sexual themes/language.
Charlene lives on an acre in the country with her husband, three children and an array of pets including a snake. In her spare time you can usually find her typing away franticly on the computer completely lost in worlds of her making. She is an avid believer that it is the small things that truly matter like the feeling you get when you start reading a new book or a particularly beautiful sunset. Charlene likes to write bite stories her readers can sink their teeth into. Sign up for her latest release newsletter for more information http://mad.ly/signups/96708/join
Doctor Dragon is a wonderful story. I wasn't too into the first book that goes with this one, Feral Dragon. Doctor Dragon starts where that one ended. We finally get the full story on Druze and what happened between him and his first mate. We also find out what happens with the feral pregnancies which is the whole point of these two books right? And we get a sweet and I think great love story between Druze and Britt.
This is one of my favorites of the Earth Dragon sagas!
Still love the series but editing gets worse w every book!
I have been a fan of the series since the vampire kings but I’ve noticed that in the last several books editing has been sorely lacking! I absolutely despise grammatical errors and typos (who noticed the title of the book wasn’t written correctly above)? But when a character’s name changes several times throughout the novel it makes it more difficult to read. Stone was referred to as Talon on more than one occasion, which should have easily been caught bc at the time Cordia was being examined. In another book Rock and Stone was used while talking about the same person and I’m still not sure if Rock is another character or Macy slept w/ Stone before meeting Sand. Please do better, send out Arcs if necessary!
Doctor Dragon is the sixth book in the Earth Dragons series, which follows The Bride Hunt series. The story revolves around dragons who meet the one and their lives are changed forever. But there are dramas along the way. That's when the fun begins.
While each book can be enjoyed as a standalone, it's best to read them in order to fully appreciate the rich paranormal elements and exciting themes they offer. The characters must fight to stay alive, but what they discover is even more significant than they ever imagined.
I love the strong, sexy alpha males in protective roles!

My review
When a hotheaded woman clashes with a cold-blooded dragon, sparks fly and clothes drop ...
It has been so long since I have read a Mrs Hartnady’s novels, I missed her shifters and strong women stories. I checked, I have yet the two previous installments in this Earth Dragon series to read, but I didn’t felt lost. I like the women are often older and not fit like many contemporary/paranormal stories. Those women have bodies with curves and are often on the plump side. Brittney should be satisfied, she has a successful business but of late, it feels like enough but she signs up for an adventure, helping pregnant women bring shifters babies to world safely. What she did not expect what to be attracted to her boss, a headstrong focused shifter. Druze knows he must stay devoted to his task, it is why he worked so hard, and he won’t let his lust for the ob-gyn woman derail everything. Their relationship is one of angst, craving and cold showers, until they sort out what they really need and want. I usually complain when the women in romance have their knees failing them or when they loose their wits when lust driven but Mrs Charlene Hartnady attributs the same affection to her heroes, so they are on equal grounds. Why I recommend every novels by this author, with heroes only dedicated to win and please their women even when they act like pricks. 4.5 stars for this entertaining tale.
Druze hires two human doctors that specialise in their fields, to help figure out what’s causing infertility amongst some of the females of each species, but first they need to find out about the Feral species as they have two females currently pregnant, that need to have a solution❣️
However, Druze and Brittney could never have accounted for the fact that while they do their research into the possible causes, that their attraction would grow stronger by the day😍
Loved this story and I can’t wait to read more about the Ferals❤️
Did not like the hero. He was vicious and mean to the heroine. Even though he had a sad past oh, there was no reason to treat her so terribly. What was also frustrating was that right after he said very nasty things to her, she jumped in the sack with him a second time. He was nasty to her over and over and she was quick to forgive every time.

It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This is book six of six in The Earth Dragons series. (Set in the same world The Chosen Series)

I highly recommend to everyone.
Druze is a doctor qualified in the dragon way and has received his medical degree from Harvard University. He lost his wife, Amethyst, 8 years previously and has turned away from being the top warrior that he had been in order to help his race in a different way. He now feels that he has a better chance of finding a cure for the infertility of the dragon females. But Vicky, a human woman mated to a Feral male goes into heat. At the same time Cordia, a Feral female, mates with an Earth dragon and goes into heat without realising it. Both are at risk of clutch sickness and Druze decides that the sensible thing to do is to bring in two human doctors to help research the possibility of stopping that from happening. Dr Brittney Baker already knows about the dragons and is a top Ob-Gyn. Dr Craig Burgess is a veterinarian specialising in bird diseases. Since the Feral Dragons lay eggs, Druze feels that his expertise is also needed. The problem begins when he lays eyes on Britt and feels an overwhelming need for her. The fact that Britt is also drawn to him doesn’t help because there can be nothing between them; he has vowed to devote his life to his work in atonement for Amethyst. Stone, Gordia’s mate and twin to Amethyst, doesn’t help the situation. A good ending to the Earth Dragon series.
The books starts out really good but goes down hill quick. You would want to keep hearing about the stuff they are working on in the lab and how they find out what could be the reason for those women dying while in labor. The book starts out like that and you do want to know what they find, who tells what etc. But all that info is cut out, instead you get a lot of back and forth between him and her, not only that it is annoying, it is also teenager like and just getting on my nerves reading this bs. And then you get a happy end and you still are lacking on what they did in the lab and how they found out what. This book is disappointing, to put it mild. Less stupid nonsense talk between the two and more of the story line would have made this book a good book. But the Author did not do that. So it sucks big time. One of the worse books in this series. Really is. So if you like childish talk between teenagers, ridiculous , the book is for you. It is not for me.
Well it definitely took awhile to get Druze and Britt together. The tension that mounted and everything leading up to it was palpable though and when Druze finally caved it was scorching. Poor Druze put up with years of people thinking the worst of him along with his own self hatred and self imposed punishment. What happened to his old mate was tragic but glad the truth finally came out thanks to Britt who believed in him. Britt and Druze aren't done yet and can hopefully continue to help/cure the infertility issues with other species. I'm excited for what is in store and how things will play if the doctors keep on their successful path.
Another good shifter story in this series, Druze a Dragon that has studied to become a doctor to help the females of his and other species to have children and is leading a team to try and unravel the mystery behind the clutch sickness of the feral it is very serious and demanding work. Dr Baker who has some experience with the feral is bought in as part of the team fireworks are immediate between the two even though they fight it love wins through. This is a good story covering infertility dangerous births and severe depression.
This was hands down my favorite out of the other book’s interesting in the saga. This had the most tension, denial, buildup, fake dating I could ever ask for. Compared to the last book, Stone annoyed me more than usual. Like I hated how he acted and not even understanding his friends grief to losing his previous lover. I wish the love between the heroine and hero was more focused, because I loved them sm. Yes, we have to help with 3 pregnancies but I wanted more lol. Let alone I feel like every ending is somewhat always unsatisfying. But hands down enjoyed the read!
Three stories in one... I do wish they had been there for Sand and Macy babies... But they were there for Ralph's and Stone's babies. And of course the Doc fell for the Baby Doc. I guess I am gonna read the water dragons series next then the Feral series... Love Charlene Hartnady stories.
Doctor Dragon, book 6 of Charlene Hartnady's Earth Dragons series is wonderful. The characters are all amazing. The depth of the storyline is beyond critical. Druze and Brittany are perfect for each other. The past is sometimes had go let go of and even harder to face. Together they find a way.
Holey Moley what a fabulous ending to the Earth dragon series. The characters and world building in this whole series has been fantastic and exciting!!! The love and friendships that have been built throughout now amazing I am excited to read more about these dragons and other species in the future!!!!!
I loved this one .you can't stop having feelings or the chemistry between two people. I'm glad the Dr.s finally figured out theirs. This book had me I'm.n my moods, didn't know if I wanted to laugh or cry . From chapter to chapter these two kept me turning the pages. Stone can be such a butt hole.
Liked this series I enjoyed that they were addressing the issues of three females it felt like they had been ignored mostly till the lady book. I'm glad they finished on a hopefully note for both females and males. The series was gripping and I loved all of the books 📚. Highly recommended
Another phone installment in this series. Characters you can't help but like and a storyline that's very well developed. One I will definitely enjoy re-reading in the future.
With the dragons has been very lovely. Just a feel good book with some surprising twists. I enjoyed all the fire, air, earth and water dragons. Hope there is a air spinoff as well.
This was a really emotional, funny & erotic story. None of those things should work together, but they do. MS. Hart navy has really excelled with this series. You will laugh, you might cry & you might blush from time to time.
The Bride Hunt books and The Earth Dragon books need to be read in that order. Charlene Hartnady is a brilliant author. The stories suck you in and you become part of the action. I highly recommend these books.
These have been three of the best series that I have read! Love the way the series have moved from one to the other . I only hope you will do the Air Dragons next. They all have become friends and I look forward to reading more
Awesome! I couldn't think of any other way to describe this series. Maybe Excellent might help. There was so much suspense, action and drama as well as romance. The romantic scenes was off the charts. I can't wait to read the other books when they come out.
I only found Charlene 's books very recently and wish it had been sooner!! I love all the Dragon books and admit not writing very many reviews because I couldn't stop reading enough to write one! Any lover of Dragon books needs to read these!!!
Another dragon shifter who has a past causing him to be cruel to Dr. Baker with no discernible reason. Brittany gives as good as she gets but Druze is incorrigible.
I love Dragon romance stories and this particular romance was really entertaining. The push and pull between the lovers kept my interest. My only problem was that the ending seemed anticlimactic. It was a very good romance.
The romance between Britt and Druez is contentious until it isn't. While solutions were offered, I had hoped more emphasis would be placed on the research. Overall, good series.
I'm sorry this story/series is over but hope you finish it because it was amazing!
Stone and Brit was an awesome story! The love that have for each other might have had a rough patch but the support and love that Brit gave Stone healed him.
