Wolf Hunt by Paige Tyler is the sixth book in the SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team paranormal romantic suspense series. Set in contemporary times in Dallas, Texas, this novel features Remy Boudreaux and Triana Bellamy. I am continuing to get caught up on this series with two more books left to get current.

The Special Weapons and Tactics team are members of the Dallas police force. This one starts with Remy’s story of how he became a werewolf in the prologue. As it moves to current times, Remy and three of his co-workers have arrived in New Orleans for some cross-training with the local tactical unit. This cross-training means they will have to be careful and hide their supernatural abilities. As they walk through the French Quarter, Remy sense a tantalizing scent and finds his high school crush, Triana.

Ever since Remy’s partner and first love, Jess, was killed on the job, he’s kept women at a distance. However, he and Triana struggle to keep things casual. At the same time, wolf pendant and raids with the local tactical team keep them both busy and puts them in danger.

Remy is competitive, charming, hates paperwork, and appreciates learning a new skill. However, he blames himself for Jess’s death and is determines to never fall in love again. Triana is confident, energetic, intelligent, and curious. She works in the forensics laboratory in Houston, Texas.
The crisp and engaging writing style of the author quickly drew me into the story. The world-building is well done, and the storyline is gripping. I was easily transported to New Orleans, although I missed the rest of the Dallas team for most of the story. The action-packed novel features murder, drugs, betrayal, romance, found family, and more.

With a unique take on how people become werewolves, this story is filled with several twists and turns. This one adds another layer of complexity to the supernatural world. How will this play out in future books? Danger, heart-breaking moments, great world-building and excellent characterization kept this reader awake until the book was finished.

The author explores the two main characters’ emotions allowing readers to easily connect with them. There are a couple of steamy scenes in the middle of the book and it is a rapid romance as one expects with a fated-mates story.

Overall, this is a fast-paced, tense, and exciting novel that’s full of danger, secrets, action, and drama. If you enjoy entertaining paranormal romantic suspense novels, then I recommend you check out this series.

I purchased a copy of this novel. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own. This book was originally published on June 06, 2017.

Paige Tyler you've gone and done it again! Superb, brilliant and easy to read

I only have a very small gripe and I mean, very small.... The ending could have played out somewhat more... I wanted to know more about Triana and the possibilities that her DNA may have/hide, I wanted to know if she was infact part wolf... However, this could come to light with the dawning of those Hunters , the looming story line that seems to hold the promise of battle.... but we shall see...

This book, Wolf Hunt dealt us the best hand again, I loved Remy and Triana and how they already knew each other... I love the idea of our delicious wolves finding the one and now we know why so many of the pack are actually finding this to be as common as what it is for them. Normally this is a rare, if ever, happening and knowing why it is happening now gives us pause for thought.... for the thought of that pending war...

I love SWAT and I love the way these stories are written... I am always left thirsty for the next installment and it's no different this time...

Bring on Wolf Hunger!!!

Talk about your brooding, alpha male/were-wolf! Remy sure knows how to nourish those emotional scars.

This was great installment in the SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series. Although, it did have some interaction and mention of the pack characters, I missed it being at home base. Okay, I missed the past character interaction that happens when its at home base.

I found WOLF HUNT to be highly entertaining. Tyler's writing keeps the chemistry burning bright between Remy and Triana while getting the readers blood pumping with the action intense, suspense filled plot. If you are looking for a really great alpha shifter tale, I highly recommend WOLF HUNT.

I received this ARC copy of Wolf Hunt from SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca. This is my honest and voluntary review. Wolf Hunt is set for publication June 6, 2017.

Throughout the Swat series, there appears to be a gearing up for trouble, big trouble and the air among the wolves is getting thicker, tenser. The fact that more wolves are finding their soul mates is both unusual and thought-provoking, and Alpha wolf, Remy Boudreaux is next up to take that trip on the paranormal “love boat.”

As the Dallas SWAT team trains in New Orleans, the city where nothing paranormal seems unusual, Remy catches a scent…and once again, Fate steps in, finding Remy’s mate, a girl he knew along ago.

Triana may have been pretty in high school, but now she is a fascinating beauty and she is Remy’s. No doubt about it, and the dance of love begins with flirtation, insinuation and daring, all wrapped up in a few humor moments that makes one want to wink and smirk, heck the rest of the SWAT team is.

Even in a city known for its party life, evil is writhing beneath the surface and a clueless Triana becomes a pawn in a game of power, drugs, a mysterious pendant and control. Hiding their wolfish tendencies can be difficult when not on home turf, but a power-hungry mob boss knows more than he should and Tiana will become his bargaining chip in a game that will bring hidden secrets to light, uncover dark revelations and bring the alphas together to protect their own.

What Triana learns about her family and the man she loves will test her very soul.

Paige Tyler’s WOLF HUNT gives new meaning to insta-love, and I do mean instant. I liked both Remy and Triana but the star of this tale was actually Triana’s mother and I would LOVE to learn more about that gutsy and grounded lady. A good read, and I do want more from these wolves, but for me, a little too neat and tidy.

I received an ARC edition from Sourcebooks in exchange for my honest review.

WOLF HUNT is the sixth installment to the SWAT series. I’ve been on and off this series for some time now. While I really enjoyed the first couple of books, I have been a little less impressed by the newer ones. Going into this book, I was really hoping for a win.

For me, this book is an okay one. It starts off very well with the opening chapter. I found that I was intrigued by Remy because of the fact that he lost someone who he loved dearly. That was really nice to see in the beginning. But what I didn’t understand is that in the very next chapter, he instantly falls in love with the heroine of this book. I think Triana is a very nice character but the instalove was almost immediate and I found that extremely strange since I expected him to be still hurt over losing his previous lover. I just didn’t see the point of having the two chapters together.

I liked this series because it used to be a good balance of Romantic Suspense and Paranormal Romance. However, I do think that the author has changed things and made it more Suspense oriented. I do feel like the paranormal aspect has taken a backseat and the worldbuilding isn’t as good. Since I do prefer PNR over Romantic Suspense, I’m not sure if I’ll be continuing this series. I feel like the focus has really changed from the first couple of books, which I was a big fan of.

In Wolf Hunt, we have a thrilling and on your toes romance that is full of mystery, intrigue, actions and suspense and a fiery hot filled romance that I guarantee will curl your toes. Our exciting story, begins with our hero. The story sets off pretty quickly, and we see Remy working with his partner, to bring down three criminals who are torturing a young family. In the chaos, they end up losing more than they though, because Remy lost the woman he loved, and almost lost his life and found himself to be a werewolf. Now he is working with a team, doing some training exercises, and investigating a crime lord dealing drugs, when he finds himself following a special unique scent, a woman he hasn't seen in years, a woman he knew in high school and cared deeply for. Triana, works for the medical examiner's office, and while out dancing runs into the sexiest man she has ever known. These two are practically dynamite together, but there are some ghosts from the past that may keep them from finding their happy ending.

In Wolf Hunt,  Paige Tyler overwhelms the reader will sexy romance and a edge of your seat action filled book. And boy did I love the way she wrote this book. It was nice to see a different setting and boy did I love the New Orleans setting. I can never get enough of it, and Tyler did a great job balancing it out with the story and it really seemed to work for this pair especially with the whole paranormal element of werewolves here. I loved seeing high school friends come back together. But there is much more going on than a simple friends to lovers romance. We have a murder mystery going on as well and a dangerous drug crime lord. Triana is investigating her father's murder, which only draws more attention to her and her mother. Triana has to learn about the truth behind her father's death, and who she really is.

The characters in this novel are simply fantastic. Lets set our main couple on the side line while I talk about some of my favorite side characters that really made this book come alive. First off is Triana's mother. She was brilliant and a fighter. She is beyond wise, and deals with a little magic now and then. I like that she understands Triana and her relationship with Remy from the beginning. She has a very unique personality that I was instantly drawn to, very vibrant and even though her husband was brutally murdered, she hasn't let what happened to her effect who she is or how she treats others.
First off, I think you get little credit for being friends with Remy in high school. It's not as if you just met the man two days ago, you know. Even if you had, there's nothing crazy about falling fast. It simply means fate put you in front of the man you were meant to be with. There's nothing insane about that. In fact, its magical
We do have a true villain in the story as well, he is obsessed, and truly evil at the core and very power hungry. He was downright mentally crazy and he definitely gets what he deserves.

The romance that builds between our two characters is at first seen as a fling, since these two were once friends, and are only in New Orleans for a short time. Triana lives in Houston and Remy in Dallas. So these two aren't looking for anything permenent, But it soon becomes something more but Remy isn't as open as Triana is for a relationship. He is still half in love with his dead partner, and doesn't believe he can open his heart again. So Remy has to learn to fight for what he has found with Triana and not let fear take control. And Triana learns that she needs to fight for Remy, and for what they have together.

This story was such an exciting and thrilling ride, and I adored every moment getting back in touch with this series with a truly fun setting with lively characters and a love story to tempt you to jump into the pages!!!

Laissez les bon temps roulez for Remy and a few others of the SWAT team when training brings them to the Big Easy. A high school crush, a voodoo shop, a crime boss, and Remy must bring out the wolf to get the job done.

Wolf Hunt is the sixth installment of the action-packed SWAT series featuring a secret Alpha werewolf pack dedicated to each other and their work as DPD SWAT. If I had one hang up about the last few books, as much as I liked them, they were starting to feel a little same ol' thing. Well that certainly got addressed with a fresh setting and some filling in and expansion of the werewolf lore in this one.

Remy, unlike the others, has no desire to find his The One after loving and losing, but now that is being confused with a high school crush returned to his life and a second chance for both of them since Triana crushed on him, too. I enjoyed the dynamics of their romance even as I looked for a cool glass of refreshment after reading their smoldering encounters.

The action side of the story was a two-pronged current drug investigation and an older cold case. It was great getting some good SWAT werewolf action.

In summary, I loved how this latest story, Wolf Hunt, breathed new life into the series and look forward to what is to come as the confrontation with the werewolf hunters edges ever closer for the SWAT wolves. If you love a combo of paranormal and romantic suspense, this is a great series to pick up.

My thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Paranormal romance is not my preferred genre, but I view it as a fun change of pace. It's not too far off from romantic suspense and in paranormal romance, Paige Tyler is a go to author for me.

When this series started, I was originally really intrigued by it. However, each book of the series started seeming a little too been there done that. This is book #6 and the first half of this book really didn't do anything for me and I was debating whether the series had run its course.

And there I am being bored and thinking re-tread and been there/done that, and then book takes that turn that makes it more interesting. The death of Triana's dad has brought another layer to this series. The werewolf hunters aspect of the series is really intriguing and sets the series up for some good plot potential.

One of the supporting characters that brings something new to the table and is interesting is Gemma, Trianna's mom. Somewhat of a voodoo priestess she could bring some interesting depth to this series and I hope she returns in future books.

Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read an ARC.

It definitely is not a standalone. There was a lot of a reunion feel, like it may have read better if you read the entire series in order.

This series is still as engrossing as it was when I read the first book but I'm really glad that the story moved from Dallas to a new location and what better setting than sultry, sexy and mystical New Orleans. As usual, Ms. Tyler combines fast-paced action with sizzling hot chemistry in this installment and will leave you itching to get your hands on the next book as soon as possible.

Remy Boudreaux is back in New Orleans after a long time for a training with the city's SWAT unit and ready to enjoy the pleasures of the city with his team mates but fate throws a wrench in those plans almost immediately when he reconnects with his high school crush, Triana Bellamy. Even though he intends to keep their reunion casual and lighthearted, nothing seems to be going according to plan. Could Triana be The One for him? Besides, after the loss of his girlfriend and partner, Remy has no intention of falling love ever again, but fate has other things in store for him.

With Triana and her mom in the cross-hairs of a mob boss looking for immortality and her father's death linked to this quest, Remy finds himself embroiled in a game of cat and mouse where he's not sure which he is, a game that will reveal even more sinister secrets and he will need the help of his team to defeat this enemy.

I liked that Triana and Remy's relationship was mostly easy and straightforward, and the drama was focused on other things, but my favorite character was Triana’s mom and I would love to see her in future installments. I did have a few misgivings about how neatly their past and present as well as Remy's relationship with his late girlfriend lined up, but it was still a very enjoyable read and I definitely will recommend this to lovers of romantic suspense or paranormal romance.

I love the buildup of suspense that spans the whole series and putting together the tiny clues the author doles out in each installment. It's obvious that there is about to be a big showdown between the wolves and a rogue group and I can't wait for the next book to get here!

Pretty sure I've never been so happy to finish a book.. ever (aka recently ever). This wasn't helped by the fact that I had no time to read while spending time with family and so it felt like this installment in the SWAT series lasted for-fucking-years. And for those few times I managed to get through a chapter or two prior to being interrupted I felt the immediate urge to nap.

This was the worst of the lot but there's only one more to go. Then buh-bye to this series/author.

I started out with high hopes for Paige Tyler’s SWAT series, liking the idea of a police SWAT team comprising alpha wolves and the surprising levity that came with Tyler’s storytelling. The idea has sunk in no…few books later and when it comes to setting up action and suspense, I’d be the first to say that ‘Wolf Hunt’ does well. I liked the New Orleans setting for one—the mystical bits especially seemed to gel quite well with the whole werewolf mythology and the unsolved case of Triana’s father’s murder that fell in line along with it. The bigger plot here is that there is an ongoing drug war that SWAT is facing as they fight to keep it off the streets. The cases are peripherally linked in some ways and Triana’s werewolf father adds a twist to the mix.

There are pitfalls though with this series—which is clearly something that affects just me.

I think the problem is that the idea of the werewolf’s soulmate—at least in Paige Tyler’s mythology—conveniently permits ‘destined’ couples to hook up early and without much of a period where even the possibility of being together is considered. But the insertion of paranormal elements, while exciting, reduces the impact of the romance itself because these elements seem to justify the existence of stereotypical character behaviour in this SWAT series and compromising character depth in favour of plot and action.

Tyler's SWAT men are macho and testosterone filled—more so because they’re wolves—with a sexual appetite to boot (and therefore can tomcat around because their ‘primal sides’ need it), yet fall prey to the One woman (instant love) who can and will tame them after they’ve sampled all that other women have to offer, succumbing to several of the biggest clichés in romance in one fell swoop. It’s all attributed to fate rather than deliberate thought or action on the part of the characters, which just feels like a rehash of the romance trope of the free-swinging manwhore who is downed by one woman in the end.

In the opening chapters, after a brief explanation of being each other’s high school crushes that ultimately went nowhere, Remy and Triana dance, kiss and already plan for a hookup, effectively cancelling the sexual tension or at least some kind of build-up that could have had the readers on tenterhooks. Much of it is explained as though this hookup is merely a way of seizing the opportunity when they’d missed it so long ago and the chemistry that somehow instantly fizzled between them wasn’t entirely believable, especially not after a huge period of separation and losing touch.

Yet it’s as though the years have disappeared and suddenly, physical attraction is king when Triana is no longer the awkward, gangly girl that Remy can find himself ‘safely’ attracted to. Their background is pretty much angst-free, but I had the feeling that getting Remy and Triana together quickly was something get over with (coupled with typical descriptions that no other woman felt like her despite having slept with plenty), rather than it being the main part of the story, considering the action and the werewolf revelation to come, which made their underdeveloped, straight-to-sex relationship sort of trite.

Remy’s confession that he’d loved her since high school however, ruined the romance for me as it seemed not only to cheapen his previous relationship with Jess (whom he’d first claimed was the love of his life) but also the ‘one true pairing’ with Triana which he didn’t do a thing about back then.

Again, these are clearly my own issues with the SWAT team; ‘Wolf Hunt’ disappointed me in several ways but my fondness for this series means I can't quite let it go…just yet.

A little change of scenery--this time sultry NOLA-- but all the sexy alpha werewolf deliciousness you'd expect from Tyler. Wolf Hunt was full of action, heat, romance and an oh-so-lickable werewolf or two.

Alright so basically Remy and some of the guys have been sent to NOLA for cross training with another SWAT and on their first night a tantalizing scent catches his nose and sends him on the chase. And brings him face to face with his high school crush-- who might have crushed on him way back in the day, too. And, yes, fireworks...everywhere. A little reminiscing, a little danger, a whole lotta chemistry and lusty feelings they do ensue...

Remy and Triana are good people that are easy to fall for. I liked that they had that little bit of history, too, and the familiarity that brought even though they'd not seen each other in years. They still had that connection which made their whirlwind relationship work for me in a nostalgic kind of way. They were sexy together and sweet, too. All kinds of lusty goodness happening and a little bit of nekkid action, too. Noms!

I did think the romance took a bit of a back seat this time-- not a bad thing!-- to focus on action of a different sort. First with the guys. It was neat seeing half of the guys working with a different SWAT and training with them, getting swept up in one of their cases, etc. And then with Triana who is looking for her father's killer and spending time with her mom at the family voodoo shop since she was in town on vacation. There was a good spot of danger and intrigue on both parts. It was an interesting change of pace not having the whole team together but still enough of the team connection to keep me happy.

All in all, Tyler writes a damn yummy alpha werewolf that'll make your heart race and leave you panting for more. Wolf Hunt was a wolfish good time.

3, maybe 3.5 stars

This series just keeps getting better and better. Romance, werewolves, action, mystery, magic; there's pretty much something for everyone. I'm also loving the hunter storyline; it adds a more realistic, not to mention darker, element to the series and helps tie all of the books together.

So Remy and a handful of other members of the Dallas SWAT team are in New Orleans for a training session. It's also Remy's hometown and while he's there he runs into an old crush, Triana. Their fiends to lovers romance was nicely done, and I loved Triana's mom. Remy, who really ought to have known better after watching his teammates find their One mate, resists the very thought that Triana could be his One, despite all of the signs. As a result of his denial, he pulls some stupid moves, and makes Triana cry, the dimwit. Triana and Remy were good together; both smart, feisty, and stubborn, they looked out for each other and took care of each other. Even after Remy pushes Triana away (stubborn wolf), he's right there when she needs help. And Triana was a clever lady who thought fast on her feet. She may not have rescued herself but she did a decent job of keeping calm and coming up with a plan.

Seeing Remy and the other Dallas wolves interact with the New Orleans SWAT team was fun. They had to restrain themselves and not use their wolf abilities during training since they were working with humans. The change of pace from Dallas was nice and I hope we'll see some of the NO swat members again.

There were several story threads and subplots which all came together as the story progressed. I guessed at a few of them, they seemed obvious to me, while a couple surprised me. There was a good balance of action and romance, though I would have liked a little more wolf time than we got. The story kept me reading, wanting to see how long it took Remy to come to his senses, and wanting to see how certain threads played out. I mentioned the hunters earlier. A recent addition to the series, they add a grittier edge and I am curious to see how they will affect our SWAT team and their growing pack of beta wolves. Tyler's spin on werewolves is developing nicely and I like her take on them. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Paige Tyler

This is Remy and Triana's suspense love story. This book has it all, hot sexy alpha males, murder and suspense, shifting werewolves, and a bunch of sexy scenes. This was my first Paige Tyler book and she rocked it. I will definitely looking for more of her books in the future. This is book 6 in this series but can be read as a standalone with no problems. This was great book from start to finish.

A storm is brewing for more than just Louisiana, which is the location of the latest book in the SWAT series. The hunters who have been killing Beta and Omega werewolves all over the US seem to have a reason for their madness that is going to lead to one heck of a showdown in future books.

For Wolf Hunt the story is taken out of Texas and moved to New Orleans where Remy Boudreaux is from and where he and a couple of his Dallas SWAT team go for a week of training. They are not in town long before he picks up a familiar sent a woman, Triana Bellamy, he went to school with. The two never acted on their feelings as teenagers but now the attraction is so strong neither can ignore.

Remy and team get embroiled in helping the local PD they are training with in the take down a crime boss. As this is ongoing Triana whose father was brutally killed years ago is searching for answers on who did it. What neither know is there a connection between those two things along with some surprise revelations for Triana.

I've always like stories that are in Louisiana which is so culturally diverse. Mixing the voodoo culture with a pack of werewolves makes for a great story. Each of these books seem to be leading up to something big between the Alpha pack and the Hunters. Cant wait to see what's coming next.

Oh dear, match alpha male shifters with military special ops and a New Orleans accent and we just overloaded on testosterone. I really tried with this but it was the accent which made me throw in the towel.

ARC REVIEW

Wolf Hunt book six in Paige Tyler's SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series. I loved it. I enjoy the suspense and the action and I'm a big fan of intsa-love. I also enjoy how the paranormal aspect plays second fiddle to the rest of the story, yeah it comes into play more so in this one than the others the fact that they are shifters is mainly for the romance side of the story. If you are new to the series the Dallas SWAT is a group of alpha wolf shifter, in the previous five books we have seen the introduction to the betas, a more submissive wolf shifter, and the omega shifters which are crazed shifters who are more animal than man. The Team has also begun to find their "One true mate" they can mate with anyone but the the One is the one person in this world destined to be with the shifter it is a rare thing that the guys originally thought was only a legend.

Like with the other books this one starts off on the traumatic experience that triggered their shifter DNA. Remy was a DEA agent who was in love with his partner and as you can guess it ended badly. Skip ahead almost half a dozen years later and Remy, Max, Jayden, and Zane are all in New Orleans for some cross-training with NOPD SWAT. For Remy it is also a trip home. The boys are out enjoying the nightlife when Remy gets a whiff of something good and follows it. When he finds the source he also finds his old school friend Triana and boom Remy finds his One True love, even though he's not going to admit it yet. Triana is only in town visiting her mother it's just happenstance that she is there the same time as Remy. Remy, whom she had such a crush on in high school and one of her dearest friends until they lost contact in college. Triana went on to study Forensic science and began working at one of the best labs in Texas in Houston.

The cross-training is going well but soon the buys are asked to take part in an active case, one where they can't pin down the new person in town bringing in drugs. Remmy and the other guys know who it is they just have to find the evidence that will nail him unfortunately this guy has a big political face and anything short of ironclad is just going to make the NOPD look like fools. Also Triana and her mom are having so trouble a mysterious person wants to buy an amulet that belonged to Triana's father. Triana's father was brutally murdered when she was in college and they never found the person responsible. Now someone is willing to go as far as needed to get the amulet that Triana's father wore and Remy isn't going to let anything happen to Triana or her mother because now that he has found her again he is not willing to let her go that easily.

Overall, this was a really good read. I'm just in love with every book so far, Tyler's active setting is fantastic and her romance always smokin' hot.

WOLF HUNT is high on suspense and action with a wonderfully steamy romance which makes it yet another excellent installment of this series. I'm a fan of suspense, so I was pretty okay with the romance taking a back seat to the cool, intense, and dangerous plot revolving around a certain aspect of werewolf mythology. This by no way means that the romance isn't integral to the plot or incredibly sweet and sexy. It's just worked into the story more so than the romances were in the previous books.

I love the ever expanding werewolf mythology of this series. In each book we get yet more revelations as to just what is going on in the growing werewolf community and how werewolves 'work' in this world. Its a unique take on the mythology and I love that we are sort of learning about it with the rest of the SWAT team. With WOLF HUNT we get a change of scenery as the SWAT team goes to New Orleans which helped give a different feel to the book compared to the previous Dallas/Texas-based books. I am still bit miffed that they have been able to keep the 'secret werewolf task force' thing so undercover for such a long time.

On the romance front, I liked how Remy and Triana skip the insta-love trope by having them know each other from high school. I enjoy that in this series they give a good reason for the whole 'fated mates' trope or as they call it finding "The One". They end up together because they actually work well together and have an emotional/intellectual connection beyond raw passion. The way their romance builds from a casual fling into something more serious is very well done and made for some pretty steamy moments. Also, they are super awesome together, be it in the quiet romantic moments or the hectic and dangerous ones.

At the end of the book we get a revelation as to why so many people in such a close proximity are finding "The One". Its neat that the author actually gives a reason for basically all of the Dallas SWAT team pairing up so quickly and it isn't merely because this is a romance series and that's just how it goes. There seems to be some sort of big revelation/show-down coming up and I am on board with whatever comes up next in this series.

I liked Remy, especially when he teases his girl, " he chuckled. “Wooing? Is that what I’m doing? I thought I was taking you out for dinner.” Remy seems real upset about his girl not wearing any panties, “I guess that means you’ll just have to go out tonight without any panties,” he said with a deep chuckle. “What a shame.” Remy is not a shy man when it comes to his nakedness, “this is New Orleans, darlin’.” Remy’s mouth twitched. “I doubt anyone will even notice. Besides, it’s dark out.” I loved this book, I love the men in this series, I love their animalistic instincts amd behaviors.

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well, and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, super-hot alpha wolfs, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Hungry Like the Wolf (SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #1)
Wolf Trouble (SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #2)
In the Company of Wolves (SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #3)
To Love a Wolf (SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #4)
Wolf Unleashed (SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #5)

This is Triana and Remy’s story. Remy and Triana knew each other in high school but he moved away. Now years alter they are both different people. When he comes back to town her scent lures him in. But even if he thinks she might be The One he knows he is not going to have her forever. He had a love before and lost her and he dose not ever want to go through that pain again. Triana is in town to see her mother but also to try and solve her father’s murder. He was murdered years ago but she wants to finally get to the bottom of the case. She falls for Remy hard but he pushes her away when he feels her getting in deep. When danger comes will Remy be able to convince Triana that he was wrong in pushing her away? Or will he lose her to the danger?

I loved these characters and the other wolfs. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Another great Swat series story. This time part of the Swat team goes to New Orleans to do some training. In the recent past the shifters have been finding their One Fated Mates and although one, Remy, of the team has had and lost his mate he seems to have found another, when he runs into Triana, a former close school mate. He doesn't want a mate as he feel his last was killed because he couldn't protect her. But fate is not letting them go and their sensual attraction to each other can't be denied. Trouble finds them both when they discover information concerning Triana's murdered father, that also involves life changing information about Triana herself. If you love reading paranormal romance that includes action, danger and thrilling romance this book is for you. Wolf Hunt can be read as a stand alone, but reading any of the previous books in the series really adds that extra punch and enhances each story in the series.

Remy Boudreaux has been the playboy of the pack, always having a woman in his bed but never getting serious. In WOLF HUNT, we find out why.

And so when he's on a training operation in New Orleans and is strongly drawn to a woman, he's cautious about getting too close. Especially since that woman is Triana Bellamy, a friend and crush from high school. But their attraction can't be denied. Though Remy does try to deny it, with consequences.

In the meantime, a storm is barreling down on New Orleans. Triana gets a lead on one of the men who killed her father, and Remy becomes involved in a drug case. All of which comes together in a "perfect storm" of suspense and danger. And just when you think it's over, it isn't. And after that come the dire predictions for the future... And so the series continues.

Holly hell what a book! This book is so well written it just flows.
And the story is so intriguing. It had me locked in its pages to the end.

This story is about Triana and Remy. Remy has been in love before
and he never intends to do so again. For to him love means loss.
Even when he finds an intriguing scent leads him to his old high
school friend and crush. Possibly the mythical One meant for him.
Triana is something else smart witty and just perfect for Remy.
But she is in danger. She is looking for the man responsible for her
father’s death and that may be the worst thing she has ever done.
She is a CSI in a sense and thinks she can figure it out. But some
things are not what they seem and when she finds out her mom’s
secret she is truly floored. Then there is her mom, this woman is
amazing she runs a voodoo shop in New Orleans. And she seems
to know more than the average person. But when Triana gets
herself in trouble will Remy be able to save her in time?

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope
you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this
book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like
it when you do; they value your opinions too.

I was really excited to read Wolf Hunt. This seres has really grown on me. Remy is an interesting character. He had a traumatic transition into his werewolf life that had him swearing off falling in love. It left him emotionally unable to move to a new relationship. Triana is an old friend that now looks like she could be "the one."

I could really sympathize for Remy. He truly felt love for another woman that had him believing that he would never fall in love again. But I wanted to slap him more than once. He doesn't want to hurt Triana but he can't see having a future with her. He has to find a way to get over his past and move on to his future.

Triana is head strong and independent. She has her own secrets and there is a mystery revolving around her father's brutal murder. And even though the case is cold she will not give up on trying to find justice for him. I also love the fact that she has her own reservations about the relationship but even though she doesn't know about "the one" she feels a bond that she cannot turn away from.

Paige Tyler decided to take the SWAT team out of Dallas for Wolf Hunt and send them to New Orleans, which is one of my favorite places. This made for a great location and added some more revelations for Remy and the other members of the pack. They must somehow help take down a drug dealer that also has secrets of his own. Paige added tons of actions and suspense to this novel and I couldn't put down the book in the last fight scene.

I still love the idea of "the one" and look forward to the continuation of these series.

I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Second chance at love, and renewing old friendships. Wolf Hunt tells the story of Remy Boudreaux another Alpha of the Dallas SWAT team. Remy and his fellow SWAT team are in New Orleans on assistance training assignment. One tantalizing scent latter Remy is on a spiral like none other. But after a mission went wrong and his lover was killed, Remy wanted nothing to do with love. But, Remy has no choice when he found “The One” person who would make his life complete.
Wolf Hunt was okay, right on par with all the other titles in this series. Only a slight difference there are some people who know that werewolves exist and will stop at nothing to become one. Wolf Hunt is a good action adventure/Paranormal romance. This was a very mild romance compare to her other titles in this series. So, I guess that is another slight difference. But all in all, a great sixth book.
