There was a post in Chloe's Facebook group that was made, right before she archived said group, that said she had a"grown to hate the Boy of Tommen series and was DONE with it" because of the backlash and hate after the release of Taming 7. Let's all please remember that authors are human too. Just because you don't like something or it wasn't how you pictured/imagined it doesn't give you the right reason to attack an author. These are their characters and stories. Respect that.
(also in this case pretty sure the publisher gets final say and probably limited the size of the book and can have control over the storylines)
Seems like she is writing again and has fallen back in love with the series as of 9/14/24. We don't know what's been going on behind the scenes not just with her but with her publishers too, but based on her Spotify I have hope!

While checking my gr for updates on this series as I really enjoyed the first 2 books, I came across this and from a review/comments I read it seems the H had cheated on the h. 2021 is approaching I'm not accepting that BS! You can't convince me a cheater deserves forgiveness and a second chance! No more cheating heroes!!!!! Stoppppppp it!!!!! Everyone is different but I refuse to accept cheating as part of my ROMANCE reads.

I am so excited for this one I know it will be my favourite out of the bunch. I’m ready for all the heartbreaks and sobbing. A few people have voiced their displeasure already but this is exactly what I love about the Author. Chloe Walsh romances have never been straight forward and in this series we get that in the form of Hughie and Lizzie. Her characters aren’t perfect, her character are realistic they make me mad and they make me love them all at the same time.
