Mikhail knew he found his mate the first moment he set eyes on Rowan. There was only one problem—Rowan doesn’t believe in fated mates.

Will Mikhail be able to change his mind? Or will Rowan run as far away as he can before he gets a chance?

Rowan doesn’t realise Mikhail will do whatever it takes to prove to him that they’re destined to be together. All he needs is a chance to show him.

But Rowan isn’t ready to dive in headfirst and risk his heart because everyone keeps using the word fated. All he knows for sure is that he is to drawn to Mikhail and is willing to give them a shot.

When one night together ends up with an accident neither saw coming, will the threat of pregnancy tear them apart?

Sometimes when you least expect it, you get the biggest rewards. But can Rowan let his walls down enough to actually accept Mikhail so he can show him that his heart will always be safe?

Or will this Whitfell lose both his mate and his chance at a family?

~2.5~

There was some tension in this story, since Rowan was burned by a shifter before and thus resists Mikhail's charms, but in the end it follows the same formula: mating, mpreg, baby, HEA.

I enjoy these books in the same way I enjoy junk food. It's kind of good in the moment, but later I'm all, Why did I eat that?

Ro just so insufferable throughout the book I get that he need reassurance and closure but what doesn't make sense to me is the freakout when the pregnancy happened, he's been the one that wanted a child the most but the angts I thought was just so unnecessary and bring no point to book, I like mik tho he'd been so patient and understanding of ro.

Kasian Mikhail yang harus bersusah payah untuk dapetin Rowan karena Rowan pernah sangat dikecewakan oleh mantannya dan itu membuat dia sinis dan tidak percaya sm yang namanya fated mates.

I absolutely LOVED this fantastic, poignant, grab-you-by-the-feels, engaging, endearing, a little bit angsty, sexy, delightful, amazing, sweet, fascinating, emotionally charged, and totally awesome tale. It's the third entry in the wonderful Whitfell Brothers series, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Rowan hasn't heard from his brothers in weeks and he is worried. He decides to make the trek up to Whitfell after tracking his brother's cell-phone. There he stumbles upon his brother Alfie, just given birth and a family of shifters. Unlike Axel and Alfie, Rowan isn't surprised to learn about shifters, in fact he already knew they existed. Mikhail Whitfell knews immediately that Rowan is his fated mate the minute Rowan wakes into the birthing room. He wants to go after the man but Rowan rebuffs him at every turn. What will it take for Rowan to see that they are perfect for each other? How can he make Rowan realize he won't ever leave? Both men will have to decide what is worth fighting for.

This is the 3rd Whitfell Brothers novel and this one is my favorite. Mik is by far the cutest brother. An Alpha that is so shy and unsure of himself is just so adorable and frankly I love that he does struggle with the confidence of whether Rowan will want to be with him. It's a nice chance from seeing the typical strong and powerful Alpha that can do anything. Mik seems more human than other Alphas and as such more relatable. I also really loved the take on Rowan's journey into the shifter world. It was heart-wrenching what he had to endure and how he found out but his story into their world was different. It was also a nice change on the dynamic of this series, since the last two books both Axel and Alfie didn't know shifters existed. I highly recommend giving this book a read!

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

Meh

I don't think the characters were as unlikable as some people did. Rowan is annoying for sure but I feel he's redeemable. And really going off of the book's timeline, it was only about a week between meeting Mik and then starting to date. Seems like a perfectly acceptable amount of time to decide what you want. As a story though, reading and reading someone's thought process gets to be annoying. Especially since it was a lot of back and forth, for Rowan at least.
Mik knew what he wanted but wasn't really sure what to do about anything. I wish he would have stopped asking his brothers for help because they just gave him a hard time when he did. I felt like Malek and Malachi were dicks to him and should have been more empathetic since mates are supposed to be some sacred thing. I also just found their behavior inconsistent from the previous books.
I will read the last book in this series but I think that will be all I read from this author. The promise of no angst and lots of fluff just doesn't get delivered.

So much angst

In my review for the previous book, I said that Mikhail's brother Malachi was patient with Alfie. In comparison, Mikhail has the patience of a saint. I can totally understand Rowan's initial reticence and even his reactions. But, after he'd worked through those issues it felt to me like he was stringing Mikhail along. The poor guy walked on eggshells terrified he'd say the wrong thing and Rowan would run.

I did enjoy the book. There were a lot of sweet and funny parts and way less sex than the second book, unsurprisingly considering their rocky beginnings. It was nice to catch up on the others and see how they're doing although I got really annoyed with their jokes and teasing when Mikhail and Rowan first met.

Oh sweet Rowan..
What happens when you track down your brothers without them knowing?
You get an eyeful and a surprise..i think?

This story between Rowan & Mikhail is one that I never seen coming. We of course get the beginning of it at the end of Malachi in a specific room but now we get the full picture and ugh is it hard to read through the heartbreak that still lingers.
Mikhail is the definition of "if he wanted to, he would" in this book. His mate is terrified of the word "mate" because of his past but he is determined to show him that all shifters aren't what he thinks he knows of them.

This story is one that is filled with those good moments but also the moments that have you gasping. I know I did at a few parts of this book. The upside though is when you go in, you go all the way in and it is a nice ride to the top to see the bigger picture and accept it.

There is only one book left with these brothers, how will the baby Whitfell brother fare.

So the thing is that I really liked these two but honestly it had a lot more potential. Supposedly you can’t get pregnant if you aren’t mated because they have human anatomy so I don’t understand how it works here. And the whole terrified thing with ro I think lasted too long I think we got too little of them together happy and also I wanted more of them as a family

These are short novella instalove mpreg shifta romance. Even for that they are super surface level fluff read. Not bad not super engaging. Apart from the first book. Every mate wanted to fight their mate insta love which was weird. They loved each other had attraction, sex, pregnancy. Forced proximity. So thats what was meh.

I though Rowan was never going to get it together! Poor Mikhail couldn't catch a break with him. He was always pulling away. But Mikhail never gave up! Loved this book! Now, on to the next book!!

Mik and Ro were my favorites so far. Their story was more believable since they took the time to get to know each other.

Awesome❤️

So far this is probably my favorite! I tended to get mad at Rowen for running but there is a very good reason. I also liked that Mikhail is also a little insecure. Even though this is fantasy it made it a little more real. I can’t wait on the next one!

Mikhail is the third book in the Whitfell Brothers series. Although this Skye Richmond book can be read as a standalone, the beginning might be confusing for those who haven't read the other books.

Mikhail is a wolf shifter who takes a liking to the human Rowan. Mikhail is a great character, full of patience and determination. Rowan on the other hand is hesitant and definitely doesn't trust the whole fated mates thing.

Their story includes some hesitation, fear, jealousy, and some light angst. It's a good read, as Rowan has been burned by an ex before. But there's also plenty of heat and sweetness. My favorite scene by far is their first kiss.

Told in alternating 3rd person pov, the pace is great, with a seamless flow. The dialogue is well written. The emotions are well truly felt by the reader.

I definitely recommend Mikhail, and I'm not anxiously waiting for the next in the series.

Your fated mate keeps running away. What's a wolf to do?

What a great addition to the Whitfell Brothers series. All the brothers make an appearance. Questions are answered. Resolve is tested. Patience is honed. Trust is earned. I loved this book!
This is Mikhail & Rowan's story. Two of Rowan's brothers have mated Mikhail brothers. Mikhail knows Rowan is his fated mate. He is willing to wait as long as it takes for Rowan to accept him. But Rowan has been hurt by a shifter in the past, and winning his trust won't need easy. Problem: Rowan is falling for Mikhail. When a broken condom causes unforseen consequences, they will have to decide what's important.
Yes, there are steamy scenes. There are babies. Come join the journey to HEA. Share in their hopes, fears, joys. Get. This. Book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

This is the 3rd book in Whitfell brothers series. Mikhail finally finds his mate but Ro is running as fast as he can from him. Mikhail can understand why Ro doesn't want him as his mate. Written well that everyone can have insecurity about relationship. With the right one they will be by your side. Highly recommend this book today

Mikhail just wants what his brothers have :
A great mate and family.
Too bad that when he finally meets him, Rowan has been burned before by the whole mate deal.
His viewpoint is been there, done that, got the t-shirt, no thank you.
Rowan really is his own worst enemy, but Mikhail is so loving and patient with him.
Mild angst over the obstacles in their way, but not insurmountable odds to their HEA.
Another perfect addition to this great series.

Mikhail is the third book in the Whitfell Brothers series by Skye R Richmond. This series is fantastic and this book is no exception. Mikhail and Rowan have some obstacles in their love story. So while there is a bit angst... there is also a bunch of sweetness, heat, fun that made me smile. Loved this book and cannot wIt for fourth book to come out.
