OUTSTANDING Thriller!!! Super Agent Zeb Carter is on a mission alone,much as he likes it!! That way he only worries about himself,no team members to get hurt or in trouble along the way. He is in Libya, chasing a very deadly terrorist, when he tries to get info from his team at home...Nothing..No answer to phone, or secret texts, or words on a set market place on the internet..At first he thinks there may be a small problem... Only soon he is attacked by a military style team with obvious intent to Kill!! What is going On?!
Able to extract himself from several such attacks he is aware of people watching him, and finally goes to the internet to his Team's other site, the security company they also run legally...And there he finds his photo with a Big Black X...He has been deemed a Traitor, with even American agencies sending teams to kill him...WHY..What Did He Do..
Even As Zeb tries to find out why everyone is after him, he keeps on his mission,because That is the man he is..Although with No word from his team at home, no assistance in any way for this deadly assignment, and so many after Him...Never Has he been THIS Alone!!!

Zeb Carter book #5
What can I say except this is one exhausting read and a heck of a good one on top. For those looking for thrilling and never ending action, this latest will more than satisfied your craving. In “Traitor” Mr. Patterson does not leave Zeb any time to rest now that he is the target of all the assassins around the word. The best and most respected operator has been framed, labeled a traitor and a kill order has been placed.
The story line is a riveting one and could easily be ripped from headlines. In Libya, Zeb is in pursuit of the world’s deadliest terrorist when the first kill team attacks him. But this is the start of a hunting game…Can he stay alive….well of course he did …as in all good series the protagonist is needed for the sequel (no secret there).
This is by far not a boring story, from the first chapter till the very last we have Zeb jumping many hurdles and killing many to stay alive in order to accomplish what he came to do. Along the way, we are into one crazy scene after the other giving us lots of excitement with many of twists and turns popping out continually. Mr. Patterson also did not forget to give us plenty of violence to make us cringe. This thriller is so vividly describe that you can picture every move in your mind. As for the characters, the usual gang eventually shows up to save the day, they play strong parts as expected. All good by the end…good guys win and bad guys lose…

When a new Ty Patterson book comes out, it immediately goes to the top of my To Be Read list. And this one certainly deserved to be. Fast paced, with all the non-stop action and suspense you could want. A very fast 499 page read.

Excellent suspense
This was ,in my opinion, an excellent read. Great suspense and character development. It had me hooked after a few pages. I highly recommend this book!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

Frankly speaking, I didn't like the title as I like Zeb a lot. But who can say no to a Zeb Carter novel??
As usual the book is fast paced with lots of action. I enjoyed it very much.

Good book
Ty Patterson does a good job with great characters, a nicely evolving plot, twists, turns and a great ending. Read this one as well as all the Zeb Carter series books.

Great reading! How could anyone think Zeb is a Traitor. They made it look good. But anyone who knows Zeb Carter knows his most endearing character trait is his loyalty.

Excellent thriller. Would have finished it sooner, except that it was a holiday time and we had company! Always enjoy this team’s stories, fast-paced and hard to put down.

Zeb Carter Is Back In Action! Another Suspenseful & Thrilling Covert-Ops Adventure!
For me this is a difficult review to write. No, it isn’t because the book was bad, nor that I don’t have things I want to say. It is difficult because I’m concerned I could say too much and thus spoil it for others. I HATE SPOILERS!
That said.
This is the fifth book in the “Covert Ops Series” and in all probability my favorite in the series, at least, so far.
From the moment I began reading this book I was hooked. I simply could not walk away from it, and once began I read it through. Time passed quickly. Too quickly. Then it was done.
The plot is excellent, and the author, Ty Patterson, is a “Master Storyteller” ranking with the “best of the best” of those who write in this genre (and yes I know some find him a bit of a “Superman”, and beyond “reality”, but it is “fiction” don’t you know).
Not only was the story-line riveting, but the character development, the editing, and the proofreading was also exceptionally great. Absolutely error free. No time lost attempting to discern what the author was attempting to relay.
If you have not read any of the previous books I definitely would recommend them first, there are only four previous books, and reading them in order will increase your enjoyment, however, “it can be read as a “standalone book” but you may feel a bit lost. Your call.
I Highly Recommend This Book. I do not feel you will be at all disappointed.

Next to non-stop action in the dictionary is TRAITOR BY TY PATTERSON.
How can Zeb be a traitor? He's cut off from his team. He's being attacked by skilled teams--who don't want to take him alive. He's on an impossibly difficult mission. How can he fulfill this mission and fight for his life from not only the subject of his mission but non-stop teams after him?
Zeb is a team all by himself and his "beast". (An inner force that takes over to make him the force he is.)
Zeb and his team fans will refuse to believe the evidence even though not even the I T genius twins can seem to find fault. He can't be a traitor -- will they prove his innocence? Can they find out who sent the evidence?
From page one there is action described so vividly you are there. You hear the grunts, smell the blood and gun powder, see the amazing moves and reaction of not only Zeb but the professional teams sent after him. The descriptions of the locations add to that feeling of being there. The characters familiar to Zeb fans are true to their patriotism and amazing skills combed together they are unmatched.
This may be the best Zeb Carter story yet. (please ignore that I say that at the end of each one.)

It is becoming more and more difficult to think up enough positive adjectives to describe Ty Patterson's books, as they just keep getting better and better, and this is certainly the best of this series so far.
Zeb is in the middle of a very difficult assignment, when he is suddenly cut off from the rest of his team, and he finds himself the target of some very determined assassins, this is due to what appears to overwhelming evidence that he has turned traitor and is colluding with a hostile power. The evidence is so strong that even readers who know that Zeb is incapable of being a traitor will question him.
This book really does define what makes a great thriller, with lots of excitement, so many twists and turns that I lost count of them and a very clever plot. The only caveat is that the body count and violence is very high, but I doubt that will put off readers of this genre.
As always with Patterson's books the ending is very ingenious and wraps the story up nicely.

The author did a masterful job of presenting the multiple aspects of the story and keeping you guessing as to what is going to happen next, who is ultimately behind what is going on, and why?
Zeb knows that the mission he is on in Libya is dangerous, but why are there so many unrelated groups after him, and how do they keep finding him? While he'd like to get to the bottom of those questions, he knows he needs to continue on and complete his mission.
Where do I sign up to be a part of his team? They have diverse characters but work well together as a unit. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Zeb Carter, probably one of the most respected operators in his field of expertise. He leads a team that is feared and well respected by other agencies . They are extremely jealous of Zeb and his team. He has been framed, labeled as a traitor. A kill order has been placed on him. POTUS holds him in high regard but his hand is forced. Protocol is followed. Zebs team is in shock. Their going to prove it's not true. Protocol be dammed. A crooked defense, contractor, a high level Chinese politician and the U.S. Secretary of state are behind these false allegations. This is a monumental read of epic proportions. My highest recommendation!

when you read a Zeb Carter novel you know to expect a fast-paced story with action to keep you on the edge. But this book may have your heart-stopping when Clare, Beth, Meghan, Broker, Bear, Chloe, and Roger must watch a video that will totally destroy them. When they hear and see the evidence against Zeb Carter. When they receive orders to track down and kill the one person they respect the most. This story is well written, seamlessly taking us from one breath-stealing moment to the next, as the team tries to find out why this happened.

Thanks to the author for an ARC of this. What can I say? This whole series is just fabulous and with each instalment it gets better and better.
When irrefutable evidence comes to light that Zeb Carter is a traitor, that he’s sold out, and not only betrayed his country but his friends too, you like them are shocked to your core - and so it begins........

Fast paced action with characters one can relate to is a hallmark of the authors' Zeb Carter series. Traitor delivers on all these attributes plus more. The author ties his stories in with current world events and keeps the focus on the main character, Zeb Carter. Action, government conspiracy, and suspense keeps the reader on the edge. This is a must read!

Ty Patterson does it again! Each book in the Zeb Carter series is better than the one before. ‘Traitor’ kept me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. I always wonder how he’s going to top each book in this series, and he never disappoints. They keep getting better. I highly recommend. 📚📚📚

Zeb Carter has a mission to finish - and stay alive for a reason he cannot fathom every government and private agency in the world is trying to kill him; even his own agency. Zeb completes his mission, stays alive, and finds out who the real traitors are and deals with them accordingly.

Ty Patterson writes another amazing thriller with an excellent storyline and great realistic characters. The plot is action packed with plenty of suspense. Very well written and hard to put down. This series just keeps getting better. Very highly recommended book, series, and author.

Exciting reading from start to finish!
I have read each of the Zen Carter series books. This was by far the most exciting and entertaining of all the books in the series.
Looking forward to the continuing series with the Agency, Zeb and team continuing to protect the USA.

Great book! Packed full of action and emotion. Zeb is just trying to complete his mission but the odds stacked against him get way bigger!
Ty Patterson has created a great action hero and this is another story about Zeb and his team that does not disappoint.
