And after spending time with her father, Drew, Lily is back with her boys and hoping for some peace and quiet. But confrontation comes from every side, and with horrifying visions, kidnapping, and more betrayal, their lives are in constant turmoil.
When Gerry, her mother's fiance gets hurt by Lily's magic, it triggers events that will lead them to a final battle with Hestia.

Retribution is the fourth and last book in The Seer Series.
After a trip with her dad learning about the area's history and her magic, Lily is eager to get back home to her boys. School is winding down for the holidays and before their final exams. Lily is looking forward to some quiet time to enjoy their bonds, But their life is never quiet, never simple. Gerry's hatred of magic is adding more stress to her relationship with her mom. Lily finds herself at odds over the future with her guys. And Lily experiences several terrifying visions involving Hestia. She is in danger, but more importantly to her, her boys are in danger. Someone is lying, someone will betray her. Lily doesn't know who she can trust and who wants to use her. She does know she will do whatever it takes to protect her loves.
This is an action-packed conclusion to Lily's story. I loved the magical history. It's full of twists and turns. I also loved how their lives were filled with day to day issues as well as life and death issues. Just because you have an evil witch seeking eternal life and world domination after you doesn't mean that the rest of your life stops and waits. There are still exams to be faced, arguments to be settled, family dramas, and daily tasks. On the flip side, life can't all be about training and preparing for the final battle. There has to be time for school dances, first times, and day trips, not to mention time for baths and sleep. My personal favorites were the Yule celebration and the day Lily and Drew spent on the coast.
This was an emotional book of growing pains. Lily and the boys, Lily and her dad. Lily and her boys rushed into the bonding without any knowledge. Their love was strong but that didn't mean it would fall in place easily. The fights made the sweet times even sweeter. Lily and her dad were denied their life together. Now there are trust and control issues. This relationship brought as many smiles and tears to my face as the bond between Lily and her boys. I never thought I would be a fan of Drew but watching him come into his own as a father, accepting Lily's boys, his friendship with Jonas, and his love for his daughter was everything. And I loved the banter between Drew and the morons! The final battle was fantastic. I can't say anything but I loved it on multiple levels. Finally, the epilogue was all I could have hoped for. After the tears, came the smile. A fitting story for a beautiful little hedge witch-seer and her fae.
***CONTENT WARNING: There's descriptive violence and torture involved in a vision that Lily has and in the fight at the end. On-page death of a significant character. ***
3/6/24- *I usually don't write gushing reviews, so please know that this is a genuine reaction with recognition for how good this was.
This series was such a wonderful surprise, especially since I found it in the middle of a reading slump. The quality of writing was so refreshing and the world-building was rich without being overwhelming. I enjoyed all of the characters and I really appreciated that the four guys were different enough that they didn't get lost amongst each other (with the exception of the twins, but it still worked and their connection was so pure and sweet).
I really enjoyed the red herring(s) thrown in throughout the books and all the different turns this took. Drew was my favorite character and his POV being included was a great choice, especially in showing his character development. I think he's probably the best fictional father I've come across, which was also very refreshing. I wish there had been more closure involving Lily's mom/aunt and maybe some comeuppance for how she and Gerry treated Lily towards the end of their relationship. That kind of emotional manipulation that Lynda did to Lily was scary with how accurately it was done, especially since it was never acknowledged that she was manipulating her.
I had a feeling that a specific character would die at the end and I was proven correct. It was a well-written, emotional death scene, especially since it was done in that person's POV. That kind of scene is hard to get just right, but the author nailed it and it was so moving that I cried. I will definitely be re-reading this series in the future and I'm so grateful for Goodreads that I found it in the first place.
*Sidenote: For some reason I kept picturing the evil great-grandmother as "Mom" from Futurama, with the purple bodysuit and thigh-high black boots. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please look it up; it made my reading experience even more entertaining and I want to spread the joy.
What an amazing story this is! I've recently reread all the books in this amazing series. This is a must read series in my opinion and since I've read Lily's story and her guys it's so good. Book 1 of the Seer series was a book that was in an anthology, falling for them vol 1 and I fell in love with it back then. I've reread the series as a whole multiple times and it still does make my heart go boom. Lily fights for her loved ones but someone will sabotage her and all in in danger. Can she win and hold all that is dear?
It's based on Lilly- May the main character who at the beginning finds out she has magic and learns to control it. For me personally I loved all the books, there were a few things that I found odd, like if she was concerned about something she never followed through asking questions. The twins sound fascinating and would love to see what they all looked like. One thing I particularly like is that all the questions you have and strands of the story are all explained
This series was SO good! I absolutely loved it. Such a sweet romance with a really interesting fantasy plot! Also loved the characters of her dad + Jonas. Their friendship was so silly. And I loved how her dad teased her boyfriends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give a book more than five starts this book would definitely get it. This is the final book in The Seer Series by RM Walker and it was amazing. It was so well done and a perfect send off. I’m a sad that it’s over of course but I wouldn’t change anything for the world. Lily is a character of loved since high school. She is sweet, charming, and just the perfect female lead. I loved her men Nate, Matt, Josh, and Jake. They each had qualities that I loved and I’m so happy Lily picked all of them. This book definitely gets steamy because now there all over 18. I really like that RM Walker did that. This book made me laugh and cry, and let’s be honest made me feel every other emotion in the world lol. All I need to do now is get this book in paperback so my collection is complete. If you guys have not checked out this series definitely go and read the first book Lily. If you like RH or are new to the RH world than I think this series is perfect for you because this series while it does have romance it is not the sole focus which I also love. I want to say a big thank you to RM Walker for sending me a copy. This was sent to me in exchange for an honest review. I’m beyond grateful and honoured that I got the chance to review this book.
Lily Adair has had a stressful yet amazing year. She finds the loves of her life, a long lost parent and more family than she ever thought she would have, but along with all of the joy come heartbreak, deceit, and ultimate danger. Lily and her boys are not only working out their poly relationship, but now have to try and stop the possible end of the world. Don't forget learning how to manager her powers as a witch seer. This was an amazing ending to a powerful series! R.M. Walker had me addicted from the beginning! I absolutely love the way the boys and Lily connect instantly and keep connecting through the whole series through their bonds! Lily is a very strong heroine who can easy Matt's stress with her adoring words and amazing soft side, but also, doesn't let Nate boss her around all the time. She can hang with the eccentrics of Jake and Josh but just not their rats and spiders! I'm sad to see this series end, but it is ending with a magnificent finish, expect lots of tears, laughs, and shocking plot twists!!!

******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
Oh my, this is the best book on the series. Everything has been leading to this captivating and emotional ending. Lily and her guys have so much to go through. These events will either tear them apart or bring them closer. Drew has some inner demons to deal with. Hestia decides it's time to take Lily. War descends on to Trenance. There will be tears 😢 shed. I cried 😢 while reading this book. So worth the crying 😢. I hate the series is ending but I enjoyed every minute I spent reading this. I will definitely be reading 📚 this series again! 💜💜
•••••• I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book/series! ••••••
I want to first say, if you haven't read any of the other books in the series, you may get lost on some things. I hadn't read any of the other three books but it didn't take me long to figure it out (but definitely would love to know the whole story rather than just the bits from this book). For that reason I recommend you read the books in order. I enjoyed seeing how Lily and her guys handle the circumstances they were in and how they dealt with the bond.
One of my favorite quotes of the book is "We're masters of our own actions. We choose every day how we'll react." Read to find out how Lily and her guys handle day to day ups and downs while fighting to protect their town and family.
Despite my irritation with Lily in book 2, the completed story is wonderful. Book 3 is where it really took off for me. The twists and turns with the suspense kept me looking forward to what was going to happen. The growth and development of each character, the realistic problems they faced, and the love shared by the main characters kept me emotionally invested in making sure this ended happily. I was not disappointed.
And with the last book of the Seer series, the story has ended - really well too. Lily grew so much from the first book and despite some hardship (or rather some heartache) learnt to trust herself and the loves of her life. The guys were individually great but collectively strong.
Well worth the wait. Must say I cried over Drew. All the characters are loveable and could be real. The writing draws you in. The story and characters keep you.
This is one of the filler series while I wait for other series to come out. It's not exceptionally good. It's not overly bad. What annoys me of this book in particular is the copycat cover that made the book look like one from Lily Oweds Grimm's serie (one of those I'm actually waiting for).
